Hurts regression was as ugly as it gets. He showed lots of promise last year for a better season this year(and got paid for it) then his play fell off as often times happens with the big money. He didn't earn his pay this year. He can beat easy teams but when the good ones come along he fails miserably

But did he regress?    Was he showing you last year that he could best the blitz or roll left and complete passes effectively?  Was he changing plays etc?

Idk... I saw a fairly easy schedule.  Guys were wide open with bad D, jump balls seem to be constantly caught.

Can you rely on bad competition, your WRs always getting 50-50 balls...and your coordinator always scheming the first read open.

Progression...I thought I actually saw some better throwing.

The regression?   What did you see of basic skills last year that were so much better than this year?  You saw results from brutal competition.  And he ran the ball more effectively... that's the huge part of his game.   Take that away and what do you have?

Hurts lost the team, remains to be seen if he can get them back, "We need to be better" needs to STOP the words are empty if you can't DO IT. STFU and show me on the FIELD

The cliches are hilarious.  I'm sure we will see more.

Decision making -TERRIBLE. Throwing into blocked passing lanes(tips/picks). Not running the ball with intensity, aka falling down like a little wussie girl. Taking unneeded sacks all season(not throwing the ball away). Missing wide open receivers for easy gains aka not seeing the field aka 1 read. He ran the ball more effectively due to the tush push being used constantly. Underthrowing deep balls. When you don't see receivers waving their hands in the air because they are open you have blinders on

No it was Kelce talking about the play hence why inside Kelce didn’t name the other player didn’t name other OL or QBs….

but you didn’t bring up other key players either you only added Hurts

Kelce took that abuse not Hurts

This is why I brought hIm up. Seems to be a total lack of awareness to the abuse that play was putting on many of our players.

In the early stages of the Eagles' skid, Hurts was hoping the direction of the offense would change, the source familiar with Hurts' thinking said," McManus wrote. "He believed they were overly reliant on vertical routes and not utilizing short-to-intermediate throws, particularly over the middle of the field, where [A.J.] Brown has thrived in his career. In short, the belief was there was too much flash over substance -- a sentiment others on the offensive side of the ball shared."

"a source described Johnson as having to fit his own philosophy within an offensive structure belonging to Sirianni."

Mike Tomlin had Kenny Pickett and then Mason Rudolph make the playoffs. Then with the third string QB and without their All World pass rusher gets them to win three games and make the playoffs. Not looking nearly as bad as us in their playoff loss either.

Harbaugh isn’t coming here. So the top two coaches available are Bellicheat and Vrabel. Very interesting choice. So deep a comparison is very interesting. Vrabel learning from the Patriot Way.

We aren’t talking about a coach winning it all here ten years from now. Which coach will win the SB next two years here?

News on Siri will likely break today maybe tomorrow since he is reportedly having his exit interview with Lurie.

Image the decision will be made to keep him or move on

Top two coaches based on what I do think Vrabel a top coach but realistically thinking he would prefer LA v us.

As for belicheat I’d pass don’t think he is a top coach anymore and he will likely want full control and that isn’t happening so he isn’t even an option Harbaugh is more likely to leave Michigan to be our coach.

The other top coaches with Vrabel are Slowik or Ben Johnson in my opinion. And I prefer Slowik over Johnson

Kelce wasn't too fond of the "Tush Push," as he said he would always yell, "F--k my life!" when running the play.

This not shocking big ass rugby scrum just brutal and physical play no doubt was tough on Kelce the guy in the middle

Shown me again Ham where this comment had anything to do with Hurts when you had to add and hurts

Full of crap you brought up hurts before any of those comments

You bring up Hurts then we bash him because you keep trying to give him credit he doesn’t deserve and it even worse when you bring him up when the comments have nothing zero to do with him

And again the level of abuse Kelce and the OL took on the tush push and way worse then anything Hurts dealt with it…. Go get in a scrum and tell me you rather be the big guys up front I’d take Hurts job any day of the week v Kelce.

Yes it’s football level of physical abuse on Hurts on every play like every other player in the nfl but no what Hurts was dealing with was nothing close to Kelce being in the middle of it all without big 300lb guys shielding him

Sounds like Bellicheck acknowledged his shortcomings some what as a GM. Was willing to give that power up to stay with Pats.

What about pete carroll?

I don't want Harbaugh here. I will stop being an Eagles fan if that happens. he is currently with his lawyers hammering out job protections from the NCAA for "probes" into wrongdoing. Now if you did nothing wrong why would you need to do that?:

Don’t really follow enough college football but what did Harbaugh even do?

Didn’t Pete Carroll also face trouble from NCAA before jumping ship to Seattle?

Don’t what to make of the Pete situation I heard he was going up stairs in an advisory role for Seattle…. Not opposed to Carroll though

Yeah, but it's just a nicety,if he was up for a coaching job he would leave that position

He was using people at games to spy  from the stands to read calls from the other team. Why he was suspended for 3 games. Apparently there is more because he hired lawyers now and is seeking "job protection" from additional probes. he is trying to cut a deal with the NCAA,not a good look

The Seahawks lured him away from USC in 2010 with the promise of final say in personnel moves, something he didn't have in either of his two previous head-coaching stops. Carroll, who also held the title of executive vice president of football operations, teamed with Schneider to lead the Seahawks through their most successful run in franchise history.
