Nice to see the ground game 16 runs to 21 passes yea I know some were designed passes that Hurts ran but still way more useage  of the ground game then usual

Also wonder to see rollouts and variations on successful scheme designs all things we didn’t seem to do with Wentz

Up 17-0 shouldn’t complain against the #1 D at that

Yeah I have the Saints D and Kamara and both are killing me

I mean.... if hurts is lighting it up let him light it up

This is a legit contender we are beating right now

No secondary,everyone out lol

yeah gotta let him go

Now we get to see if Hurts can respond not having the game going his way

We will lose if we give up the running game. Seems that is the plan lol

Keep grinding keep running we should be fine we are getting 3-5 yards a touch that good running right there

So far from what I’ve seen Hurts the passer still needs some work but the added boost from his legs makes him worth it.

OL play still has some effect on the QB as well some plays there really is just no time

I want the fourth pick. This is disastrous!

Hurts was a run first QB in college. If the Saints are smart they set the edge and collapse the inside pocket forcing hurts to throw within the pocket. We saw the Packers adjust a bit to this after Hurts first drive and we saw the result of some poor throws including a pick. Saints will be more prepared since they knew he was the starter and can go back on some college tape. Im expecting a avg day 50ish completion rating, 70 range QB rating with mid 150 range passing yards, 60+ rushing.

Looks like I called it pretty well

57 completion rating, 167 passing yards, 100+ rushing. I was off on the QB rating. I said 70 range, he landed at 83

Yes Dougie, there is a running game!

I hoped Hurts would play well but we would lose. cHam says the fourth pick...from the fourth we could move up if we needed to...Not a surprise Hurts beating a top ranked Saints D. I said it earlier that we would beat the Saints if Peedy came with a good game plan and ran the ball. Hell what do we know?

We're gonna beat the Saints with our rookie QB...because,  EVERYONE says we're gonna lose.... If Peedy calls his best game all season and RUN the f..in ball. Will Peedy give Hurts a winning game plan? I want to see Hurts play his best game... I can't believe I'm saying this... I want my Birds to play well, but lose ... ALL the remaining games it about positioning ourselves to get a top pick. I need us to lose...but I think Hurts can shock the Saints and win...I know...I'm Looney Tunes huh...Looney Tunes...🙃🙄🤐

This was my earlier blurb...Hell what do I know? Fortunately the other NFC teams won except the G men.Guess I am not as looney as I imagined.

I thought it was STUNNING  the LACK of urgency Sean showed at the end when they were down 2 scores. That's not like him at all. Weird. I also believe the Saints recovered that onside, but we owe the game to Riley prying it away under the pile

IDK with over 100 yards rushing ,he wasn't passing from the pocket

He has a few nice passes from the pocket but we definitely moved Hurts a ton got him out the pocket

Lost 2 more CB"s and a S. We have no players in the secondary, but those guys did a nice job off the bench, those no names

He was forced out some, not a called play. He bought time, but didn't force the pick like Wentz was doing (how long have I said if the play is not there to THROW IT AWAY?) Hurts did that. That's intelligent ball

A really nice, unexpected win. It's kind of bittersweet as we hurt our draft position, but I guess we are still alive for the playoffs.

Hurts being able to run really opens up our offense. He has to show he can throw it a little better, but for his first start it couldn't have gone better.

The line played well. That is a tough front four, and a solid defense overall. We struggled with the blitz, but Hurts was able to bail them out with his legs.

On defense, Slay and Maddox going out probably helped us, as Slay hasn't been healthy for the last three games. Seymour had some bad moments but it's not like we aren't used to crap corner play. Sanders did make a phenomenal catch. Mills is an upgrade over Maddox, and it's nice for Wallace to get reps. Epps seemed to fill in for McLeod pretty well.

Duke Riley has been quietly really good, and Singleton was once again dependable. He got beat on a TD but the coverage was good. Our linebacker play has been night and day from the beginning of the year.

It's kind of nice looking forward to the all 22 for once.

As far as the rest of our season, if we win out, and Washington loses one other game in addition to the one against us and the Giants lose one more game, we are in.

I think the Cardinals are beatable. So I guess one game at a time.

Tough injury situation from this game. Maddox, Slay, McLeod, Malik, Barnett and Sweat

EAGLES WIN! It is nice to say that again. Jeffery remembered how to catch all of the sudden. The defense played over its head. Give Hurts credit. He played a very good game.

I disagreed with some here. Early in the game (first offensive series) when Ped chose to go for it on 4th down and they didnt make it, many here said it was a bad decision. Why? You are playing the conference leaders and your record is 3-7-1. It is early in the game with no score. I loved it! There is no guarantee the kicker will make it. I am amazed that coaches dont use all 4 downs more often.

I did not like that Hurts didnt check out of the QB sneak on 4th down when the Aints put 3 large bodies right in front of him, but I liked the decision to go for it. The team has sucked all year. What do you have to lose? NOTHING!

The TEAM played better. Everybody elevated their play.

One more thing i will disagree with many here is the play of Slay. I think he is a very good CB.
I really hope that McCloud is ok. He has played very well all year.

One last thing, I am really glad Fletcher Cox is an Eagle. Man that guy is a stud.

4th down calls.. We went from 58% conversion to 37% conversion. The math tells you to kick the FG. SO I still don't like the call.Being it's early in a game like that going against the #1 seeded team, you should take the points to reward your team. of course if you make it,you're a hero,if you miss, you suck, but the smart decision was to kick the ball in a stadium your kicker knows JMO, so we will agree to disagree
