Nice job by the Bucs, winning in Lambeau with the playoff pressure

What I do not get, is why were the Refs letting them play all game and then calls a PI on that play, which essentially sealed the deal for TB. But I agree that GB should have gone for it on 4th down. Even if they don't make it, TB is inside the 10.

Interesting that TB makes the SB after adding Brady. Some said he would not make that much difference.......

OK try this mock on for size  1-6 Smith-WR-Bama    2-38-Tyson Campbell or Asante Samuel-CB 3-70- LeCounte-S-Georgia  5-134- Rashad Weaver-Edge-Pitt 5-140- Sadarius Hutcherson-OG- S. Carolina  6-165- Tommy Togai- DT-Ohio St  7-198- Al Blades-CB-Miami(FL)    As most say we're not fixing this thing overnight, but these are some solid guys. This would give us a little POP on offense, shore up our weak secondary, address the aging D line and add a nice OG who can come up. There are 3 UDFA's I would like to have. Caleb Huntley-RB-Ball St-nice way to add a basher/relief RBBC back. He may be drafted, but if he isn't I'll take him. Zac Thomas-QB- App. St and we can tell Suds to "hit the bricks".Matt Bushman-TE-BYU. As a UDFA this guy is under the radar.WOuld be a nice addition especially if we peel Ertz off.  If we need a LB we would have to seek one out in FA/or through a trade for an additional pick. That is the drawback to this mock. I suppose you could also replace my 140 pick with a LB( we need both, so pick your poison). If we go Campbell or even his teammate Stokes at CB and paired them with Lecounte, they have already played together(at Georgia) which would accelerate the transition time to the NFL since they know how each other play(just an added bonus lol). The last pick has lots of ceiling and I feel he is a tad better than the UDFA's later,so IMO nothing wrong with adding another CB to compete for a spot

I think Smith goes to the Jets.

Got to come away with a pass catcher in the first. Three best players other than Lawrence are.

Sooooo we officially have the youngest coaching staff in the nfl in regards to HC/OC/DC at an avg. age of 37... Rams are #2 at 38(they are pretty good)

Can we finally get our roster younger as well. #youthmovement

That's gonna happen by default. JP is gone, Kelce could retire, DJax gone, Alshon gone

Some FA considerations when looking at team needs, our cap situation and the draft

Key free agents

• Jason Peters, tackle
• Jalen Mills, safety
• Nickell Robey-Coleman, DB
• Vinny Curry, defensive end
• Hassan Ridgeway, DT
• Cre’Von LeBlanc, cornerback
• Richard Rodgers, tight end
• Boston Scott, running back
• Travis Fulgham, wide receiver
• Duke Riley, linebacker
• Corey Clement, running back
• Greg Ward, wide receiver

Some of these guys are going to want to get paid.

Still pretty old Graham 32, Cox/Malik 30-31... Slay 31, McLeod 30... Brooks/Lane 30-31. Kelce I don’t foresee retiring this year.

We have nobody back there besides Slay, why I'm leaning that way. Malik may be gone

Fulgham and Ward aren't going to cost much because they aren't unrestricted free agents. Ridgeway, LeBlanc, Rodgers, Clement, Riley and Curry aren't locks to make the roster even if brought back. Peters knows he is done here. My best guess is that he gets signed by someone who needs a tackle down the stretch.

Mills is an interesting case. He is worth $4 million a year, but we don't need him as we will be playing more cover 2, and he doesn't really fit in that role. His best fit is probably as a slot corner or box safety.

If I were handling things, my secondary would be Slay and a draft pick at CB, Wallace at slot corner, and Epps and Maddox at safety (McLeod may not be ready for the start of the season and is on the way out anyway.) In dime, we can bring in Arnold or LeBlanc (or a draft pick.) I don't see the point of paying $4 million to Mills, as he likely isn't much of an upgrade over what we have, and if I was bringing him back, it would be as a slot corner, and I like Wallace in that role.

I prefer Wallace at S... Honestly wasn’t overly impressed with Epps at S from the games I seen decent backup I guess.

Maddox in the McLeod role I believe is his best position.

Mills thought was extremely good at S but we moved him all over also feel like Wallace can be just as good if not better then him.

Marlon Mack, RB, Colts

The 2017 4th-round pick is coming off an Achilles tear, so he’ll probably need to sign a one-year prove-it deal, which will be cheap. And the Colts don’t really need him as long as they have Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines. So this could be a bargain-bin upgrade at RB2. Mack had a 1,000-yard season in 2019.

Not sure we would sign him but would be an interesting one should make a nice 1-2 with Sanders if it did happen.

Have to image we will see couple former players from our coaches come over... Seen Indy Lb Walker WR Pascal , S Hooker could all be option as well if they hit the market and can definitely make the case they could come cheap.

Hooker could end up being a complete bargain steal. Has had injury issues but former 1st rounder only 24. Not that we have had the best luck with injuries but if he stays healthy could be a pro bowl caliber S

Walker the LB is another young guy 25 and has been a tackling machine from 2017-20 has piled up 343 tackles.

I’d prioritize Fulgham over Ward I think. If we can get Fulgham back on track his ceiling is just way higher then Wards. Also think Siri would like someone like Fulgham or Jjaw working the slot.

Yeah that was an "iffy call' Not consistent. Even though I was rooting for the Bucs. Losing Winston was an ongoing "we want"(as fans) for a long time. We all said they need a consistent QB. Even Fitz provided that. Brady gave them that consistency we all wanted

IDK Darnold is AWFUL

That would fit in nicely with my last mock

I doubt Kelce is gonna want to go through a rebuild especially with his injury history.

Pass catchers or overall? my top 3 WR's are Smith,Chase,Waddle. Overall? Sewell,Parsons,Smith

https://247sports.com/ContentGallery/2021-NFL-Mock-Draft-145681526/#145681526_6  About how I see it going. I DO however see Detroit moving up for a QB or maybe Stafford goes to the Jets for their 2? Wouldn't hurt the Jets much getting Stafford and still having the 7 pick

I think someone offers their #1 for him. That would allow Detroit to move up to #2 or 3 and grab one of the top 2 or 3 QB's

Some feel Chase is better than Smith. Problem is Chase did not play last year so no one really knows for sure. But I could see either one being taken at 6.....

Assuming one wasn't already off the board...

It will be an interesting situation should both still be on the board when pick 6 comes up.  Then watch Howie pass on both and go OL/DL (not named Sewell)!

That's what I meant. Jet's get Stafford and the 7 pick, Detroit gets the 2 pick.( Darnold is now the Jets #2 while they figure out what to do with him) Would make sense to me

Some feel Waddle is a better fit than Smith(or Chase). Although I disagree, I can understand the reasoning
