Georgia steamrolling a heck of a team today shows they could have won the Championship….if given the chance.

Has a top seed ever basically fired their DC during the season before? Pretty insane to think of what all our team has gone through …especially if they overachieve to get the number one seed. DC so bad he gets pulled. Tons of bumps in the road and issues with our first time OC. With our own players being quoted negatively speaking about it.

Bench the DC. The OC is predictable. Secure the one seed. Just the normal every year stuff. 🤪

Would be pretty awesome if this team overachieved that far.

Honestly felt like we were more of a fifth seed team this year. Wasn’t happy about the Desai instead of Fangio situation. Thought Slay looked like he went over that cliff week five last season. I’ve liked Blankenship the whole time but felt we didn’t have a number two S. Just ignored LB pretty much. Thought we needed another Rb. Been tough on Gainwell in some ways. But that’s because I felt we needed a RB that would make Swift 1B. Or at least a guy that was a 1B. Plenty of positive and strengths. But these are the negatives I felt like were missing from being the top seed…winning the SB.

Felt this way week one…still do. But we sure got a shot at overachieving.

The question that I can beat up and ponder almost endlessly is do we want the one seed or the two seed? Very close to what you asked No Mas. Just leaving the opening that Detroit beats San Fran. So one seed we get bye, Cowboys then Detroit in NFC Championship game. Or potentially two seed of Seattle, Detroit then winner of Cowboys v Niners.

Both this question and yours No Mas I could spin my mental gears on  all night. 🤣 Similar to how I watched tonight’s game….just watch, enjoy and let it play out. No version where I root for the cowboys. But I wasn’t rooting for Detroit either.  It did deliver us the opportunity to be the one seed. But also delivered the opportunity to lose the division. Very tight and exciting season for sure.

Right...that's why it's great we don't choose.   Just win the 2 games to avoid 3 road games...and get minimal 2 home games.  Plus go in with a winning streak.

That's the good thing...winning our own games is so huge, nothing else really matters.

Ironically it seems we are also getting more healthy each week.  Really hit a low point there when Goedert was out followed by the thin DT rotation and the LBs.

We absolutely need the 3rd RB.

I have to be honest...  the whole league feels like a 5th seed to me.   The last two years...I really feel a drop off at the very top of the league.  I know you really like SF...but really I just think the league is weak.

Even last year,  I would put 8 to 10 Eagles teams ahead of them.  Just in comparison to the league and especially their schedule,  they were so much better.

A lot of mediocrity.

I almost agree last season. Why it pains me we didn’t win it all. We were that juggernaut team absolutely. This season? I don’t see it like that. I think it’s a strong competition year. Niners top seed down to Seattle as the seven. It’s tough sledding. Really tough and strong. Cowboys looking good. Detroit having their best season I can ever remember. Could see them winning it all. AFC side Ravens are sick! At this point they’ve earned their spot. Thinking about where KC stacks up. The non playoff teams just aren’t close. Zona, wash, NY(both)…My thoughts are very much you are what you are whatever seeds you earn this season. Niners, Eagles, Lions, Cowboys, Seattle, Rams then South winner. Pretty much exactly how I see the hierarchy of the NFC. The nonplayoff teams? Are exactly that. This season very much playing out to where I’m seeing it as the old moniker by Parcels?(I believe) You are what your record says you are. We could nitpick here or there. Things can still shuffle. But it’s going to play out …on the field. Great season!

I've lost track so correct me if i'm wrong

If the Eagles win out they're the #2 seed unless SF does something really dumb. I guess they COULD lose to the Rams

They need a new stat the "FART"(Fumble And Return for Td)

IDK Ravens look good, browns are fun to watch, Rams getting it together. IDK that this year is any more or less mediocre than the others. of course the mediocrity will continue as they rule out football for wussieball

I see Swift and Gainwell....2 guys....we need a 3rd guy.    3 guys.  Each RB counts as 1.... we use 2.   New England always used 3...the committee is 3.   We used 3 during SB run on 2017.

I want to use 3.  They stay fresh and you can then run the ball as often as you wish.    It's obvious that the Eagles didn't want to run the ball to keep the guys fresh.   That's where having the 3rd guy....that you actually use... will help.

Need 3 guys...that get used.   Corey Clement was one of three and effective.  When we used Howard the group was effective.   Just get 3 guys and use them.

Mostert OUT for Miami vs the Ravens He was a staple on my fantasy team LOL. Had to sub white for the Raiders vs the Colt D

Fantasy will all be decided in the 1 PM games. Wish me luck-just got harder without Mostert-figures
