Exactly been the problem since day one of Siri arrival. Second half of SB it was over and over again. AR schooled Gannon. Now seeing it even under the second and third DC. Same issue.

Just remember back to the first games Siri had here. Those were the toughest games on the schedule that year. 

Siri preaches this philosophically for the D to focus on not giving up the big plays. Which ties a DC hands.

To me this all points back to Rosie. So many positives got us to that SB last season. But his negatives are a big factor in why we didn’t win it. He fired Pedey silupposedly over the Press Taylor situation. Which lost us Schwartz also. How similar is this whole situation to Jerry Jones firing Jimmy Johnson? Fired good coaches over his ego. Wanted everybody to believe it was all him…not the strong coaching that won us that SB. Coach Rosie loved the most that he hired was Gannon. But Schwartz doesn’t let AR do that to him in the second half of the SB.  It was practically only two important games all of last season. NFC Championship game and the SB. Give Gannon all credit for Reddick taking out Purdy and winning Conference crown, but lay blame of SB loss squarely at his feet as well.

I believe coaches and Rosie deserve credit for SB victory.

But now maybe need to fire Rosie over his flaws resurfacing.

To me Pedey, Taylor and Schwartz is greater than Siri, Johnson and all DCs since.

How weird is it we lost great OC Reich and Steichen both to  become HC in Indy? You can’t make stuff like that up.

Well I harped on this before also,they aren't(or rarely) putting their hands in the air. We've seen defenses block Hurts throwing lanes,tip the ball,maybe get a pick,but why can't we do the same? I mean this was taught to me in HS(the coach made us play EVERY position so we could get an idea what our teammates had to deal with-this was early on,but everyone on the team understood what everyone else job entailed,then of course we concentrated on the spot we would play at). I mean if you can't hit the QB,you can make life more difficult and that's the idea of a defense

I noticed about Davis. Thought it was about raising up to too many snaps played. So stated he looked gassed.

Why stop there? Who fired proven quality coaches to hire these coaches?

Things didn’t get going under Siri until he relinquished playcalling to Stechein. Siri philosophy and Rosie love for Fangio’s D scheme led to Gannon and Desai.

Should have won that SB last season. Probably not going to ever again until we get the right coaches and GM capable to do so.
