We had no choice but stick to rushing the ball. Couldn’t win otherwise. So giving up on it killed any chance we had. Couldn’t block…or get open…but just telegraph a passing only O with our weakest targets available all season. Talking about it was possible with 45 year old Julio even. But him going down just should have made things clear we couldn’t just go one dimensional passing O. Dumbest coaching. Gameplan and playcalling that nobody could overcome.

Blaming QB1 for first down runs creating second down and 12. Screen pass plays called gaining nothing all game. Playing a D wanting to blitz. Coaches just went empty backfield and one dimensional. Show me one play a Buc defender took a single wrong step towards defending the run instead of just total confidence he was in pass coverage?

The loss to AZ was about all I needed to see. I expected a wake up call, but nope didn't do diddly. We lost to the Gnats too LOL. How pitiful

2 out of 3 today in Philly.   Sixers have Tyrese Maxey Quarterbacking the offense.     Flyers have a new QB on their power play...   and the Eagles have Hurts.   It is what it is.

IDK should Siri have pulled Hurts after the bonehead safety? I mean does it get much worse?

Dude looked like a deer in headlights all night...that was the play where the deer got run over.  Just brutal.   Decision making very high school level.

Fourth down playcall of just heave to DeVonta beating double coverage is what was coached. Pass hit DeVonta in the hands. Only chance our O had. But shouldn’t a NFL coach have any more options? Embarrassing level of O. Every team was on our targets…way too often. Like really good players like Devonta, Goedert and AJ…not getting open against regular defenders. That predictable play calling. Not one game. Not one matchup. Not some scheduling short week. Every week. A very potentially potent O so clearly held back by coaching. Never looked organized. Never put all our talented pieces together in one game. Just individuals making plays. Blitz playcalling was idiotic. Blame the QB for not changing posts to work. But why is the QB fault for such consistent dumb playcalls? But can’t adjust protection to pickup a blitzer with a RB when you go empty backfield. Swift as a pass catcher should have been out big playmaker this game. But take him out for OZ, Quez and Stoll? Whats that accomplish? Swift the actual weapon and threat. But even just watched our Oline look bad. No running lane ever did they create. What happened there? A few penalties on the Oline didn’t help matters either. But pass blocking was not up to level expected. Missing a free rusher on a five man rush? Getting beat often straight head to head matchups. Dickerson more than once was pushed back into Hurts. Oline was really bad. Screwed up assignments. Didn’t run block. Penalized. Didn’t give any time to throw the ball.

Hurts sucks,OC needs to go, haven't like the play calling all year(with few exceptions). DC I still have no op on, because we gave him worse players than we gave Schwartz. Almost every player underperforming is not a good look. We deserved to lose this game because we have shown we cannot run with the big dogs

Yeah, but with Hurts basically losing the game IDK if a change would have been worse. Any Jr high QB knows not to take a safety in your own EZ

We can't pass with the big dogs either.   But we can QB sneak with the best of them.

On the bright side pick #32 moved up the list LOL

Probably even below the junior high level.   But....when you can just run away your whole life...you don't necessarily learn the mental part.

With all of the above it would not shock me to see Siri fired

We pick in front of Dallas...lol

How can you overboard focus investing Oline and not mention their performance is crazy to me. Rusher never got out if the backfield before getting hit. Hardly a pass thrown not under pressure. Can’t invest so massively at a position group and not have them fail to dominate. But they didn’t come close to dominating. Oline was a huge weakness. Can’t spend everything on the Oline and expect to win anything when they get abused and fail the entire game. Swift and Hurts faced Buc defenders quickly in the backfield every play. I don’t know what happened to them. But they were overwhelmed and confused.

Not that I am in love with Mariota, but the game was on the line and despite paying the guy, sometimes to WIN the game you have to make the tough calls and Siri didn't. Of course Lurie would be furious but we are getting our arse kicked anyhow

Idk how they spin it....it's a bad look to fire a guy that you tried to look like the smartest guy in the room 3 years ago in hiring...he gets 3 years in the playoffs.... 14 and 11 wins the last 2 years?

Who would want the job???

Cunningham, Hurts made no adjustments. You cannot vindicate his poor performance ALL on coaching. Coaching sucked, but he has the ability to make protection changes on any play.
I think I saw one, maybe two people in motion today. Real puzzler to figure out this pathetic offense. Hurts did not make Julio look good. C’mon. I loved the year the team had last year. I apologized for my criticism of Hurts. This year he has not made up for the coaching deficiencies at all. Coaches, or new ones, and players, definitely SOME new ones, have to do better. Really poor showing by all tonight, including Hurts.

This is what Lurie wanted....smartest guy in the room.

Why was he running from defenders every play in the first place? He should have got rid of the ball. But for him to be in that position screams others already screwed up badly. Nowhere for him to go with the ball. So he focused on not throwing the had pick. Just several bad decisions was all Hurts faced there.

Let's look at those 3 years. First 2 easy schedules. This year we had an easy schedule the first 9-10 games. When crunch time hit, this team was not prepared at all

He got taken for 250 million because of it

You watched different football than I did. Mariota wasn’t changing things. No QB was. Mahomes could have overcome what this team provided.

I agree....my point,  who would want the job?   Dude got fired after winning 3 seasons...3 playoff seasons...after the 2020 season.  2 new coordinators.

Why would anyone good want the job is my point?

We only have 8 plays

He won't pat anywhere close to that.
