Alot depends on "other things" Does Kelce retire?  Do we need someone more solid on the O line? Who is the fing QB? Do we part with Ertz? Are Djax and Alshon coming back? Does our defense change to the 34? How good is Dillard and what do we do with Mailiata? Is Lurie kissing Howies butt? Many things to consider here

Alot depends on "other things" Does Kelce retire?  I think so. Do we need someone more solid on the O line? No, we are fine with what we have. Who is the fing QB? Based on what Lurie said, Wentz. Do we part with Ertz? Yes. Are Djax and Alshon coming back? No. Does our defense change to the 34? No. How good is Dillard and what do we do with Mailiata? Start Mailata. Keep Dillard as a backup LT for a year and then trade him. Is Lurie kissing Howies butt? Always for some reason. Many things to consider here

No HC, no OC, No DC, No QB,1 RB, No Oline. Yep we're ready for next year already!!!! The halls of Novacare are echoing

Howie still here like I predicted... I wonder if we go get a young HC...will Duce and others survive this laters reset?

Who knows what rumors are correct Ham. I do know both coaches under Howie wanted him gone, as I do.

Wentz looked good when conditions were good. He processes slowly, rarely leads his receivers, quite often doesn't see the open man, holds on to the ball too long. Foles did better with that good team when Wentz got hurt. The team got a spark with Hurts, making me wonder if they lost confidence in Wentz. Then we praise Hurts for running the ball, which is what we didn't want Wentz to do - of course Hurts is much better and faster at it. It's also not Hurts' 1st option, but when he has to - like with all his decision making - he processes and acts on it much more quickly.

It always about money first...thirty something million due Wentz on a season projected to have Cap issues.. I hope the New HC gets to make that decision and not come in to a limited role with someone else pulling the strings.

Don't really care if Howie is here(or not) what I DO care about is Lurie lets him control the draft picks. I have NP with Howie as a contractual guy, but we need a FOOTBALL guy making those picks

Touchy here, but if Wentz is staying he needs to take a pay reduction for his DISMAL performance and go get outside help NOW. We're gonna eat the 34 million no matter if we're not trading him (which we don't know yet either). If he refuses,he will look bad in the fans eyes and I let his sry arse ride pine. All we hear are rumors from various spin machines. I would like to hear directly from Wentz and I mean a heartfelt presser, not just words read off a paper and without his mommie butting in. He let the fans and organization down. He needs to atone and it can't be a FAKE atonement(IMO) Tired of "we need to do better" STFU and DO BETTER!!!

SO, if Ped ends up with the Jets, would he reco a trade for Wentz? Interesting

What does that have to do with being in FL?

It has no direct relation but these are tough times...😁

I think we saw in the Washington game how he should be used, namely as a TE/WR

SO, it took Ped 15 weeks to figure out how to use him? I'm glad he's gone then

I can understanding letting DP go, he's most likely better off.

What I don't understand is retaining Howie. There has to be accountability, instead there's scapegoating. Nothing is ever Howies' fault. By not holding him accountable, Jeff's enabling him, rewarding him for poor jobs over and over.

When someone shows you who they are - believe them Jeff!

I hope Lurie wakes up and lets someone else make the picks. With an entirely new staff coming in, it's imperative we nail the draft and give them tools to work with, or they will fail also

We're talking to Todd Bowles..... and Saleh

For me, he is on the bubble. If you had to make a cut, who do you cut him or Watkins?

I think New HC...These guys like Watkins get a chance to prove they belong on the field.I felt or blamed Peedy for Poor scheming, Player utilization and poor game management...New HC should be involved in who stays who goes.

NC...You typically get at least 1 right on the Draft...that is pretty good....Respect your prediction skills...After watching Smith perform last night woooo I like that kid at #1. 2...CB?... I like Campbell length and athleticism not a bad looking #2Yea....3 Don't think RB would be my Choice 5.. Lb/  5....DL 6....Thompson...seems like he can catch the ball...7 ...OL what is a Draft without an OL pick.

Wentz ain't taking no pay cut...That money is guaranteed. You know Howie don't want no press conferences from Wentz . Howie controls the narrative.

