Taysom Hill was undrafted wasn’t he? Hurts is a second round pick.

The Saints played the Broncos with a WR at QB and ATL twice with Hill at QB. Falcons are one of the few lower(or higher depending on point of view) in the draft than us. None of those games would be considered any kind of measuring stick. Then lost to our terrible team. Which we look like much more a challenge than that Broncos team that week or Atlanta. 

Short version: Taysom Hill hasn’t beat anybody of significance.

Remember we wasted a pick on a QB last season also.

They are a better team than us and we beat a SB contender and we were 1 hail mary from tying that game. Would you rather have had the tie game we had against CIncy? That was probably Wentz's BEST game

Just pointing out Hurts makes us competitive when we were NOT with Wentz and a RB would not have made us any more competitive with Wentz taking sacks and tossing picks and missing open receivers and being indecisive

I didn't say we were great(show me where I said that). I said basically Hurts makes us competitive, so how was that a bad pick? I admit at the time I thought it was a bad pick,but TG we have a reliable QB. That was SUPPOSED to be Wentz and despite NOT playing,he still leads the league in sacks taken and INTS and he's NOT even playing

Tied the Bengals. Beat the Niners. We’re in it with the Steelers until they put us away at the end. Lost to the Ravens by two points. Beat the Giants and Cowboys.

 

But sure Hurts makes us competitive because he beat the All Pro Taysom Hill and only lost by a TD to an 8-8 looking Cards team.

The team lost those games. Sucked
