DC- Gannon(Colts DB coach)

OL- Stout

DL-Rocker(mostly college DL coach was last at South Carolina)

pass coordinator- Patullo(held same role with Indy apparently also worked with WRs)

Indy poached us after the SB.

Looks like we're returning the favor.

Like I said just after the Siri hire and reading up about him, there are some things I really liked. He likes to use a dozer RB, which is something I've always professed as they're great in short ydg and blocking. He also wants the ball out fast, leading the receivers and let then make the plays - something that would have been beneficial this yr w/ the poor OL play - not Stout's fault. Stout will be really happy w/ the addition of a dozer.

Who is Rocker?  Was there an announcement of a DL coach hire?

Thought you were a rocker?

Sounds like Duce heading to the Lions according to Canfora

Defensive line coach

• Tracy Rocker: The Eagles have targeted Rocker to be their D-line coach, according to Pete Thamel. Rocker is currently with Auburn, and he is a defensive line lifer, as he has a long list of defensive line jobs. In chronological order: West Alabama, Troy State, Cincinnati, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and then Auburn again. He also coached the D-line for three years with the Titans.

Kempski has a brief rundown on the coaching hires

Looks like some good hires.

The elephant in the room is still Howie who's made a mess of the cap situation.. Until that's resolved the coaching staff is gonna have a hard time being successful.

Our staff is really young, as the HC, DC and OC are all under 40. I am not sure that is the best way to go, but we shall see.

Why? Does intelligence and innovation have a maturation point? Some kids go to college when they are 14 because they deserve to be there (just sayin) Chronological years doesn't make a good coach. May be fresh ideas and thinking outside the box will be better than "experience" As you said,we shall see

I was a rocker, now I am off my rocker 🤣

Here is my choice for my annual UDFA RB(let's remember he is a UDFA before you bash me ok?) Good balance, good feet in traffic,no real burst, but once he gets wound up he is fairly fast. Seems to have good vision and I think he would be a nice RB to coach. Has the bulk to be a decent enough blocker, although finding those vids are hard to do

I think that would be a fantastic draft for the Eagles. I think they could trade back a few spots and still get one of the top three corners, so that would be my preference instead of grabbing Surtain at 6. But the rest of the picks are solid. I really like Basham.

Not my find, the guy in the posted article found him. If we HAD to wait on a WR,this guy's pretty good

IDK of you read it the earlier mock had Smith, then samuel. IDK how you can pass up the heisman WR. Like the article says throw a dart because we have needs all across the board. Also in both of their mocks, they once again ignored the LB position(nothing new for us lol)

I also looked at Stevenson, but for me I like my guy better(another Huntley lol) and he may be a UDFA grab

I don't think we need a linebacker. As far as WR, I would rather see what our young kids can do with better playcalling and qb play. We have a gaping hole at CB, and I think we would be crazy not to trade back and fill that need while picking up an extra third round pick.

We certainly could go that way. We need so much there is no clear path. Just need to start filling all the holes, so that could be anyone.

We need everything and this is a two draft hole we have to climb out of, I want blue chips. BPA’s for once in our lives for two straight drafts please.

I like our young WR's but once again there are no studs and I really am tired of settling for mediocre
