Been looking at our cap trouble, going to have to cut a lot and restructure. Going to be some tough decisions. Know JP simply can't play a whole season any more. One tough one is Graham who I always liked, plays better than it seems. We have some really bad contracts. The Ertz situation has to play out. We hear runours, there's reasons on both sides.

It's camp IDC where they try him, but why limit the possibilities if you don't try him at OG? I also don't care who plays where when camp is over, just SET IT and give me the same line for 17 games

    Howie paid Wentz too much in guarantees. I'm still not sold on Wentz any longer. His attitude along with his play STINKS. So now what happens if him and Siri don't get along? Now that his loser buddy is gone,IDK if he even wants to play here

    Siri quote from the Inquirer that makes me hopeful

    Like I said, don't know truth from rumours. Do believe if he doesn't take the coaching or doesn't want to compete he'll be benched or gone - at least he should be.

    Limit no if he loses the job to Mailata then by all means try him at G but until then I’d have a full out battle for the starting LT job

    I absolutely loved AR benching TO! 

    Didn't like not putting Alshon on IR at the beginning of last season and having him take up a roster spot - bonehead move!

    That's a win win win 93 - iron sharpens iron, makes for a better b/u and there's cross training.

    Mills is an interesting case. He is worth $4 million a year, but we don't need him as we will be playing more cover 2, and he doesn't really fit in that role. His best fit is probably as a slot corner or box safety.

    If I were handling things, my secondary would be Slay and a draft pick at CB, Wallace at slot corner, and Epps and Maddox at safety (McLeod may not be ready for the start of the season and is on the way out anyway.) In dime, we can bring in Arnold or LeBlanc (or a draft pick.) I don't see the point of paying $4 million to Mills, as he likely isn't much of an upgrade over what we have, and if I was bringing him back, it would be as a slot corner, and I like Wallace in that role. 

    Don't think we're in as Bad a Cap situation as people say.I think ALl those guys are gone Ridgeway, Rodgers! Fulgham  I would keep for the right price.Epps, McCleod Mills gotta go. Don't want Mills back even as a slot. Wallace still is unproven in my eyes.

    Maddox in the McLeod role I believe is his best position.

    Mills thought was extremely good at S but we moved him all over also feel like Wallace can be just as good if not better then him. 

    I like the youth movement. Wallace needs to show more. McLeod and Mills need to be somewhere else...Maddox just can't stay healthy? Get someone opposite Slay. This New Coaching Staff seem to care about LB play...If we keep Singleton could we actually make LB a priority.

    There were some safety prospects getting reps, but one kid that stood out was wr Shi Smith.

    McLeod was a stud for us last year he is older so can’t saying moving on is the worst thing but his play was top notch.
    Mills when he was actually at S wasn’t bad 

    Wallace there was a lot to like from what seen definitely needs to improve but I look at the SF game when we asked him to guard Kittle. He was on his hip most of the game Kittle schooled him but they were just Kittle making great plays not Wallace so much being beaten on a route that to me was a promising sign. 
     

    As for Maddox why I’d prefer him as the 3rd S but might have to fill in if McLeod can’t go

    This isn’t actually true he wasn’t healthy at times sure but he was actually generating a ton of pressure for us was really good when on the field... But the health and age could play a factor to move on 

    Real question needs to be how serious are we on the youth movement and are we in full rebuild mode or the so called retool.

    If we want to get younger first off would look at Graham/Malik can we get out of there deals. Have Hargrove who started to come on toward the end and Cox I liked Ridgeway as a cheap 3rd option. Graham we could go with Barnett/Sweat duo. 
     

    S- could move McLeod look at Maddox back there to fill his role also FA Hooker.

    Offense- Brooks/Kelce/Lane could be serious option to consider trading if we seriously want to get younger add capital and free up cap. Lot of young guys got experience and should keep getting better Dillard/Mailata tandem maybe Herbig at RG??? Driscoll in the wings

    WR/TE- I mean Djax/Alshon are gone and good chance Ertz gets dealt as well that’s three 30+ players. 

    Not saying we do half this stuff but lots of directions this team could go is my point.

    It just didn't seem like Malik was generating any pressure for what we were paying.

    Yeah Grant from UCF(dont have to look) I have him immediately after Lecounte(round 3) so if LeCounte is gone Grant da man

    I know for awhile seu was taking camp C snaps with the 1's before. That may have stopped. I read(somewhere) that we felt Juriga would be a new C

    This was my feeling all along.  More so about Doug's ideas going forward about staff, not so much Howie and Lurie wanting control, just that they didn't like Doug's ideas.
