you’re looking for a positive (they’re hard to find), Ojomo played 13 snaps in this game after playing just 18 all season. The seventh-round pick made a couple plays too.

Yeah…my boy Ojomo got some action.

I think that’s the only solution on the Dline. Can’t afford to completely rest anybody. Need to massively up the backups snaps this last game is the way to handle it. Get Carter, Davis, Sweat and Reddick down to a dozen snaps or so though. Get Ojomo and Nolan Smith big action. Basically reverse the depth chart for this final game. Patrick Johnson and Nolan Smith take most Edge snaps. Ojomo and Tuipolotu get the majority of DT snaps.

Dude should have played way more...he was absolutely stout on a few run plays

It’s like you are making a good point…with the CB off too far. But not! With two LB covering? Nobody!

Or is it the slot CB engaged with the slot WR actually has that outside WR he’s about to switch off. That’s a S inside the Slot is passing off the guy he’s up against too? He looks like he’s clearly working the outside leverage on the Slot WR. So the Slot WR cuts inside…that Nickel CB passes off the slot WR and goes to the outside guy. The outside CB has deep responsibility. Which ever guy. Cover 3 look most likely you are showing here.

Guessing Cover 3 Zone coverage in that picture. Nickel CB is guarding against slot WR on the Out. If he doesn’t cut out….the Nickel CB lets him go and breaks outside covering the outside CB. This is very popular D coverage utilized league wide.

Not looking like Man Coverage to me

Nickel CB has all that outside the Slot WRresponsibility around the sticks. Say that’s a S has inside the Slot WR responsibilty. Outside CB has Deep responsibilty.

3rd and 4 is still tricky territory. Exactly the cutoff you need to expect to still defend the run there. 3rd and 6? Your in pass D expectations. Would make a big difference. The goal in the first place is to force them into a longer situation than 3rd and 4 exactly.

I’d assume there is one high S not in the picture making it Cover 3

So this is at the snap....where do you put your LBs?

Actually this is postsnap clearly

I’d guess outside CB just taking his first backpedal steps.

Ham... you are the QB.... does it matter where anyone else is when you see this coverage?

It only takes one guy to play easy pitch and catch.

Clearly you see the WRs a yard past the line.... if dudes run 40 yards in 4.5 seconds, how much after the snap is this?

Where would you put your LBs ... in the backfield?

I’m going to guess outside CB off ball having deep. Slot CB having outside sticks. SS has slant and inside hook. LB would be side by side one yard closer than SS…most likely

Clearly the ball really just got snapped...ball could have not even been caught yet by QB....probably caught, but not spun yet to where he is even ready to throw with the hand on the laces

And why would you throw anywhere but up top?

Offense is on schedule. That’s first off. D failed to create longer than exactly 3rd and 4. So you have to respect the run still. That hampers the D just selling out in pass coverage. But what do you want a DC to do? You really running Press Man coverage always ? With these coverage players?

It's like the rest of the world gets how simple this is ...and. you just like to argue just to be different.

This is fairly normal that QBs are consistently. The long throw outside has more room. But throw takes longer to get outside. Normal football stuff.

I don’t know if outside WR was on the line of scrimmage or not? My guess looks like QB clearly would have ball in his hands. All Oline engaged. WRs have taken at least three steps.

Yeah, I'm pressing the 4 guys lined up as weapons..... I rush 4 ( because I'm an Eagles DC,so you know the rule is only rush 4 the last 8 years)    so I got 3 other guys I can play behind.... I can't forfeit the quick easy catch.   I need to at least make it to where a junior high QB couldn't get an easy throw in.
