I’d seriously consider hiring this Iowa DC if Desai gets poached.

Would Desai get poached I mean I guess any contending team coordinators are possible just seems early for Desai…. Would think Johnson is a hotter name.

Real question is were would the Eagles look if both our coordinators got poached again?

I will also add that I think the Texans OC should be the hottest name for HC job just unbelievable job with what he was given

Sean Peyton turned the crap Broncos around. All the early jokes were warranted, but only took 1/2 season for him to make them relevant again. Pity Iowa had no offense or they would be a top 5 team. Some nice D players to scout. As I posted we drew a ref that hates us. Maybe if he starts the BS the fans can run him outta town. I'm expecting a tough game and some barroom fighting. They've been lipping off for a year, time to shut their pie holes

Freakin Harbaugh wouldn't go on stage to accept the trophy from the Big 10 commish. Surely wasn't because he didn't deserve it because he cheated. He's such a sad piece of crap.

OL. Drafted three straight DL in the first.

Drafted 3 straight OL....2nd or 3rd.   They will take whichever specific player they like more... regardless of which side of the line.

Can you really get behind spending four straight first round picks on Dline?

I don't look at it that way.   I look at the best player available... I look at the depth and the age of the players.

I believe out of the picks in the first 2 days....( right now they have 4)  we see one from each line.   I don't think it matters which one.   I hope they continue their trend of picking who they feel is best player.

Dickerson is my example.   You wanted that huge DT ....the need was there for that guy....more so than OL.   They took Dickerson anyway.

My hope is it goes the same way... just take the better player.    They need additions to both lines, I believe they will get one for each.

I think Milton will be the guy who doesn't get the extension...due to wanting to play it out and go on the open market.  Dickerson, I believe will sign his extension first.  So I believe they will see an equal need on both lines per depth.   But they will target specific players.    Very well might be OL....the best reason is if when they pick there are guys that fit BPA there.

Good sign that he’s heading to the NFL then

Huge difference when choosing at 9 or 30th. I definitely go the top talent at 9. 30th it’s much more muddled. Our D needed a very large DT to help against the run. It was an important piece the D needed to run the scheme effectively. Took Dickerson instead of the NT I liked. But then took Milton in the third and Tuiluputu later. Then came back the next draft and traded up to get exactly that player in Davis early in the first round.

It would suck if we had to let Milton go. He was also a player I liked in that draft. Hope we can scratch together enough coin to keep such a valuable talent on the rise.

Eagles haven’t been picking BPA however. They’ve been picking by weighted BPA. Meaning lineman have their value massively boosted over other more talented players at other positions. Jalen Carter was a perfect storm of BPA being a DT. Rosie even had to trade up one to make sure of bringing him in.

I just see so many ways of getting things done. Not just one singular path. Getting best player available would be a very good way to go about the draft. But not what will happen. Will be taking Oline. More specifically even T.

I mean who is to say the Linemen isn’t the best player in the draft though how does one say WR is better then a DL it’s just how an organization rates players…

We rated Devonta Smith higher then Micah Parsons was that the right decision maybe not but we chose the WR over the DL/LB player

BTA—-Best Tackle Available

What is clearly obvious over the years is the so called big boards from the media guys almost never are the same as NFl teams boards why we always see these so called surprise picks that nobody knows that turn out to be pretty good players

Wonder if that’s why we passed on Micah…considered him a LB

We gave the cowboys a pick extra even to take the ‘LB’

Of course it’s looking like the lowly Cards will be playing at their season high when we face them.

The medias Big Boards are just general athlete ability based. Team specific Boards will never be identical. Like I kept saying about the G O’Cyrus last draft. Knew he’d be a good one. But wasn’t a fit for us. A NT will be very high on certain teams boards…and not hardly considered on others.

Seems we go after C's(centers) and make them G's(Guards). IDK(I don't know)what the significance of that is,but they seem to prefer them over straight out G's. Possibly coincidence, but I thought I'd mention it

For those that say we'll take a line man first...........................

Kelce just hasn’t hung them up and we want to get our young OL on the field interior OL isn’t that huge of a shift…. Judges will likely shift over to C when Kelce hangs them up unless Kelce keeps playing for another 3+ years and Jurgens cements his spot at RG
