I think the play took a tremendous toll on our QB1. Not sure how you can even deny the abuse to Hurts body that took place on these plays. Wasn’t just the opponent he had his own guys shoving on him and his back…falling on him.

Not a fan of the RPO.I made that well known all year. Establish the run,then use play action(different than RPO) RPO is lame college ball. not saying to abandon it,but it should be a change of pace,not the standard IMO. We hardly used any motion plays. Just 8 plays on offense. boring,predictable and defensable

I didn’t deny anything the original comment had nothing to do with Hurts but you just have to add him in everything it’s annoying as F to hear you jock ride hurts on everything.

You make everything about hurts it’s getting old. 

Hurts doesn’t get credit for the shove as much as you want him to get it Hurts also doesn’t take direct hits on the shove so no the toll isn’t anywhere near as bad on him as the guy upfront blocking… or like Cam Superman diving over to score TDS 

Hurts was below avg. QB this year that only looked half way decent because of the tush push that should go to the OL not him 

And yes I’ve been in an actual scrum before as well and I’d 100000000000% rather be the guy behind the big guys upfront

I thought we just were acknowledging the toll it took on key players bodies for us this season. Dickerson, Kelce,Jurgens, Hurts…..our own guys might be secretly wishing the play gets outlawed.

No it was Kelce talking about the play hence why inside Kelce didn’t name the other player didn’t name other OL or QBs….

Agree...I didn't say you said anything...I simply stated my opinion.   Should ...is what you said and I agree.  But we both know should ...rarely happens...especially with our Eagles.

Yes...but in this instance with Hurts ....as with Wentz... they won't release him until the dead money is less than it costs to keep him.   Wentz trade actually opened up $500k or so of cap space...plus the picks.     Need to wait until at least it's close.  I could see Lurie getting another QB...but won't release Hurts any time soon with the negative cap space.    

I don't look at just " dead " money.  That doesn't tell the whole story.   It's the result in what the move will do to the cap.   Wentz actually saved net cap space.... will  a while for that with Hurts.
