Losing so many players week 18 game in meaningless giants game was idiotic. What was anybody thinking? If they just at least came in to the postseason healthy. Our team didn’t even show up looking to play week 18 anyway. The injury toll was so crippling. For what? That pisses me off more than most anything. Chose to beat up and cripple our team in that situation. Risk and gamble was terrible. No S and lost A.J. for the postseason important game. Pathetic judgement on what is important. Highest injury field. A worn out beat up team that had no gas left. It’s like we played for the East title. Like it was all we could accomplish so surrendered our playoff chances. Team was pretty healthy before that last game too.

Hurts played poorly too, but he got no help from the playcalling and blocking.

Hurts can't win the tough games. Blame whomever you want but the 5 of 6 game slide and this game were on him and he's a 250 million dollar fail. Lurie has to be beyond livid with this embarassment. It wasn't a loss,it was an embarrassment. I don't care if we lose to a better team,we never showed up Yeah he looks good against garbage teams. So do most QB's

Empty backfield..they rush 6... like clockwork.   Change a play, put someone in to protect.    Call a draw... a screen.  Something.   Zero ability to win mentally.    Dude is in the league because he can run.

Seems like the work ethic was there to learn to play the position mentally.   The short to intermediate passing accuracy is good.

But his game is limited.   One read.  Goes left, can't throw.  Empty backfield,  they rush 6 = game over, no mental ability to adjust.

Very expected you fault Hurts. How I have no idea. Make anybody on our team that thrived really? You blame Hurts for all the also? It was a bad O. Predictable O. The plays were snuffed out completely by the whole league. Mediocre DBs in tight coverage even. That’s what I saw happen this season. O got figured out. Never adjusted to improve. Pathetic. But sure….Hurts should have overcame the bad coaching and predictable O to succeed. His fault we abandon the run. His fault zero YAC came from screens. No way he ever would have looked good under these conditions. He’s gotta be furious.

A good QB can adjust something. Love was changing plays all day yesterday.

We keep running those STUPID sideline plays. That part is not on Hurts but any HS QB can make those throws. Smith was the only good this I saw on offense

I said that same thing before the game

Because he sucked.  The mental part of playing QB...just isn't there.   He needs the playcalling to be perfect or else he can't mentally adjust to anything.

The teammates see it now.  The cliches got old... he is a characacure now.

I just picture how upset Hurts has been this season. Such a competitor. How he kept from complaining getting out is beyond me. He had to voice frustrations. But it’s bad when you want to run your family friend out you’ve known since you were four. But Hurts won’t let these coaches stay. No way he doesn’t make it clear how much a change is mandatory.

Right he is not the same QB as last year. he got his big money, now there is no drive, just fall down like a little girl, take safeties, make 1 yard sideline pass plays. I thought a few completions to Smith would wake up the offense. Nope 1 of 1. Goedert being totally misused

Under an arguably brilliant O minded HC.

Sure it is.... they rush 6...he has to take the quick throw because he doesn't audible into a protection.

Players been complaining about the coaching.

Did Swift have even ONE carry in the 2nd 1/4?

Let your Hurts hating blind you to the most glaring terrible coaching

Absolutely...no ability to adjust.  The whole bar saw every empty backfield they were rushing 6..  he never adjusted the protection.

How you’ve missed the obvious all season is beyond me.

How about some passes over the middle? The sideline passes failed ALL year long. Total misuse of Goederts talent

Your Hurts love is blinding you.   He scores on QB sneaks and you think he is the greatest...lol.

Dude needs the play call to be perfect or he can't do anything.

They didn’t always rush 6. Even 5 got pressure. But why did we just bail on rushing straight to empty sets in the first place? Everything already screwed up to become so one dimensional and obvious.

We should have used Goedert like they did Otton and I warned y'all about this before the game. Not tooting my horn, but jebus even I can see this crap,it's simple football

He doesn't audible .... they rush an extra guy, he has no time.   That's on him to adjust.

But he grew up playing QB to where he could out run everyone.   The mental part wasn't necessary.

They rushed 6 every empty backfield like clockwork
