I’m sorry to be successful running you have to be willing to run... 1st and 9 isn’t end al be all that you have to throw it twice plenty of team will run it again and gain 5-6 plus yards. Running the ball is a commitment you have to wear teams Down

Ok so your whole argument is about two...maybe three times we could have run the ball in the second half but we passed? On long down and distance situations at that.

And Sanders missing blocks and catches was the reason we didn’t convert more first downs.

Ran it the first two plays of the second half(Sanders and then Wentz). Had third and long. Next drive Rodgers one pass play for a TD. Next drive ran for one yard on second down. Third and nine...gotta pass. Next series run by Sanders for one yard. Then Sanders dropped the catch. Third and nine...gotta pass. Then down by two scores in the fourth after that.

3rd and short failed pass but guess what two runs equal way esker chance at first down.

next drive failed pass on first down poor run on 2nd of course we have to pass its 3rd and long because of a failed first down pass if you ran twice again could be an easier 3rd

Next series after that was the safety drive when EVERYONE knew runs were coming and Sanders did what he could.

Next series after that you gave Sanders 1 run after what 5 passes.

Sorry I see a spaced out ground game we never have a chance to

Lmao 😂 except you run the ball those 3-4 times and you could gain more first downs all trickles no.... Missed blocks I don’t recall from Sanders isn’t he 2nd half... Sure dropped a first down catch on 2nd down 1 poor play let’s not mention how

We started one drive by passing to Rodgers on first down. TD. Next one we started with a pass we got a field goal. Then we were down by two scores and started the drive with an illegal format- ion penalty.

Or it could have ended up like all the other second have rushes by the RB...no gain...one yard gain

Had 4-5 drives we could have worked the ground game in and didn’t all I’m keep hearing is excuses for why we abandoned the run

Or it could have worked lol idk most of the time I’ve seen successful runs they were strung together rarely did they come from 1 carry here then another carry 5 plays later

Pick up more than one yard...better chance to try it again. That’s just the way it works. Only two drives it was realistic to run the ball one more time in the second half. So seems pretty petty argument to me. Rest of the season I think you could make a better argument.

You are trying to make excuses for the runs not working

No I seen a team that didn’t run your making excuses for why we had to pass though

So usually successful runs happen after a minus one yard run? Or a one yard gain rushing? Strike while the iron’s hot...I guess

Yes the obvious excuses. Only had five like five drives. The rushes stunk. Probably easier to make a case the running game killed our second half drives.

Lmao 😂 crap worked for the browns churning out 1-3 yard gains before busting out huge gain shocker what consistent running does

Five drives. Started the first one with two rushes. Scored on a one play passing TD drive on another. Rushed the first two downs on the other before the third down safety. After the first five drives we are down by two scores in the fourth. That definitely killed the running game.

  • Author

Once we went down by two scores in the fourth we stopped running. Went 8 plays for  65 yards. Then 8 plays for 47 yards and a TD. So the stats point more towards success passing in the second half than running.

SOOOOO, why did we get Howard? Was there a bench seat that needed warming?

That great we DIDNT run the first 5 drives lmao can I understand the logic once we are down the logic of abandoning the run before hand though I don’t which we did

I bet when the browns are sitting back giving up anything underneath I’m sure the pass is working in the 4th qtr. bet it looks nice on the stat sheet lmao

They only had a couple successful runs. All came after completing a first down by passing. Just to go by the facts...not fairy tale

Practice Squad...I don’t think he got that close. Think he had to sit in the stands next to a cardboard cutout.

But I just went through we ran it onfour of the five. The other being a one play TD pass drive. Rushed it the first two downs on two of the drives. Didn’t convert first downs. Just talking about fact and reality here.

Just false. Started two of the five by running twice

  • Author

Like I said one of the five was a one play TD pass. So really only four drives in the second half to run the ball. Started two of them with runs on first and second down.

  • Author

You have no argument. Like one first down we threw on you wanted a run. That’s really all you can make a case for. Unless your suggesting we should have run on third and long.

of which we actually got a field goal on that drive

Would have been the fourth pick with a loss. Now sit ninth after...?victory?
