Pfizer and BioNtech partnered up to make this first one out here. Gotta be kept reallll cold(I’m sure you’ve heard). Moderna is getting approved now. Both have a ninety something percent efficacy rate. AstraZeneca has one also that’s seventy something percent effective. Russians have there’s. China has there’s. China isn’t under the strain we are of this pandemic so they are going to be supplying many countries.

Gotta understand this plays right in their hands. They will be the goodwill vac’sers(however you’d spell that). They have, and can, contain the pandemic much more in their country than the western world can. Africa, South America and the Middle East are in need. All these Asian nations and Pacific Islands are in need. Right through New Zealand and Australia. We will be all caught up on mostly vaccinating ourselves. China can afford to give more away. By give....we know I mean sell. But with the desperation going on....it will feel like a gift to even be able to buy it.

Elijah Riley promoted.

Philadelphia Eagles on Twitter: "Roster Moves: #Eagles have promoted DB Elijah Riley from the practice squad to the active roster and placed S Rodney McLeod on Reserve/Injured. Eagles have signed S Blake Countess to the practice squad. https://t.co/7fqa7xg05d" / Twitter

I like this move. I think if he had a chance to run at a pro day, there is a chance he would have been drafted. He has size and speed, and some really good college tape against Michigan.

Countess seems like he can offer some help down the stretch. He has been in camp twice with us and has some playing experience. We can call him up for the last two games, and if he shows something we can keep him around.

I like how Tomlin goes about business. They have the most dropped passes in the league(we are actually number two). So Tomlin benched Dionte Johnson for the first half after he dropped two passes. Then the kid came back and answered well. Benching can be a good tool if used correctly and fairly.

I said this and got bashed LOL

If they could contain it, how did it get out? Please don't buy the BS

Nice scam

Weaponize a virus

Spread it around the world.

Sell the vaccine

For you guys who don't know it's been the policy of the USA to equate a Biological, to a chemical, to a nuclear attack.

IMHO this is the reason everyone has been downplaying  the possibility that this is a weaponized virus as we no longer have biological or chemical weapons.

ASG, it was an attack. But it’s brilliant in there is no way to actually prove it.

That’s exactly the point of why it would be an attack. They closed down and locked down their city....but international flights? Continued

A somewhat full injury report.

Philadelphia Eagles (@Eagles) / Twitter

Driscoll is likely headed to IR, and Tega will most likely be called up this week. Then the guard we claimed from WFT will take his roster spot.

Hopefully Slay will be ready to go. Ford, Edwards and Jacquet appear on track to play. That gives us nine DBs (Slay, NRC, MIlls, Jacquet, Seymour, Wallace, Epps, Riley and Ford) which is hopefully enough. If Slay can't go we have some options on the PS.

I don't expect any other roster moves unless they open the practice window for DJax, as I think he's the only guy close to coming off IR. Craig James has been out a month, but who knows what is happening with him.

A good look at Hurt's throws and running plays.

Jalen Hurts vs Saints 2020 - YouTube

To me, the biggest takeaway is that this is a young offense playing against one of the best defenses in the league. Keep in mind, we had nine players under 25 on the field for a lot of snaps. So it was messy at times. Reagor made two mistakes on routes that led to incompletions. Goedert and Watkins ran into each other on another incompletion. Hurts and Reagor just missed on a deep out.

If those plays are run more smoothly, suddenly his day from a passing perspective goes from just okay to really good. Plus, this is the first team all season we have run many of these plays. The offense was completely different than it has been. When you hear people say "scheme players open," this is what they mean. So as we run these plays more, they will get better.

His pocket presence was really good. He found open guys consistently against a defense that threw a lot of different looks at him. His zone read decisions were excellent.

There is a lot to be excited about here. I am really looking forward to seeing how he does against the Cardinals.

Don't get me wrong, i hope Hurts is good, but we'd be singing a different tune had the Saints not dropped a probable pick 6.

I don't think anyone is claiming that wasn't a bad throw. But if one outcome determines how you look at a player, then why are you on a discussion board? That's the "Marcus Epps got hurdled in a game so he sucks" or "Jordan Mailata got beat in practice by Joe Ostman so he is going to be terrible in a real game" type of opinions that adds zero value to the discussion.

I wouldn't be singing a different tune if that play had gone badly, just as I wouldn't be calling him the next Patrick Mahomes if Reagor had made the catch on the deep throw.

YOu missed my point. Look at these boards this week. Hurts is the second coming of Jesus himself.

I'm just trying to slow down expectations to a reasonable level.

Go to EMB Blog 2020. They're not hard to find. YOu know where it is.

Yes, two turnovers is a different tune on things. Especially if it’s a pick six. Or if his fumble lead to a loss. I’d actually be happier because we’d have the fourth pick.

  • Author

Of coarse if he hits Reagor in stride instead....that really would have changed things also. One play can change everything. The Sanders 82 run would be a good example. Make that a no gain and how does everybody feel about everything?

COVID effect going to be magnified each week going forward now. Ravens are potentially down three WRs now.

What's a few million of their own people, when you can screw up the world and can influence a US election? Or have Chinese ho's sleep their way into US intel. A few million of their own is childs play. In fact, at times they abort females. No big deal to them. They have Nike and the NBA to worry about
