Hurts 301 yards passing....both Giants combined for 188

Our RBs ran for 136 yards... they only had Barkley run for 80.

But it wasn't dominant?

Like boxing, you can dominate the whole fight but get knocked out with 1 punch in round 12. All those stats need to become points

I kind of thought Allen had bigger potential upside. Not just at returner…but as an offensive weapon. I never was really against Covey though. Heck starting to think Covey or Allen could be better for us than Quez now at WR.

Well that bar IS set pretty low

The common opponents....which are teams we both play....would go to Detroit.     So very hard for us to complain about that...

Both lost to Seattle....both beat KC...  comes down to Dallas and Minnesota.  3 games each there.... we are 2-1... if they beat Dallas and Minnesota...they go 3-0.

So we need them to lose.   At 12-5 tie we could get the edge ( depending on the strength of victory)... at 13-4 tie it could goes to Detroit

Good breakdown of information here. Now’s the time to start getting deep into the tiebreakers. Makes much more sense than how you were trying to several weeks back. That three game losing streak really messed with any scenarios you were considering back then.

"Maricopa Fire finished the regular season #1. Unfortunately, that didn't count for much this week. They could not make it much of a game, losing to Multiple Scorgasm 114 to 85."
ON to the title game!!! I beat the #1 team twice

So we scored 33..... Goedert slipped on the pick 6.    They were 24 yards shy of getting 500.   8 for 15 on 3rd down....2 for 2 on 4th down.

What are we looking for on offense?   50 points?   Or is it like a video game where we score a TD every possession?

I'm just curious?   RBs 136 yards rushing QB over 300 yards passing.    What do we need to see to make you feel good offensively?

600 yards with 5 FG's would not make me happy(except in fantasy)

This we knew looking at the schedule months ago.

We finish we 3 gamed where neither opponent needs to win.

Detroit, SF and Dallas all play teams that are needing to win to get in.

We had the 6 game gauntlet.

" No Mas crazy math where I said 3 -3 could still get us the 1 seed...but I said it looks really good at 4-2 ... after winning 3, I said the Seattle game would be key to beating Detroit and it would force SF to go undefeated.

You look at things now....  the last drive vs Seattle is the difference.   Using No Mas of course.   Funny though how No Mas math was actually correct though.

Funny how my scenario you hadn’t considered now seems most likely ACTUAL outcome. That dang three game losing streak. Wait….didn’t I also consider something could happen at the end last season to not guarantee everything so easy….right before we lost two in a row at the end? Think we need you to hold off on the No Mas math on playoff seeding until we get a bit closer to the end of the season. Stuff happens…and it has,

Now the best 49er team in their history and possibly the best team ever assembled... some of their local fans on here are thinking they could lose.

Something must have been in that eggnog?

Purdy(their god) looked inept, stymied and lost vs the Ravens

We're really missing a solid #2 TE and I have been saying all along we need a slot guy that's a THREAT.. Maybe we should put Julio in the slot???? At least maybe he would have an effect like a #2 TE. JJ made a career from the slot. We need a better one for sure. Zach doesn't seem effective. neither does Quez. We need that Edelman guy

Ok that bar has gone extremely low now, especially how it aged. We only had Quez as the speedy field stretching WR. So if he got injured…or regressed…or now it turns out…both. That Allen was the second best speed WR option. This was all the stuff I was going through on 53 man squad decisions. I made a case for Covey also though. Stated his upside over Allen was his experience finally paying off this season returning. Which absolutely I would say did. Think Covey has done excellent returning punts.

Only thing that stopped Lamar last night was the ref. Did you see that? Ref fell down backpedaling and Lamar fell over him trying to escape a sack. Poor ref. That play is now immortal. Niners or especially Ravens win it all and poor refs mistake will get bumped up several more notches than it already will live in infamy for.

Julio it’s looking like is only good for using his body for positioning on a quick slant route. About all the guy has left in his tank it really is appearing.

33 ....the problem was the flukes gave the Giants 3 TDs.   Should have been 33-3.

Funny... when you say " as long as they win one of Dallas or Seattle....that's kinda saying that it means avoiding the 3 game losing streak.

One would assume the person reading would understand that after losing to  SF... with Dallas and Seattle next....winning one of those games obviously means avoiding the 3 game losing streak.

Hey... if tomorrow is Wednesday... if  eat food either Thursday or Friday... it means I avoid not eating for 3 days....  you see how 3 in a row works?

