I think if we lose this week.   It needs to be an embarrassing loss.  I think right now you see stubborn game planning and play calling.    I think the best thing for this team is a change in philosophy.  Use the running game some...in the right spots.  Defensively we need to stop with the big cushion.

Many have bought into the hype of us being the best most dominant team

Getting Goedert back is apparently a bigger deal then we thought with no adequate BU TE

Made purdy hold the ball longer and the pass he did get out quickly we stuffed for short to no gains leading to longer rd downs forcing longer developing plays giving more time for the rush….

no pass rush is going to look good if the ball is getting out the qbs hand in 2 secs…. Hell look at us the SF pass rush wasn’t dominate hurts held the ball that gave them time big part of that was SF secondary having our WRs on lockdown so no place to throw

Yeah,Howie really needs to invest more in the secondary and LB(of course we've been saying this annually since time began). Slay seems either slow or lazy,I can't figure out which yet.  IDK what Leonard can do here. Dullaz has a new TE(Ferguson) and he's pretty good. Byard will have to handle it,but if we don't get to Dak it's going to be a whitewash like we just had. Byard did pretty well on Kittle, but they merely threw deep on us instead. So as QB's get faster getting the ball out,Howie needs to get some investment going if the D line isn't going to affect the QB. Stuffing the run is great, but you just force them to pass and we can't handle it. The offense looked like CRAP,really embarrassing. I hope we get UP for this game. We play better on the road, but we got LUCKY vs them the last game and if we play like last game,it will be a blowout. Last 2 games,we didn't look anywhere near a 10-2 team. My Dullaz buddy is psyched after watching the trash game we just had

Hurts can't get the ball out in 5 seconds

I'm just ticked off ATM. So many things wrong that should have been sorted by now. NP with 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1,tush push to the rescue, but 3rd and 7's we just cannot convert and it's a bit alarming to me. Hurts isn't the same as last year and it's not close. he refuses to take off,or when he does its 2 yards and fall down. Now that he got the big loot he is not playing well at all. Already scored the big money, now I see no drive from him. It's like he is going through the motions and it makes me angry. Nice for our excellent outside WR's though because they never need to work because the balls never come. There is no injury risk for them just running down the field every play. Siri best have a serious meeting with everyone on offense because they are KILLING the defense(with the already lackluster secondary) and if that is not fixed we aren't going anywhere. Rant over

Idk about " lockdown "  I saw a lot of lazy routes by our guys.  The anticipation of having the ball thrown earlier and then it looks like they give up.

We didn't get that on defense.....due to the main issue... the huge cushion we give.

It kills us on crossing patterns and every short pass.  By playing too soft, it actually allows for all the YAC.

I haven't seen anyone say dominant... but I'm sure we don't read or hear a lot of the same things.  The theme all season I have heard was ..." they find a way to win"

Curious as to where you heard anyone call the 2023 Eagles " dominant" ?

He is  stud two way TE... when a dude is your #3 target and by far your 6th best blocker...  it absolutely is a big piece to miss.  Dude impacts every aspect of the game.

Right but you cant let 1 guy be the key to your entire offense

They are all keys, all 11 guys. Goedert is more-less a tooth broken off of a gear and the whole work's unable to stay synchronized. The receivers help him find cushions in the D and he helps the WR's to get open. We need depth in the TE area which will need to be revisited come '24 season.

It's not a " key".   He just impacts every play as either a top 3 target or the best run blocker other than the OL.

Players matter...otherwise we wouldn't care about free agency or the draft.

It's not one guy being a " key"...it's the one guy making it easier because of his ability.

I mean....if you take Kelce, Kittles or other stud TEs out of their team's offense....it impacts the results.   It's the way it is.  Can't be ignorant to that fact.

Guessing he lost a step and hasn’t adjusted his  game to compensate for it…. Probably plays he breaking on that earlier in his career he could have gotten to but doesn’t quite have that same juice now.

He is what 32 now doesn’t mean he is bad just not the same player he was back in his prime

The knee is probably affected him to a degree not to mention it also has a ton to do with what the coaches are telling him they likely don’t want him to run like he did last year.

Doesn’t matter how you want to say it put being guys were not getting open. If it was the WRs being lazy something needs to be addressed about it… Fact being at least for the 1st half I watched not many places for Hurts to throw the ball.

Hard task to find TEs like Geodart in today’s football…. They all want to be glorified WRs now and don’t want to block.

Does Iowa have a TE coming out lol they produce good TEs that can catch the ball and still do the dirty work blocking

Don’t think that is anyone at least not on this board we have been talking the numerous flaws on this team since the start.

O I’ve hit the turnovers on numerous occasions just bad at protecting the ball all season long… issues sustaining drives. Slow starts been trailing at the half the last 5 weeks We have been forcing our D to play a ton of snaps

D- had not been great give up a ton of pass yards, giving up tds, not getting off the field on 3rd down etc.

Team just has not been helping each other D been put in bad spots all season with offensive turnovers giving good field position the. three and outs…

Agree...I wouldn't put thar on Hurts...more so play design. And the fact that the WRs were running routes every play instead of mixing in a run play where they could catch their breath.   Or some lazy too..who knows

Some on here think the QB is dominant and without flaws.

Right but your entire offense shouldn't tank because of one guy

Welp as a professional organization there should be a plan B and C? This isn't pee wees. We have top notch receivers, decent enough RB's that can catch out of the backfield.Go to plan B. Where is the slot guy? Can't derive any stats from that position?(or rarely) You may get the TE you wanted in this next draft(or maybe I get my slot guy) Either way you cannot tank becuse of 1 weapon on offense. If we had no WR's and he was target #1 I could see your point, but c'mon this is PRO ball. make the adjustments or we are going home
