Why does it seem like Reagor can’t be both a good WR and return man early in his career???? Lots of guys do it for Philly Djax is An easy one but Westy also did it.

Only 1 of top 5 picks in 2017 has option exercised thus far

Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns had his fifth-year option picked up, which was no surprise. The first pick of the 2017 draft might not be a superstar yet — fans probably know him better for something other than his play on the field — but he has been good.

The next four picks were rough.

Davis and San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Solomon Thomas (No. 3 overall) did not have their fifth-year options exercised. Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky and Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette haven’t heard from their respective teams yet but it would be no surprise if they’re declined too.

Vikings first-round WR Justin Jefferson: Every team that picked a receiver before me is 'going to pay'

After judge's ruling goes against USWNT, Joe Biden demands U.S. Soccer pay women's team equally

Reagor was obviously a more explosive athlete from the beginning

That’s just one of the jobs a playmaker like Reagor can potentially do for us. He’s versatile unlike Jefferson.

🤣

Line Reagor up at X,Z, Slot, out of the backfield, QB and returner
Jefferson line him up at slot and...uhhhhh

After the five years is up we will PAY them a new contract

When they generate the same revenue they should be paid the same

Would be really surprised if more people  did not tune in to the women than the men, know I did

Seems like everybody when  trying  to make a point about Dillard lumps in his RT sacks with the rest to make their point. He gave up 6.5 sacks. 3 were in that RT spot against Seattle. RT was a bad call. I thought so from the beginning. Didn’t make sense. So I refuse to count those against him. Now I’m not saying he looked great. But I give him the blame on 3.5 sacks. He also gave up a few QB hurries. A guy getting thrown to the fire coming in as a backup one game. Probably his worst game at LT. To me it’s not real damning. Thought he looked decent most of the time at LT. He has work to be done. But I don’t see the sky is falling. Get some game reps and improve. That’s all I expect from anyone. So let’s not let people shade the truth by adding up sacks from his failed RT experiment and acting like if he played a full season he would have given up thirty sacks. We are to smart to fall for those people’s agenda.

Now I think it’s right to have concern about his aggression and mentality. He needs thicker skin. Gotten toughen that up and put on his big boy pants. He needs to get mad/angry and play more violent. No reason a guy his size shouldn’t punish people. Definitely shouldn’t be on the bottom end of the punishment as much.

I wanted Hollywood Brown the speed WR. He went to the Ravens at our original first round pick. Really seems like that was the better call. The need was great last year for a WR and for speed. He would have been the missing link.

I think you can look at the strong Oline class this year and figure we could have got our replacement in the 2020 draft at T. Could have kept Peters one more year to mentor the rookie this year.

Hindsight seems to really show the wisdom in this thinking a year later.

Dalton to Dullaz

I agree with you on Dillard RT terrible call never once played RT in his career was always on the left. And he had growing pains at LT that should be expected from guys it overall looked decent

Agreed. I also think the reports of the eagles being unhappy with him are BS.

If they were they never would have let both JP and Big V walk

Exactly right. It’s not like Dillard has gotten worse during April

Also majority of our draft guys are still guys that Joe himself brought in can’t image Andy just hated the Dillard pick and we are just now hearing of it....  but generally believe there is some truths in stories so and they likely said something along the lines of we want to see Dillard get a mean streak to him and that was completely spun out of control

I think I read where they make more by %,so I suppose that will have to do.If you aren't happy with the pay, find another job.Makes me mad when people complain about $100,000 pay for playing a GAME

Kind of interesting Dullaz brought in Dalton.IMO he can start,so I was surprised he took a BU job unless..........2 different type QB's.Kinda like what we have now with Hurts

LB from Detroit(forgot his name)-5th year not picked up.Schwartz has to be thinking about this

The common perception is that Dillard played well when he was at his normal position at LT in 2019, but faltered when he was asked to play at RT against the Seahawks. The reality is that he was also bad at LT.

Dillard got significant playing time in five games:

 Andre Dillard Snaps
 Vikings 47
 Cowboys 61
 Bills 73
 Bears 89
 Seahawks (at RT) 34

Despite only playing a total 343 snaps on the season (183 of which were pass blocking snaps), Dillard led the team in sacks allowed:

Player  *Sacks allowed  *Pass blocking snaps
 Andre Dillard 6.5  183
 Jason Peters 602
 Isaac Seumalo 2.5  763
 Halapoulivaati Vaitai 331
 "Everybody" N/A
 Jay Ajayi N/A
 Jordan Howard 44
 Dallas Goedert 65
 Miles Sanders 81
 Lane Johnson 454
 Jason Kelce 763

*Pass blocking snaps via ProFootballFocus, sacks-allowed tally via PhillyVoice.

Extrapolate those 6.5 sacks over a season in which he plays every snap (763 pass blocking snaps), and it's 27 sacks allowed.

It was easy to see in training camp that Dillard could move. Also in training camp, it was hard to miss an emotional outburst that occurred after a practice in which he and Derek Barnett got into a scrap. According to a source, that was only one of multiple such emotional moments that occurred during practice last season.

Dillard's biggest flaw as a rookie, by far, was his inability to anchor against power. If it doesn't get fixed, and opposing pass rushers know they can just bull rush him into the quarterback, it will likely be a fatal flaw for his NFL career.

The Eagles will be bringing Peters back this year for one very important reason. They believe they are contenders for a Super Bowl this year and if Dillard isn't ready to guard Wentz's blind side, it is hard to change position's on the fly as Peters could be playing for another team and not be available.

Did you see the report that when Wentz came off the field after Clowney tried to murder him, he sat down next to McCown, saw the NFL Playoffs logo, and asked McCown "are we in the playoffs?"
Like, holy heck, dude, how hard does your brain have to be rocked for that to happen?
