Glenn Schumann as a possible DC…. Already have numerous Georgia bulldogs on the roster he should know how to best utilize them

Nick Sirianni will meet with owner Jeffrey Lurie and will be expected to have a plan for how he is going to improve the Eagles. This will include a pitch on potential new coordinators and assistant coaches, per sources. This is why coaches around the league have been contacted.

Jeffrey Lurie likely wants Nick Sirianni to come to their exit meeting with what he considers a strong list of coordinator and assistant candidates.

Three years ago, Doug Pederson did not meet the #Eagles owner’s expectations and was let go.
Howie Roseman helped facilitate previous coordinator and assistant hires for Andy Reid, Chip Kelly, Pederson and Sirianni partly because he has many contacts around the league with agents and coaches.

Both Eagles GM Howie Roseman and HC Nick Sirianni have been reaching out to available NFL coaches and coordinators, as well as coaching agents across the league to evaluate potential coordinator candidates to join their coaching staff as they plan for the 2024 season.

So Siri is staying

And 3 years ago Ped took the Jags from trash to competitive

Hire Pete Carroll as DC,no wait, never mind,he is the wrong color. No round 3 pick for him if you lose him later. My bad

Sounds like Lurie wants a fully laid out plan of action from Siri which includes possible coordinator hires before making a decision.

Well he wouldn't consult Siri if he was out. Howie has the connections not Siri

Saying the meeting is now Thursday

"The report from NFL Network also says if Sirianni is open to changes, he'll likely stay. But if Lurie doesn't approve of his plan, "a different outcome could result."

One is our own,the other is the Saints pick. Round 2, I like Trotter at LB and TJ Tampa, the CB for Iowa State. But once again will Howie pull that trigger. He needs to do it

He would do it 2nd round.

One of the worst HC decisions ever had to be changing our DC after a 10-1 start…. And undermining the guy even before that giving 3rd down play calling to Patricia.

By all means Desai unit wasn’t great and maybe you should have fired him but not after being 10-1

That was a bad look.  Panic.

I agree...I think Sirianni either stays... or gets fired.   That's phenomenal insight from today's media.

It " could" happen..  great reporting.

Besides this captain obviois reporting.... I'm curious how they know all this?  Would Lurie leak to anyone but Howie what the intentions are?   Would Howie tell this reporter?

Would the secretary tell the gossip...would the janitor spill the beans?

Because it's a really great strategy to leak this stuff. 🤦

Postponed the usual end of year meeting between Siri and Lurie. Coaches gotta go. Just how far the reach depends on if Siri can blow Lurie away with incredible coaching hires.

It’s supposedly happening today but who knows but definitely looking like Siri will return but the coordinators will be out the door

Absolute joke! To be honest I thought Lurie was a guy who wanted to succeed but I’ve got to question that if he brings back Sirianni.

Well apparently this is the same approach they had with Doug… Lurie didn’t like Doug ls plan moving forward and decided to part ways…

Well let’s hope he comes to the same conclusion here then.

https://www.spotrac.com/news/nfc-east-2024-offseason-financials-2117/?ct=t(EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_1_3_2022_16_10_COPY_26)    We're not in bad shape really, but we need an excellent draft that FILLS HOLES and that includes at WR and the secondary. We need to pick our fights in FA because we are going to need a load of players and Howie will need to spend on some top onesw at key postitions instead of going for "cheap". But really not many on the list I am dying to keep around

I think the "want to" had been replaced by NEED to. Both Trotter and Tampa would be excellent picks.Of course neither addresses the S spot, that needs overhauled and I will assume some investment in 1-2 FA's. he needs to be aggressive getting some S's in

Once again if Siri had a plan it should have been implemented in week 13. If he had a plan we would not have been blown away by AZ or the gnats if he wanted to ensure his continued employment. After going 1-6 having a plan is a little late

We're not in bad shape really,

We are in pretty rough shape can argue we need just about every spot on D side of the ball… S,CB, LB, Edge, even DT.

Ideally some young guys will step up to fill voids but Davis at DT been disappointing only guy we seem to have is Carter…really nothing behind Sweat/Reddick at edge neither guy is all that young….LB is a mess even when Dean is healthy… Slay/Bradberry looked old, S Blankenship is good but couldn’t stay healthy, Brown looked promising but now he will be recovering from ACL going into next season so how much will he really develop.

That’s just the D side of the ball then you can say we need RG possibly C depending on we feel about Jurgens taking over(assuming Kelce retires) depth at WR, TE could argue we need a RB swift is a FA I believe

I’m not arguing this I’m just relying the info that is coming out lol.

besides not much you can change at that stage of the season not like we could put in a new offense at that stage

I was one of the first to say Siri should be gone after the end of season collapse but I don’t make those decisions so I’m looking at both sides of it.

possible coordinators if we keep Siri and possible HC if we fire him