What was that fluke phantom penalty on Reddick for hitting their QB on his waist, unnecessary Roughness, roughing the QB flag?

Nope. You said win just one out of Bills, Niners, Cowboys. Which we actually did.

Can’t let you completely move the sticks on exactly what you said here. It happened. Your math proved …not so mathematical. But I do believe your math is looking both informative and correct about the Detroit tiebreaking scenarios. Somewhere I picked up Detroit we had SOS on. But knowing they still played cowboys was concerned we wouldn’t make it that far in tiebreaking because we would lose ‘Common Opponent.’ I stated that but was very lazy and had no real desire to actually look it up. Thank you for that.

The math is the math.

Saying let's hold off until we see what happens.   Isn't math.  That's predicting that's I called it stuff.   That's not math.

Math is looking at the amount of games left and understanding what happens if you win or lose a certain amount.

Us beating Seattle would have forced SF to win the rest of their games.  They lost to  Baltimore.   Now they still hold the top seed....they need to lose again because we didn't beat Seattle.

We also can lose the tiebreaker to Detroit because we didn't beat Seattle.

That last drive is really screwing us at the moment.

Because it's simple. If we beat Seattle...then nothing else matters except beating AZ and the Giants.  Now we can win both games and still get the 3 seed... because we lost to Seattle.

There is no "wait and see on the math" the math wasn't a prediction.  It was fact.

Am I predicting what is going to happen?  I'm not.  I'm simply stating the facts.  We lost our opportunity to control everything in Seattle.  Now we can still be #1 seed...but we must rely on SF and Detroit to lose.   That's fact!

They didn't score on that drive....had nothing to do with them getting 25 points.   The kickoff fumble, Goedert slipping ...were major factors in actual points for the Giants.

My 3-3 finish scenario that seemed unfathomable to most it appeared when at 10-1 was actually linking more to thoughts I had of still winning our division over the Cowboys. I’m not conceding the top seed or anything. But still where my thoughts are linked to is winning our division. But now I’m considering what if we finish the season 2-4. I know this isn’t the outcome anybody ever wanted. But it’s very possible still. If maybe we should be focused on Detroit beating the cowboys to allow us to go from 10-1 start and stumble to 2-4 finish…BUT STILL WIN THE NFC EAST.

Hunh?   Go find it.  After beating the Bills...win one of Dallas or Seattle. Was the math.   It forced the 49ers to have to go undefeated.

You see...you have 2 issues.

1. You just like to argue for the attention.  The contrarion.  The " I'm not the sheep "

2. You don't pay attention to other people's posts because you like to read yourself so much.

The math was simple and I put it out there.   Just like with the trade with the Saints.  Just like with the salary cap.

It's foreign to you because it doesn't involve predicting stuff.  That's your world.  Watch the film on the safety from South State Mississippi Tech and call it that he is going to be a good pro.

That's fine... that's not the same conversation as the math on how things work.

Right. . You are predicting.   That's great. Doesn't change the math.

Doesn't change that the Seattle loss took away our control of getting the one seed.

Whether you or anyone else " concedes"  you do realize it doesn't matter.  You or any of us fans do not control anything.  Wishing it to happen doesn't change anything.  The math is still the math.

I have no desire to beat this thing to death. But your math last season was it was impossible for us to not be top seed when we had one loss. At that moment I pointed out that wasn’t accurate math. I stated that if something happened, even stating an injury to Hurts and we lost the last three games of the year not only did The Math clearly prove we could not just not be the top seed …but not even win the NFC East. Ended up Hurts had to suit up for that 17th game and he delivered all the above.
Now this time you said one win against Bills, Cowboys and Niners stretch wins us the division. Now you were pointing towards a scenario where we won every other game after that stretch. So your math wasn’t wrong this time. The scenario was.
The math absolutely is the math. The scenarios are absolutely the scenarios …all of them. I just had the knowledge to foresee these possible scenarios and very capably solved the math to correctly point these things out.

My focus is on the Eagles winning.  Finally a Sunday 1pm game. Let's win first and then see what happens.

Then win the following week.

Our seeding will depend on how good SF and Detroit are.  No longer just us.  Thank you James Bradberry.

Lol... you predict.  You show no knowledge..except the genius of " well there is possibility we could suck and lose a game we shouldn't.

No kidding?  Pure genius!
