If the players can't tackle you drill them until they can. That is the HC's job. And why could they tackle before but not down the stretch?

I just get new players.  That's what I would do for 2024.   By the way...what year is it now?

Did it fall apart though.   Many questioned it was ever that good in the first place.

Yeah, that's why I wanted to see that "tough stretch" We played well the first 2,then crapped our pants on the other 4

Getting new players is not a plan,we do that annually

So sorry,I know you want to look ahead to 2024,but seriously you need to look back on 2023 and ask if you want the same thing in 2024 new players or not. We lack basic football skills IMO. Continued to run plays that failed EVERY time. You want that in 2024 also?

The head coach and GM leading the way...will be up to Lurie.

Clearly as all of us had said numerous times and yet we still all have our opinion on if we keep said HC and even GM

As I keep saying,IDC if we lose some games to better teams. if we play well and lose,I have nothing to say,but playing like trash is not what I expected. The blowout in TB was simply embarrassing for Lurie. Stupid decisions like going for 2 when you had the game within reach. All that crap affects the players. They lose confidence and you get blown out. IDK if I want that in 2024

You do know tackling is coachable????

But that is Luries call. I hope he makes the right one. The offense was flat, the plays calls were awful, the players can't tackle. The buck stops with Siri

Siri did well last year because we had the talented players to get it done DESPITE him. This year we lost some players and it shows Siri can't work without top notch talent. JMO

With basically the same offense as last year we dropped down to 25PPG from 29. That is going the wrong direction. I'm sure there are numerous reason and places to point fingers, but those are the facts, the offense didn't get it done. 4 points doesn't sound like alot but that is 68 points less that last year. Not going in the right direction

When AJ Brown gets 8 yards in a game total, your plans STINKS. You can do 1 button hook for more yardage

Here's a plan, how about using Goedert correctly? How about some production from the slot? We have Quez,Zach,Covey.,Julio and nobody can produce from that? That should have been adjusted long ago

Because logically.... a coach who just had 3 winning seasons... with basically a bad start to year 1 and bad finish to year 3.... all those games won between the middle of year 1 and week 12 of year 3....   a couple of coaching changes and a bunch of new players...

That has zero chance to work?

It’s the way this thing fell apart though with no change or no answers. And the way the players just gave up. Look maybe Sirianni can turn it around but I just don’t see it.

Rant over

Not a fan of the safety we brought in....too soft. Coming in acting like the expert .   " pointing out the problems" etc.  From what experience?  Not a winner... brutal tackler... nothing special in coverage.

You bring in an outside guy that starts talking about things wrong...then things go south right then. Logic tells me it's part of the issue.  He has to go.

Sucks with Brown injury...but now we hope they get some young depth at S...and this CB they signed from the Colts who was suspended...could also help.

Hungry players at DB...not 3 vets that look to pass blame and don't give effort.

Talk on radio about Hurts demeanor and leadership.   Former players...not the dorks that haven't played anything but Dungeons and Dragons that host most of the shows.

Ike Reese, Jon Ritchie...etc.  Ike talking about how they saw a different side of Reid... saying that's what the players need to see from Hurts,  not the quiet stoic guy that doesn't show emotion.   Talk is that's why Siri has to be the way he is, because Hurts is too much the opposite.

Well let’s hope he comes to the same conclusion here then.

Lost the team. Just don’t see how he can resurrect things unless he really finds big time coordinator hirings.

Same issues we heard with Wentz... you go from being the young kid that's humble... role changes and you have to adapt.

We know the 4 leaders on the team...Kelce, Lane, Graham and Cox... not going to be here forever.   The culture shift needs Hurts to step up in that role.

That's to me the biggest thing going forward.  For these next few years anyway when we know Hurts is locked in as the guy.

Nah…Siri is too emotional for a HC. But seems leadership right now wouldn’t keep trying to mask the heavy problems the players have been dealing with.

I think the thing that gets missed.   He lost the 2023 team.  The idea is the 2024 team isn't going to be the same group.

With all the meetings and information that Lurie gathers... he should be able to figure out who was all lost etc.  If it's 4 or 5 players that were the catalysts...and they aren't in the plans going forward...then it solves some of the issue.

This isn't a 2023 run it back or do over.  It's a whole new team and direction.  Was going to be that way regardless. Sure some of the same pieces ate going to be here...but it's different.

I assume Doug wasn't fired for 2020 results. More to it.  And again,  as an Eagles fan we have to keep in mind history of the organization and the owner.  How they do things

I agree they did a great job masking Hurts issues in the locker room all year

That’s not why therewere constant steady rumblings coming from the players about how predictable and long developing the plays were.

Offense was unimaginative

Who masked the issues with the roster.  Regardless of if you all like the coach...retread mediocre guy from Tennessee... retread 6 time former SB winner ..  a passing game coordinator..promoting the OL...first ever female coach....won't matter.  Need the roster " fixed"

Long developing routes with empty backfield sets ….all while blitz was highly anticipated.
