SO Ruggs is killing JJ? Nope Jeudy? Nope. Lamb? Nope One could argue Aiyuk and Mims are on par with those(not round 1 picks) So whatever. I think we have more pressing issues on offense

Too early to make any kind of full evaluation on those players ... they are 6 months into their NFL careers.  Imagine how sweet it would be to land a Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones, etc that were top 10 picks.

Although Howie really screwed the pooch last year ... could have had our Calvin Johnson but took JJAW instead of ... well you know.  I’d add an "lol” but it is too painful to be funny.

Get the sense that JJaw pick was a heavily influenced by Joe Douglas who liked the highly productive college players ie Barnett, Pump, JJaw etc.

But think we all wanted Metcalf especially when he fell into the 2nd oh well

JFC Killns back on the PS. he has a revolving door at the linc

No but likely better odds of hitting on a stud in top 10.  But man when you swing and miss that early (Kevin White, Justin Blackmon, Tavon Austin, ... ) ... ouch.

JJ lol. Don;t know. What matters to me is "what are the odds we can develop the players we choose"? I feel that's pretty low

One interesting note from Doug's press conference was that Hurts hasn't worked at all with Jeffery, and has a lot more time with JJAW, Hightower and Watkins since they were working with the second team. So we may (hopefully) see Jeffery inactive Sunday and more snaps for the young guys.

If we don't play Fulgham we are all kinds of stupid

LOL OH JJ is leading in every category 6 months in as a rook, doesn't seem too terribly early to me to evaluate he is a stud. IDK maybe you are watching different film Hard for me to buy he will go downhill from this point. Of course injury could derail him,but he's just getting STARTED

Here is my question when it comes to Jefferson... Do we seriously think he has half the production he has now here in Philly???

Not trying to knock the player at all but with how Wentz has played on top of the poor coaching and play calling. Hate to say it was probably a blessing for Jefferson not to land here.

I mean I’m looking at Fulgham who for what a 5 week stretch was one of the most productive WRs in football... And maybe it was #1 CBS following him, team not using him etc. we found ways to make him disappear

Also look at Reagor and how poorly we have used him makes me feel like we would do a terrible job with any rookie WR.

we motion Reagor what feels like every snap Ds don’t respect it because we literally do nothing from it.

If we are going to motion Reagor like that get the ball in his hands, jet sweeps, quick flat passes set up a screen, wheel routes send multiple looks from that one motion to attack Ds with Reagor

Minnesota has a healthy, largely experienced oline, a great running game, an experienced wr1 in Theilen and a qb who is halfway decent. Plus an offense that is pretty well designed.

Philly has used 10 different oline combinations, and are on their third string right and left tackles and their third string guard, none of whom were locks to be on the team at the beginning of the season. Our qb is a mess and for a while our best pass targets were two guys (Ward and Rodgers) who were scraped off the bottom of the scrap heap.

I think if we get better oline play, better qb play and better playcalling, we can then start to judge the wrs. But as for right now, I can confidently say that Jefferson would be struggling here. Look at Hightower. He should have 10 catches of over 40 yards and a bunch of TDs by now. But we can't even come close to getting him the ball deep.

Basically what I been saying lol... Will be interesting to see Hurts and how much of this O struggles could have been Wentz.... If Hurts is dreadful and the O is still terrible think we need to ease up some on Wentz lol

Final injury reports are out for the game.

Edwards is probably the only notable player out for us. Peters was a liability and Jacquet is a "break glass in case of emergency" type player.

I want to see what Bradley can do, and the team may play him if they start running the ball a lot. Riley is pretty bad against the run and Bradley is somewhat fast.

Slay will play but may not be 100 percent. If that's the case they should probably just sit him and shift Mills to the outside and rotate Epps and Wallace at SS.

With the exception of Brees, the Saints are absurdly healthy. Robinson won't play, and their DT Brown is out as well, but everyone else is a go.

One thing to note is that the Saints are somewhat old on defense, and their starters play a ton of snaps. This will be true this game as their primary backup DE has battled injuries all year. So if we can keep them on the field, they may wear down.

IDK wonder what Reagor would do in Minnesota??

I thought it was weird that I heard he has worked with Reagor a bunch. Unfortunately that means Wentz wasn’t.

Don't worry. A WR from LSU, who was demonstrably better than Jefferson in many ways is coming out this April. Ja'Marr Chase is the prize this year. Oh, and the best part is that Howie will definitely...uh....wait....oh yeah....never mind.

The weird part would be they are admitting getting rid of Nagy first. You would think he would be an extra connection to bring him in the fold.

Why is "trade Wentz" showing up in every thread? The $$$ says NO TRADE and NO RELEASE until after 2022. That's 2 more full years of Wentz on the roster before they can absorb the hit. He'll be here next year and the year after. Accept it. This team is not taking a 34 Million dollar (or even more) hit.

A look at Herbig at RG.

Nate Herbig vs Packers 2020 - YouTube

I really liked what I saw from the all 22 and this video reinforces that. The one thing that stood out is that Herbig is big, but he isn't slow. The Packers were trying to beat him by lining up a DE inside, and he was fine. He is also a ton better than he was in the first game of the year against the Redskins, when he struggled to pick up games run by the defense.

The one issue we are going to have is Driscoll at RT. The Saints have two big DEs who collapse the pocket really effectively. I am not worried about Mailata, as the one thing he doesn't have an issue with is bigger DEs. But Driscoll has to stand his ground. Having Herbig next to him should help, as they worked together really well against the Packers.

If Hurts plays well and some team is willing to give up more than a #1 draft pick for Wentz (say a #1 and #4) do we say no to that? Sure. he has a big cap hit. But you get two draft picks and don't pay him anything in 2022.

But they have to be blown away by an offer to trade him. He's not going anywhere for a second round pick.

The breaking the birds videos are really pretty good.

I didn't like this guy when i first saw his videos but he's really spot on with his analysis

IDK take what you can pick wise and get him off the books, if that's what we need to do. But we have a LONG way before that. All this is on Hurts now

With no O line a WR first is a waste of time