Neither, I cut DJAX and Jeffrey. That only leaves you 6. You then draft a Stud and are done.

Oh I do love FL. Always have.

Sooo, 8 teams left. Thinking here is TB beats NO and GB beats LA in the NFC. AFC is allot tougher to predict. All teams have a shot. I do like Buffalo and KC but can easily see either one get upset. What say you?

Agree with the NFC. Then GB takes care of Tampon Bay. AFC: Bills over Ravens, KC over Cleveland (MAYBE!). Too hard to even go out on a limb for AFC Championship game.

Re-RB. It was a toss-up. I also had Deonte Brown (OG Bama) in round 3 lol). But remember we always had that 1,2 punch? even when we had Sproles as RB 3, we still had 2 other capable RB's. Love Sanders,Scott is fine as a BU, but it's tough sledding when we need to rely on him as a 3 down RB, thus the RB addition. haven't see enough of the other guys we rostered to know if they are any good(but if they were good wouldn't they play?)

Stud addition, Reagor, Ward, Hightower, Fulgham,Goodwin,Watkins, Jjaw. So one again who are you cutting?

Ummm... Is that a trick question? Without doubt I'm cutting JJAW. Then it's a toss up between Goodwin and Hightower. And to be honest I'm not sure they should even bring Goodwin back?

Some thoughts on the Eagles coaching situation.

I think there was a dysfunction in the coaching structure that led to our decline the last several seasons, and it's something that the team has to fix.

The way we were structured, the HC was really the OC, concerned with scheme and play calling, the DC oversaw the defense with no accountability, and the FO oversaw the draft, roster construction and even who was active on game days.

What this meant was that there was no oversight of the DC, and no real focus on player evaluation/development. The end result was that mistakes were made such as bringing back Peters with Mailata in the building, repeatedly benching/starting players like Herbig, the disappearance of Fulgham, the cutting of viable players such as Rasul Douglas, etc.

To me, this falls on the head coach. He should be the one evaluating players and position coaches, to ensure they are getting the most out of the players. Instead, Pederson was focused on designing practices and developing a scheme. So essentially we didn't have a head coach, we had an offensive and a defensive coordinator.

Moving forward, the team has to decide what role the head coach is going to have, and who us best to fill that role. Doug was fired because he was going to promote Press Taylor, knowing full well that he could just keep being the defacto offensive coordinator, which is clearly what our major problem was.

As far as Roseman, I think this is his last year unless he nails this draft and players such as Dillard, Reagor, Taylor and JJAW show significant improvement. If they don't, I think the owner will see the writing on the wall.

IMO, Doug needed to be fired. We made too many bad decisions in terms of personnel. The handling of the LT spot this year, and the oline in general, I put 100 percent on him. He has to know what he has in the building. Herbig should have been the RG from day one. Mailata should have been the LT as soon as Dillard got hurt, and probably should have played last year (he went on phantom IR to create a roster spot.) Douglas and Sidney Jones should have never been released. Gerry should have never started in front of Singleton.

A head coach has to know these things, which is why he's the head coach. But if he's focused on designing plays, I can see how he missed them.

He should have seen Wentz's regression and take steps to fix the problem. The tape from games showed flaws in mechanics, and I am sure they were there in training camp as well. But he didn't fix those problems.

This is not to say that Roseman is blameless. He has failed on way too many draft picks. But that solution appears to be fixable. Our scouting department apparently identified Jefferson and Chin in the draft. So I am sure that they will have a greater voice moving forward. The one thing about Roseman is that he has demonstrated he is willing to change. Doug refused to change, which is why he is no longer our head coach. Hopefully we will find someone willing to exist within the parameters of the organization.

Stine said we'd have 6, just pointing out there is potential for EIGHT. I have no idea what we do with Goodwin. His contract is still good due to the covid BS opt out and he wasn't expensive and he would basically be that "vet presence" we seem to HAVE to have

He missed here also lol. yeah 4th and 2, lets go for it with no O line instead of taking the 3,and while I am a fan of aggressive plays,I'm not aggressive when its STUPID(know when to hold 'em,know when to fold 'em). Peds clock management always stunk too. I agree totally with you(and said it before) we needed to know who we had and you can't win games with 14 different offensive lines
