So look at the defense the last 2 games.   One long pass play where Blankenship missed his assignment.    And one drive where Bradberry gave up the yards.

Seattle lit up Dallas at home and did ok vs SF.    Put that in perspective.

The D has done fairly well since the switch.

When the offense decides to run the ball and the players stop turning it over.  Not far fetched to make a run vs a weak NFL.

Or... they could lose to AZ.  But I wouldn't bet on that.

So I’m putting up the poll here. Nobody would bet on the Cards winning straight up. But the question is: is it possible this year’s team …right now…loses this game to the Cards?
I vote yes we could lose to the 3 win Cardinals team this week.

No spin of Ham predicted a loss to the Cards attempts you always try to pull.  But it’s embarrassingly possible for a team I’m hoping can have a parade at the end of this season.

I vote it's possible for any team to beat any team in any future sporting event

I still like Trotter, even if Howie won't select him.Adding Luvu and drafting this kid with pick 1 would fix the LB spot for a long time. Van Pran with pick 2(saints)

Van Pran and Van Sum? Call up Vans get them to start making cleats….we’re making some money off this idea. 😂

If you truly believe in Jalen Hurts.... then McNabb, Wentz, Foles losing to Seattle years ago shouldn't matter.

But if you are just a poser in beliefs of Hurts....then sure.  Be worried.

Chalking up the easy gimme W over Seattle after being 10-0…8-0…how many of the straight wins you wish to count here didn’t age well. But you can stay on the easy win over Seachickens island. But you are looking to be alone in this. How many of these games has Pete Carroll been Seattle’s coach for? Nobody said scared of. But when preferring an opponent. That’s just called ‘reality!’ I’m accepting I was wrong in how highly I expected to beat them this year. Not just did they make it close…IT HAPPENED!

Keep beating the drum about what an easy win Seattle is for this team…weeks after they just beat us. Let you in on a little secret here….it’s not a drum you’re beating.

I’m optimistically rooting for us to win the SB this season. Yet voting its way to high an actual possibility we lose to a 3 win team here at the end of the regular season. Some how with this squad both are very reasonably possible.

I’m not getting all negative here though. Gotta beat the Cards. Have to win this game and win the East. I won’t accept anything less until forced to eat that disgusting pie of Cowboys East Champs shoved down my throat!

I can't legit want my team to win a Superbowl...and be afraid to play any team.

Just doesn't fit with the mindset of a champion.  You lose you lose..that's it. Worrying about the Rams or Seattle...if you lose to them you aren't worthy of being a champion.

Nobody said afraid. Or I don’t remember reading that from anybody. Preferential matchups is what the NFL shows us every freaking game. Do you want the top seed? Why? Are you afraid to have to play a team to win the SB? I’m not saying it doesn’t matter at all how teams win their SB and earn their parades. But I’ll take a favorable opponent, bye, favorable call from the ref . …all those get me drunk as crap at the parade after this season…I’ll be a very very happy fan. Rate the worthiness of the team after we all sober up! I’m getting drunk as shite!!!!

Only cowards desire home field advantage either. Real men have to win every game on the road to win a real SB.

I thought the QB was sick.   Do you think a healthy Hurts makes a difference....and playing that game at home?

As a Hurts lover, I'm surprised you don't think it would?

I’m looking for Hurts to lead us to victory every game.

So you agree when a player has to travel across the country on a different plane...it might effect that leadership and play?

Compared to fully practicing, being healthy and playing at home?

Real competitive people look to win every game....not contemplate the idea of losing to avoid a lower seeded opponent.   The reward for the achievement of winning just happens to be home field advantage.

BG....really you had to open this can of worms here where Ham contemplates losing games to get a lower seed...based on fear.

Keep it simple... prefer to have every game at home in the playoffs.   Prefer to have the higher seed.

Then enjoy your morning coffee.

Matchups matter just the reality of it all good chance Seattle jobs to the 3rd seed with LA playing SF this week…

But my only point is we struggle v Seattle at home away regular season playoffs doesn’t matter Seattle has had our number

We will kill Seattle in a playoff matchup at home this year.

Have to acknowledge you’ve made an excellent point with this. Sold

Have we killed much of anybody this season? I’m not seeing this being based on anything but optimism. I hope we kill everybody here on out. But haven’t been killing good, bad or middling teams all season. Really no data to support this statement this season. Think the biggest argument you could make for this belief would be home field crowd. Kelly Green unis is the underrated element. Is there’s anyway at home we don’t go with the Kelly Green at home playoff game(s)? Hurts looking healthiest right now biggest bonus for our success.

Undefeated with Kelly Green Jersey on Hurts

"I have to make sure I have the physical traits of being able to play a certain amount of snaps and not be as tired as much," Maddox said. "I am slowly progressing throughout the week, getting a lot of practice reps."

Disappointing quote. Especially the "slowly  progressing.”

100%   Context of the games matter.   The Eagles had that game... 3000 miles away with what some call the best QB in franchise history sick.  They play here with a healthy Hurts... 10 point win minimum

Coming off playing KC, Buffalo, SF and at Dallas.... the last 2 matchups vs teams who had extra 3 days rest...travel back from Dallas early Monday morning/ late Sunday night...then go a across the country.

Compared to playing NYG, AZ and NYG...just a bus ride...then Seattle has to fight to get in and fly across the country.

Much different.

The Eagles dominated every stat Sunday ...3 fluke plays made the score close.

I'm seeing the last 2 games.

A QB making two idiot decisions while playing with whatever illness and missing practice.  That QB that you pump up more than any player in history... when healthy you out of anyone on the planet should believe he makes a difference.

I see the defense pretty much dominating 2 games.   Barring one drive from Bradberry and a mistake from a reliable Blankenship.

I see an easy help if they decide to run the ball a little more...which I see them do every year around this time the last few years.

Really if the QB avoids being an idiot... should be no problem.

The last two games..

Eagles Defense..

195 and 186 yards passing

10 for 28 on 3rd downs

Both games giving up under 300 yards... Barkley, Walker and the other guy in Seattle are decent RBs.   The WR Corp for Seattle is pretty good.

If i told you this... you would tell me they did it by getting a ton of sacks.

2 vs Seattle and 1 vs the Giants

Now tell me that's not completely different than what was going on before.

The problem is the anger is still there. We have a passionate fanbase that a lot of times can't get past and issue to where they don't see what's actually happening.

If Bradberry wasn't on the field on the last drive, Goedert doesn't slip, the fluke kickoff fumble...  the mindset would be completely different.

On top of everything, there was absolutely some rushing success the last 2 weeks...just in time for playoffs.

For me...  I don't see any problems barring stupidity...which can happen,  but I think everything going on now, the honeymoon over... Kekce and Hurts being the guys who have made the idiot mistakes at the wrong times.. I would feel confident those 2 guys clean it up when the money is on the line.
