It would be challenging to say the least. For anybody most of the time…but it still happens. Contracts get renegotiated to move stuff back all the time. The more challenging the ability to tag him next season the more it makes it likely and smart business to have traded him to get such high return that was expected. But to pay the high price…a team needed to have that new contract worked out for the trade also. I believe being the main obstacle of why I didn’t happen probably. Just nobody quite ready to have paid him that top FA contract all the way. Just like the AJ trade. We had to be ready to cough up the dough without some tough negotiations option.

Watching this game...seeing GB not give a 12 yard cushion. 

Our leverage being good old fashion cash. Is it that hard to imagine Rosie just wasn’t willing to cough up the top dollar contract to a LB?

Nobody had more reason to trade for a top LB like we did. Playoff team with a complete void at the position now and looking towards the future.

Dude...I still don't think you get it.   Baltimore is all in this year.  They were not going to trade Queen.

Heck everybody else here seems to have thought we were a contending team more even than just playoff team. Making it that much more of reason we should have been the clear team to have swung the trade …if it happened.

I even explained how It wasn’t necessarily to be considered a huge roadblock towards Ravens. They would have grabbed a first rounder this year to fill another area of concern. Possibly considered a bigger area of need. They have quality backup LB. Have Roquan. Could have chosen a first round player to upgraded elsewhere. Trading Queen wasn’t just throwing away contending status.

This game is great! Cowboys first round exit might be the best gift we have left to celebrate this season.

I tried to explain.....THE RAVENS WANT TO WIN THIS YEAR....THEY WERE NOT GOING TO TRADE ANYONE GOOD.  INCLUDING PATRICK QUEEN
