Lol...this was the play already in motion.   The outside CB is taking his first step.  You conveniently try to a analyze without looking at the play.  Just guessing.   

Do you think that the players have missed all these assignments all year...or do you think the enormous amount of cushion given...behind the first down marker has been more of a factor on all these easy conversions.

This play...easy out pattern ...pitch and catch ...then a few more yards before stepping out of bounds.   Can't give a cushion where you start 5 yards behind the first down marker and continue to backpedal.  WR...3 steps cut to sideline, catch with nobody near him...then another 5 yards after the catch untouched 

Rams/Lions is a great game!!! It's fun watching offenses that run more than the same 8 plays. Also fun watching accurate QB's that can throw into an 18 inch window 20 yards downfield

Well is already a good postseason Dallas got blown out at home…. Now be a great post season if we get a win though my confidence is low

I am happy for Detroit. I understand the frustration as a "Browns by default" Ohioan. Both were really crap teams with an ancient history and both clubs finally put themselves back on the map. Very impressed with both coaches. I think Ped will do it next year with a nice draft

Where I lived in FL was equidistant to TB as it was to Miami, so that location was a 2 team place(by locale default). So there are my post default Bucs today playing "MY" team. I know the Bucs pretty well. Mayfield will carve you up if you give those cushions on defense. They have 2 decent TE's(maybe 3) that are "capable" yet not astoundingly talented. But if you left me wide open I would kill you too. They have a RB I would describe that same way. After the recent GOUGING by our "run stopping D line" I can only say my faith has waivered as that being a strong point and that needs cleaned up yesterday. I posted earlier what to look for. Evans and Godwin may be older,but if that cushion exists today you can kiss this game goodbye.If we miraculously cover that,then we need the LB's because they will hit the TE's. Shaky secondaries and LB's are a part of being an Eagle fan. It's like the sunrise 🤣

Conversely Baker is similar to the boy's number we always had Eli Manning. If you can rattle Baker early(and I mean early)  he will try to do too much and make stupid errors. You need to squash the first 2 possessions they have. A rattled Mayfield will throw picks and after the first one,it gets worse LOL. So that semi nice pass rush needs to be there and EARLY. We play better away when we come out of the tunnel(I still have no clue why we are flat at home). If Hurts falls down like a little girl we can also kiss this game goodbye. It's time for Hurts to earn that paycheck with his now missing "leadership"

So in summation "ways to kiss this game goodbye" 1) secondary cushions/crap CB play 2) allowing beaucoup rushing yards from an average RB 3)crap LB/S TE coverage play 4) Not getting to Mayfield early 5) Hurts playing like my granddaughter and with the leadership skills of a box of wet spaghetti. Of course these are the points of most every game but they need to be stated for the 400 millionth time
