You spent big on Djax, Alshon, spent 2nd on Ertz, Geodart, Jjaw Sanders, firsts on AG and Reagor and still making excuses for why the O can’t produced lmao.

Then it’s oh well Djax got hurt he completely crippled our O in 19 after that so 1 player makes the entire offense apparently.

Wallace got hurt. Then DJax got hurt. Then Alshon got hurt. Then DJax got hurt. Then Reagor got hurt. So you can call it excuses like you did in the previous post about Sidney Jones. But yes, this season is full of excuses. All kinds of crap to deal with. But you saying Pedey and Wentz not working just isn’t what I’ve seen. Feeling out Wentz rookie year. Then MVP level second year. Let me repeat....MVP...coach of the year level performance. No RBs the next but still faired pretty well even though Wallace(big FA) was a nonfactor because of injury. Then Wentz and Pedey overcame a bunch to pull the team into the playoffs at the end of last season. Had to dink and dunk everything those two years...but did it and scored. Hardly call that a failure from Pedey and Wentz together.

They haven’t shown it tell me when Doug and Wentz have worked together not paired with Reich and Flip

Tell me when any coach was great not paired with other good coaches. But like I said....to finish last season. Already posted Wentz numbers last year. Over 4,000 yards is nothing to sneeze at. Doing it without a single WR getting 500 yards really shows their championship mettle. I think we win that playoff game last year over the Hawks if Clowney doesn’t have that clearly dirty hit.

Foles was also a really good RPO QB but his effect was felt more passing from it. Was really good at reading the D and making the quick throw out of it when needed. Hurts as you stated adds the boost with the threat of his legs have to account for him.

Wentz to me just doesn’t seem to fit with it seems to be better dropping back PA more traditional stuff.

That was our plan, a pocket passer like Rodgers. We were under the assumption we could protect him and had the weaponry for him, but that all failed. Injuries just added to the woes

To me it was expected that moving to an inexperienced OC would come with a learning curve. Think it was a terrible idea to fire Groh. Good coach. Like I said...our big FA Wallace couldn’t contribute anything. Was running with a Practice Squad RB as RB1. Still produced Wentz best QB rating that season(2018). Went for over 4,000 yards last year throwing to Greg Ward off the Practice Squad.   So not sure why Wentz and Pedey supposedly don’t work together?

Seems like the Cards don’t like the Mush Rush. Or it’s more about containing the short Murray in the pocket. Gotta be the gameplan this week.

I have to decide on Murray or Herbert in fantasy.Murray let me down, but you know as soon as you bench them, they go off lol

Seems like I wasn’t the only one that thought we could beat Seattle last year to win a playoff game. That was clearly due to Pedey and 11.

I’m sorry to say I don’t think it looks good for us. How can we try and contain Hopkins? Don’t think we can stop him with two guys. Fitz? Don’t think we can do much with him either. Kirk is the underrated burner. Feel a torching coming.

Pederson says he wants Wentz to be able to walk to the line and make calls/change calls. So Carson has been in charge of the offense a fair amount. They go over things during the week. Come up with the concepts. You obviously are going to get pretty specific on the opponents bread and butter plays. How we should attack it. These are the keys. Film study is huge. Probably especially with a cerebral QB like Wentz. Going over all the looks they’ve shown this season(and beyond). Playing out all the scenarios. So they call plays. But that isn’t nearly set in stone. It does dictate personnel packaging(Who’s on the field).

Why he hell would we rely on Wentz? Isn't that why he was replaced? yeah let's go beat that dead horse in the barn

So we found a "star" in Fulgham, so of course we need him to be benched and given a few plays only in relief. So now we have too MANY weapons???

Leaning that way also. I'm not too worried about passes out of the backfield, we effectively shut that down with Kamara, ok not "effectively" but we limited that impact. I suppose I will let it ride. he got me here and I am counting on him being better than Hill. Scooped up Herbert in case Murray got hurt. I still had a viable QB and as you pointed out, our secondary is "burnable"

Another issue is at RB. I have Robinson(jax)(and Kamara) in, but not a good match up for Robinson. The Ravens D should tighten this up after the heart attack game in Cleveland(although they did manage to run well against them) The option is to put Drake in vs us. I think we will need to stop something,so the running game I think we will hit, so although I hate the match-up Robinson it is and I suspect the cards will burn us when they want. But I think Kamara should do well vs KC, so I think he would make up that point difference with the Robinson match-up

I have a similar issue to Stine. I have both Samuel and Anderson and I believe Moore will come back this game. I am waiting to find out. If he does I will go with Samuel. Hard to know which of those 3 will go off. I will be dropping the Panthers D and hoping to get jarvis landry off waivers

Sadly I had Andrews at TE(Ravens) but injuries forced me to lose him. Goedert may give me a few points, maybe a TD

The league commish is a cheating POS. He has 3 teams in this league. Since the waiver process is NOT a snake(it goes by record) he takes all the good players left on the wire, even though he has no chance of winning, but I am kicking his arse in spite of that lol

I think it’s but more complicated. Fulgham kicked butt. But the book was out on him a little after he went on that tear. He’s dropped passes the last few opportunities as well. But nothing but young receivers limits the playcalls. The offense could be much more complex if we get it all rolling. You get Fulgham, Reagor,Hightower...whomever into their second and third seasons....they then should know the hot routes and all the adjustments. That’s a bunch to take in for rookies that were considered developmental in the first place. You develop a chemistry like Manning and Harrison...or Wayne. That takes years to get on those levels.

The offense should go like this: everybody reads the D. The Oline gets their protections called. Whether they are blitzing and how many are commited to blocking dictates RB and TE assignments(who to block or go out fit a certain pass route). If it’s an all out blitz...WR gotta read that. Break off routes for the hot read. Otherwise...read what coverage the D is in and adjust route accordingly. WR and Qb have to be on the same page. Example: Zone you hit this spot, man you do this, Cover Three this is the read.....and so on.
So this isn’t easily learned over some Zoom meetings before you start playing in the NFL. Takes a bit more than that.

12th ranked offense last year. Practice squad receivers. I’d say that’s a heck of a job by Pedey....and Wentz.

We just didn’t  have the weapons Kansas City has. Isn’t a coach going to get the talent we had to perform up to what they’ve been doing.

Here are the PS protections this week.

Philadelphia Eagles on Twitter: "Roster Moves: #Eagles have protected the following practice squad players: CB Jameson Houston RB Jordan Howard LB Rashad Smith T Prince Tega Wanogho https://t.co/uYeJ7qdfoD" / Twitter

Prince being on the list makes it almost a certainty he gets called up, and I think he will likely be added to the roster to replace Driscoll.

It is interesting they haven't protected Elijah Riley. He must be struggling in practice or hurt. The only thing I know about Houston is that he got roasted twice in the Sugar Bowl last year.

As an aside, Jacquet and Seymour give us two fast, tall corners, something we haven't had here in a long time. Jacquet is really raw, but has potential. Seymour's career has been sidetracked by injuries. But I like having guys who can run a little bit on the outside. I wouldn't mind both guys getting some playing time down the stretch. With McLeod out, we will likely be playing a lot of zone the rest of the year, and having bigger guys with range is better for that kind of defense.

Is Jacquet healthy?

Catch 22. he won't get to the point we want him riding pine

RPOs are quick passes it’s literally either handoff or pass quick not much to do with protections
