AJ and Swift are pro bowl

Then you have Smith and Goedert 

But the QB can't make a pro bowl with this surrounding cast?   

The offensive game plans were good enough for these guys....can't use that as an excuse!

Lane has 3 years left.   Big money. 

Definitely crossroads for team... except the offense is pretty much in place.  You still have 4 pro bowl or alternate level OL...both WRs and TE.    So the QB will be the one that everyone looks to for improvement. 

The defense needs so many pieces... no one player will be looked at like the QB will to improve a unit that has so many top level players coming back.

Big offseason for Hurts.  Even if team doesn't have the success...he will be looked at to put up Big points and to clean up the mistakes.

Leadership will have to shift from the old guys.....which of the young guys will step up?

The QB will be asked to take on a bigger role there...as well as improve his play. 

He is the key in this next few years. In both aspects...play and leadership.  The training wheels will be off for sure.  Year 5

Think you also have to question howie as well this would be what the 4th internal conflict possibly with him as GM with HCs …

Does this change anything???? Wasn’t brooks still under contract when he retired? Not saying lane will retire but is it completely off the table??? Especially with some of the health and mental problems he has been dealing with

Brooks was injured ....Lane just signed the extension this past offseason.   Still playing at a pro bowl level...Brooks was done a couple years before he officially retired.  Lane still has another Christmas album and a couple more pro bowls.  He said he wants to play until 35. 

Brooks...missed 2020...played 2 games in 2021 and tore his pec. Retired in January 2022.   

Lane just made the last few pro bowls. 

Much different scale.   Do I think he finishes the contract? Probably not.  I'd be surprised if he doesn't play in 2024 and 2025 though.  

That said...they need OL help.  Need that next tackle to be drafted soon. 

The prima donna stars want stats. I keep sating it and no one believes me. They get disgruntled when they make great plays downfield only to give up the TD to Hurts. Thats is not a leader,that is a USER and I think the team sees this. I mean AJ 8 yards in a whole game? Please,that's SAD. He has no pro bowl aspirations with crap stats like that. yeah he got alot early when we played bad teams. At crunch time Hurts cannot deliver. Swift not going to the PB,neither will Goedert. The tush push is great but overused. These high dollar players want the stats that go with it. There will be no Philly Special with this team

Not really nonsense.... Brooks was done...2 season ending injuries back to back ...much different than Lane these last 2 years.  Being away from the game due to injury can take the toll mentally.   Playing probably helps Lane mentally. 

Didn't realize... Lane actually has played more games each of these last 4 years. 

2020.... = 7 games

2021. = 13

2022 = 15

2023 = 16

Probably why the gap in probowls in 2020 and 2021.

Based on the stats from playing trash teams early. Now that it's crunch time,they aren't getting them

Seems to me the players are questioning Hurts leadership and the coaches and the play calls. We looked unstoppable for 11 games,then we took a long walk off a short pier
