McNabb record season he had WRs Terrell Owens and Pinkston. Westbrook at RB. Chad Lewis at TE. That’s the comparison for you TD123. Westy greater than Swifty. TO greater than AJ. Smith greater than Pinkston. Goedert greater than Lewis…though he was injured for a bit.

If we want to talk record breaking seasons that was impressive 2017 Carson Wentz breaking Eagles passing Td record with 33 in 13 games…

Weapons worse the Mncabbs and Hurts… Only thing could argue that might have been better is TE with Ertz over the other two

Can't get the one seed, so I agree somewhat. If it can be afforded in the DL rotation I would def sit Cox & Graham. Maybe Blankenship as he's our best Safety. Who else you thinking of resting?

Carter and Davis. Carter looking to maybe have hit the rookie wall. Davis upped his snap count massively. Byard…old legs and not the recovery time of the kids. Swift. AJ. Goedert. DeVonta. Oline and Hurts.

Oh and Sweat…only been a rotational player up until been taking massive percentage of snaps this season. See it in his play…looks like we bumped him up…but then forgot to keep the rotation part going. Reddick is such a valuable player and played a large number of snaps. His production has been down. He was dropping back more than I’ve ever seen him , under Patricia’s watch. Think Patricia overthinking things some though.

AJ brown is unhappy with the coaching staff the D players aren’t happy with the way they handled Desai situation… this team has a ton of internal work they need to take care of before we can even hope to turn this ship around

How often did mcnabb even QB sneak? I didn’t look back that far it’s irrelevant lol…. Fact is we were a highly successful QB sneak team even with Wentz at QB and the other guys that had reps in that span without shoving the QB from behind.

It has nothing to do with names it just straight facts that you love to ignore because it doesn’t fit in hams narrative of jock riding Jalen Hurts.

I give Siri a ton of credit for leaning into the sneak play seeing how successful we have been in the past with this OL and building on it

I’ve been discussing the Brotherly Shove play and the Franchise TD record. Not sure what all you’re addressing here. Hurts has been like 25 of 26 on one yard conversions this season. So can say we’ve been good at it before. But never in the history of the game at any level have I ever seen the kind of success Hurts enjoys. I’m fine with credit all around. I have mentioned Oline, Siri and even added in Goedert as The Shover. Well oiled machine on this play. Which tells us it will be outlawed next season. Any doubt?

That was impressive. If he didn’t always get injured…maybe would own the Franchise TD record. But he got hurt. So he doesn’t hold the record. Jalen Hurts does! In a season where looks like we should fire the OC. Some how our QB scored the most TDs in franchise history with an OC that stunk. Both are true. Imagine having Pedey and Press Taylor here instead. He balling! Hurts has overcome the inferior coaching like a boss.

Lmao of course you are fine with credit all around now that I called you out on your BS after jock riding hurts…. I never in the history of the game seen any coach lean into the QB sneak like Siri.

I do recall that Wentz had a pretty damn high success rate on QB sneaks though under Peterson and again this is without the shove from behind.

I don’t know wtf you’re talking about but I’ve been talking the same thing from the start Hurts tds are more of a product of the OL then Hurts himself as shown by a guy like Wentz that had similar success without the practicing of the shove that Siri has brought it isn’t hard to see

Isn’t this Hurts first season finishing a season???? lol 😂 I mean  score coming at another person injury history should look at the guy your mentioning

This is like saying image Wentz with Hurts supporting cast can you image having two elite WRs a top TE and a better RB with an OL that is just as good if not better then Wentz. And let’s not forget how terrible Press Taylor O was his first year and Pederson didn’t do much to help after Reich left just a stupid comment all around

91.3% … Carson Wentz [21-for-23] On QB sneaks.

Again this is just a guy QB sneaking not having a coach design a play to help improve it… wasn’t getting a shove in the back.

So when you say you never see a QB with that kind of success I’m confused by what you mean.

Can go even further Drew Brees was a perfect 19/19 in that span 100% on QB sneaks.

So again I give credit to Siri for leaning into the play but the success of the play has been around in this league Siri just the first coach to actually use it to this level

Mind you Wentz was also a perfect 13/13 in the SB year on the keeper???? We going to sit here and really say that Hurts is the difference maker though on the play when clearly the success has been there prior it’s just ignorant of you

Was just trying to clarify if you were discussing the Franchise TD record or the Brotherly Shove. Feels like both. But nope on the you pressing me into anything on credit all around. Already mentioned all the others deserving credit many posts before this.

Franchise leader in TDs for a season is? Not franchise leader in the first 13 games. Or who could have done what? Pedey at HC. Reich at OC. DeFelippo at QB coach. Press as QB assistant. Incredible coaches setup there. I couldn’t even tell you who are QB assistant is…or QB coach in the first place. Johnson not looking good as OC.

Maybe you could market that as a contraceptive. Best at preventing pregnancy the first 70 percent of sexual intercourse.

Yes. I don't like Reddick being dropped into coverage. He needs to be seeking the QB.

The best pass rusher…not rushing? Brilliant!

Technically I think before the half also. Nitpick if you just view stats. But yes, agreed. They held the ball and pushed on a worn out D. Nobody getting off blocks and poor tackling. LBs just stink. The rest mostly just looked like a team worn out at the end of the season.

But this game their was no fault of anything else... but the D.   We can't say,  the offense couldn't stay on the field so that made the defense tired.  We  can't say the Cardinals had the lead so they just ran the ball.

The genesis of everything was the Cardinals running the ball successfully the whole game.

The D was tired because of their own fault.   The Cardinals didn't run because they had a lead, they ran to move the ball and score points.

This was no " adjustments" or outside reason.  This is the defense looking itself in the mirror and admitting they got physically whipped.  Nothing complicated or TMZ about it...they got their asses kicked!

Knowing this franchise like we do….is there any doubt whom brilliant idea it was to bring in Patricia…and then demote Desai? Feel the power hungry digits at play on every single bit of this. Same guy that brought in Desai. If your answer is actually Siri? You lose 5,000 credit points.

My point being: they got whipped because they were worn out pretty much to start with. Rolled downhill from there. Just long drive after long drive keeping our O off the field. It wasn’t perfect….but this is the exact age old strategy to beat a good QB. Keep him off the field. What I’ve tried to point out we missed previously at times….namely thinking SB and Mahomes.
But check the snap counts on our guys. Rotation…hasn’t really been rotating. Sweat been out there all the time. Davis many more said than last season. Carter looks like he hit the wall being overused. Tired and when out. Watch the tape. Nobody getting off blocks. Terrible tackling. This D is gassed.
Basically just adding to after agreeing with you.

This is all leading back so much to poor job by the GM. Screwed us getting the good DC. Screwed us by non prioritizing the LB spot to levels that can only be described as: Fire-able!

PFF has Pennix Jr ranked as the 30th prospect on their Big Board. I’d be all over drafting this kid. Strong draft. I’d give up the same round-wise picks the Niners gave up for Lance to draft him. They were like 5th and we are looking to be like 29th being a major difference. From watching this kid…no way I believe he goes right at our pick. I’m so high on him…I’m valuing him as top ten level prospect.

I’d take the Bama P in this draft. Just to flip all the way from top position to lowest. He’s a big guy too. But we at least already replaced our terrible P that cost us the SB. The guy we have now has been doing just fine.
