SO he's a "missed pick" because we couldn't do anything with him? Or was he a good pick, that went to a team that had no coaches or didn't utllize his skill set ?

All I know is when it’s Eagles players I want to hear the same excuses for the guys...I want to hear well Howie drafted a great player our coaches didn’t use him correctly though..

Kirt Coleman was a good pick we just didn’t use him right, Dion Lewis was a good pick that we didn’t use sure if I really wanted to look up more players I could but those two came to the top of my head

Let's try this again. I draft Tom Brady. I can't to anything with him after a year,so I trade him to the Pats. SO,that was a bad pick by me????  I don't think so. That was lack of me being able to develop him. Nice try pinning the tail on the wrong donkey

Yes it’s a bad pick for the team what don’t you get about it.... It isn’t rocket science if you waste a 1st round pick on a guy then Get rid of him in 2 years that was a failed pick

We are looking at this from 2 different viewpoints. I understand your view, now understand mine. A GOOD player is not a bad pick. It is bad coaching/utilization. If you are too inept to coach a player, in my view it is not bad pick, it is an inept coaching staff. The "bad pick" was made when you hired people who cannot coach. I could select Joe Burrow in round 1(GREAT PICK!!!). If I cannot coach him, or ruin him, it wasn't the pick that was bad,it was my ineptness.

Nope,it was a failed staff lol. We can do this forever

Again.... bad pick " for " you... not " by" you.  An example.... you love a stock.  You buy it and you sell it.

The stock absolutely does extremely well, great pick by you.   However,  at the time you got in ( it was a little late) and life circumstances made you have to sell before the big upswing.  So "FOR" you... the stock didn't do much.

However it was still a great pick " BY" you.   Investor return vs investment return.

Injuries and how the coaching staff handles the player are similar to the life circumstances that made to stock or the player not a great pick ... FOR you.   Still could end up being a good pick by you ..... but for someone else.

Lmao I understand the player not being bad but the pick for that team is.... So again Perriman no matter what he does is a bust of a pick for the Ravens

It’s just like if AG goes on to have a great career with the Raiders he still was a bust for us not going to change

Some guys just thrive in a different system, scheme, location or click with certain coaches. Some guys work better for us than they would elsewhere...like a Vinny Curry. Some guys end up not fitting here and can be successful elsewhere. Some guys don’t work great some places and come here and are Pro Bowl....ie Jenkins and Robinson from the Saints.

Nasty schedule. 49ers, Steelers, Ravens - survivable. Seattle, GB, NO, AZ, Dullass - holy crap!

I think you got this backwards. Niners, Steelers and Ravens are beast. New Orleans I’d put in that group also...to agree with you. Seattle and Green Bay are very good. Arizona is up and coming but I’d give them one more season to get there and grow. Cowboys I refuse to dignify them on the schedule with a Holy Crap! Just got to beat them down like the dogs they are.

Have to win the 1st dullass game, 2nd one's at the end of that nasty 2nd half stretch

Mistook AZ for KC, so that helps, still not easy, doable if healthy

Based on last years records the schedule is doable.

But really, who knows until the players take the field.

Welp, started comparing our schedule to our opponents, starting w. the division. Dullass schedule looked easier, NFLN confirmed they have the 3rd easiest. I don't put a lot of credence into these things as they're compared to last yrs' teams, just feel we're coming from behind.

Steelers were the next in to be in the Playoffs in the AFC...without Big Ben. So they will be tough. Zona is on the upswing... but were probably better than five wins last year ....just in the toughest division. Which we have to play now this year. Winning our division last year means we have to play the Saints and Packers as the two ‘extra’ games. Not nice.

You figure the Browns are better than their record last year. Poor coaching sunk them.

So Eagles and Dallas have the same 14 games..... except we have Green Bay and New Orleans .... they have ATL and Minnesota.    It is what it is.  I like having the Saints at home in December on Cox's 30th birthday.

Looking at our schedule..... pretty good as far as where the games fall.    No game vs a team coming off a bye week.    Dallas has Pittsburgh week 9 with Pittsburgh one bye week 8.   Thanksgiving week ... Wash vs Dallas..... Washington plays at home at 1pm on Sunday... Dallas plays at Minnesota at 4:25... tougher recovery there for sure on Monday.    We play the Giants at home on a Thursday after both teams at home 1pm .... but the second match up week 10 is after our bye... they have their bye after in week 11.  Should be huge advantage.

Not liking having to play at the Steelers sandwiched between having to come back from SF and playing the Ravens the following week.    Week 16 match up with Dallas ... is after we have to come back from Arizona.     Seattle plays Thursday night before our MNF match up so they get extra rest

But all in all, not too bad.   I love the 1pm starts 5 out of the first 6 weeks.... getting into the flow of the season.    Let's go!!!!!
