C’mon...let’s all stick together! Don’t need a dominating win. Don’t need a pretty win. Just need the W!

He's a run stuffer though, not so much someone to get to the QB. Plus our DL was actually really good this year, leads the league in sacks from the DL.

I see us picking up a DT. Maybe not round 1,but we need to get one. On my mock I have Togai with our last pick. I think he is better than he is getting credit for. He is a 3 tech DL, perfect for how we play

I disagree. There are lots of vet QBs who could lead a team.  I love Foles but lets face it he could just as easily been bad Nick going into the playoffs.

If they could have gotten Hurts in the 4th, that's different

But you need to PAY those guys. A rook gets rook pay and maybe we didnt want Dullaz or the no names to grab him???? Sometimes it's not who you get,it's who you keep others from getting(this works well in fantasy also). One look at our cap situation and you can see paying a #2 QB was pretty much out of the question

BTW,in fantasy, I am filling up my trophy case again. Champ in every league lol

As many boos I would hear on draft day, I would really like to see us take Farley at CB, even if I had to pass up Chase and get my WR in round 2. In 2 I would opt for say Olave from Ohio state or Chase's teammate Terrance Marshall. I just can't draft a WR in 1 not knowing if I have a QB that can hit him(and we don't know that we have that right now) and those other 2 are plenty talented. My issue is round 3 because we have no 4th,so this pick is rather vital. Im stuck between Myers at C (to replace Kelce) or Jabril Cox at LB(if he is even there). BTW this is a HUGE call for me(letting Chase go), that goes against my O minded brain

Reagor got hurt, Hurts contributed even when Wentz was a QB

So you're saying they knew Wentz was gonna suck?

They suspected Wentz might suck?

Exacty where is the evidence because i don't see it anywhere.

Now if the arguement is Wentz is injury prone that might have some validity but that wasn't the case this year.

No, even if Wentz played well, there was still the injury issues he's had and we didn't have a real good #2 in the event we made the playoffs(see Foles). As I said before we were SUPPOSE to contend this year. The situation was SO bad we even hired McCown as an "emergency" QB remember?

Even disregarding the great 2017  i just don't see where anyone could predict Wentz being as bad as he has been this year based on past performance

I don't think anyone predicted how major of a decline this was. yeah we lost guys to injury. Ped didn't help Wentz by changing the plays for him(like roll outs and such) OR Wentz was changing the plays at the line. We let Hurts play some snaps to give him a little experience in the event Wentz got hurt at playoff time. I guess they didn't see Suds as a viable guy to take us home if we got that far. Of course that point is moot now. I think Hurts was drafted as a CYA in the event Wentz went down even if he was playing lights out,but I don;t believe for a second, they were expecting him to have to start THIS year. Hard for me to judge because we never see Suds. And lets face it,after 5 years,if he can't win the #2 job,do we really need him? There is a late QB UDFA I know we like(grapevine stuff) Zac Thomas from Appalachian State. I would not shock me if we grabbed him and let Suds go to save money.

Going to be a fun off-season... Start with what happens with Doug(my guess he stays) but could be tossed a curve never know. Howie isn’t going anywhere.

Next you have the QB issue honestly don’t view keeping both guys as a great option pick one and move forward with him trade the other.

Then we get to hit the draft where we will have a top 10 pick and can go a number of directions from OL to DB basically every position should be on our board. Really whoever we have graded the highest Chase, Parsons, Sewell, Farley, Surtain etc. lots of possible options

I want to know WHO made the decision to fire Groh. I don't think that was Ped. If you aren't going to let the coach build his staff they way he wants, it's not going to work well

Lurie/Howie only people with more power then Doug would be those two guys. But there has always been a weird structure in terms of our coaching staff honestly seems like Schwartz has more control on who gets hired on his side then Doug

I see us keeping both Wentz and Hurts, taking Zac Thomas with a UDFA pick-up and letting Suds walk

Yeah, why I keep saying I want the Howie deal split up and hire a REAL GM. A guy who can nail drafts and let Doug pick his staffers

If I had the choice I’d lean Parsons but not my call and unlikely we would draft a LB that high... Then I’d swing for a CB in the 2nd round.

My thinking is it was a Lurie call to fire Groh and Howie just doing as he was told in that regard. But Lurie has no intention of letting Howie go so that won’t happen.... Did hire Dorsey I believe to aid Howie soooo maybe that helps us lol

Though I was fine with Groh being fired didn’t like him as OC still believe Doug would be more aided by an experienced OC Caldwell would be fantastic in my mind but unlikely with Doug wanting to keep play calling

I'd be shocked if Parsons is still there.

Even more shocked if we took him

So IDK,maybe a S in round 3?????

He's a "homer" so maybe that changes history lol

I like what we have at S honestly I like Wallace think he will be pretty good.... I’d look at a DL(DL is old)... Possibly TE if we traded Ertz  in the off-season

In 3 looking at A) a safety B) a ROG C) Another CB D)another LB thoughts?(see my mock first)

Yeah a TE could work in 3 also. Nice heads up
