That possible your Doug Pederson your job is on the line do you believe in Hurts???? That is the question no guarantee Pederson even wanted Hurts in the first place I can’t image Doug was thrilled to get another QB when he had Wentz sure he would have rather had something that would have help the team more at that time

It sucks sure but it’s split over two years and 2021 by most was a cap reset year for us anyway so getting a jump on getting out of the Wentz deal now would be key...

Reports also stated Wentz would do whatever he could to make a trade happen so if you believe those reports maybe something happens to help lessen the burden on us.

As far as "believing" If the Jets offered to trade Hurts for their 2, then I would be good with taking Fields or Lawrence, but why would they do that when they could just take either? I don't "believe" Wentz offers them more upside that those 2.Only + is Wentz has experience, but now that concuss issue would be bothersome,so I don;t think they go there. They grab a rook to sit behind Darnold and go from there

yeah I mentioned that. We would be eating the dead money,but paying ROOK contracts out,so really it's the same result and you;d have the rooks beyond the dead money

COULD be this is the reason for Hurts starting, so I can understand that. Kind of forcing the issue to get him to make a better deal for us

Wentz to the Pats would not shock me either. Eat some of our dead money and take their 1 pick. I would be happy with that

So trade Wentz to the Pats, get their 14 pick and they eat some %of our dead loot. I would be more than happy with that. I don't think they are thrilled with Cam up there and besides it would give 58 a heart attack HAHAHA

Better yet, restructure that deal to make it more plausible, then trade him to the Pats for their #14 pick. Now that would be a dream.

If Wentz wants to get traded bad enough, he can give back his signing bonus. That's the only way we can save any money on his cap hit.

If he restructures, it would add money that we have to pay him.

Yup, if Carson hands us $20 million, he can be traded pretty easily as long as someone wants him. The problem, obviously, is that it isn't really likely that Carson is going to do that. But if he does, it solves all our problems.

The Falcons putting up a good fight is something unexpectedly pleasant this afternoon. The Bengals, not so much. The Dolphins losing also helps a little.

At any rate  say 4th and 14th in round 1 sure would come in handy. Pats would probably give Wentz the same bonus he gave us back. Pats really don't tend to go for higher draft picks,they take what they get and make it work. Getting Wentz I think Belicheat would go for. I think this would be a better scenario than expecting the Jets and Jax to trade for him or the "fake" holdout for the BYU QB

Browns/Squeelers is a good game. Gnats beating up on Dullaz. I would take Garrett as our OC NP. Garrett as OC, Austin(Squeelers) as DC. have both of those guys input, then tell Howie "Ped is doing the drafting"

Hurts wont finish the game. He will be pulled by half time or earlier. Not due to play, but only to reduce chances at injury.

I think the thirdQB in this draft could be in demand. Maybe we are right in the sweet spot to capitalize on a trade back scenario.

Really magnifies the relationship between Carson and Pedey. Since reports were coming out about Pedey maintaining his job. The next day Carson is reportedly forcing a trade.
