Why couldn't that happen?  Ertz should be gone, might not get traded though,  could just be a cut.

Wentz may go, for sure would be a trade,  but I think you are grasping at straws to get draft capital as you do your mocks every year.

If I had to guess, Ertz may bring a late round pick...maybe. There needs to be a bidding war though, otherwise everyone will wait for him to be cut.  Wentz may be traded after the draft.  So I wouldn't focus on getting extra picks without a trade back from 6.

Nah,I'm grasping for a serviceable QB that may not be on our roster. Maybe Hurts can play. Wentz didn't have a couple of game "slump" he was downright pathetic for 12 weeks

When asked about working w/Howie Roseman & if he will have say in personnel, Nick Sirianni told #Eagles website there will be communication between coaching staff/scouting department. Will discuss how they would use certain skill sets

Injury isn't a performance let down, it's an injury

Your definition is correct. But LOL we were talking major let downs. At any rate, we paid D Jax how much for 5 games/14 receptions? (hypothetical, not that important) Still a disappointment nonetheless. That senseless acrobat impression when he did a back flip got him AND the team where? LOL again hypothetical.

Read Wentz gets tougher to move after the 3rd day of the new league year. Article I stated lot of his guaranteed money come into play after the 3rd day of the new league year.

Yes, the Eagles will need to restructure his deal  (I see this happening either way, due to it being an easy way to get under the cap prior to the new league year.   This is all media focusing on the wrong parts of the contract (as usual)    The Eagles redo the deal, then he gets moved post June 1, is a way for them to get under the cap ASAP and then it allows the next team to get him at decent price with the dead money being split over 2021 -2022.  It's a month after the draft, with Covid restrictions likely still being in place, it;s not going to matter much to the next team if it's done then.  Plus you have to look at teams missing on a QB in the draft or if they try for a free agent.  Gives the Eagles a little leverage.

What the media keeps overlooking is that QB salaries are going up big time.  In reality the contract for any new team isn't bad at all.  The Eagles issue is they are over the cap... so doing nothing with Wentz 's contract is the same as trading him.... they need to redo his deal (which I'm sure was the original plan) in order to get under the cap and still make moves.  Anything else really handcuffs them big time and forces them to make a lot of other moves.

OK, Wentz finally talks, or tweets after 50+ Days. And it is a commercial? Seriously? He tweets and gets paid for it.... I am done with him. Watson is another one. Will not even accept phone calls from the new head coach? Here is a QB, who signs a huge contract after Hopkins is traded, demanding a trade. He said he won't give back one dime and will only go to specific teams? WTF! Dead cap on Wentz is terrible, but it is like 69 Mil for Watson! I really cannot understand who these people think they are. I don't want either one on my team. Make them sit I say.....

Didn’t he come out to support Rodney McLeod for being in the running for man of the year. Not a terrible time to make an appearance

Yes, at the same time he puts in a word for nationwide? So he gets paid for that tweet! Had he just said congrats I would be OK with it.... Dude is all about money.

See the end of his tweet - #NationwideAd  - That means Nationwide will pay him for the advertisement....

How about this: Congrats McLeod for your work and nomination for WPMOY award. I am ready to get back to work. Go Eagles!   Simple Tweet saying something meaningful to the fans, yet not lining your pockets with more cash.....

Dead cap on Wentz isn't that far off ... it is $59M.

Tacky. He wants to be worshiped for a year of suckmyballs play. I'm with you Stine, I don't need this Prima Donna cancer. Suds can hit the bricks also. I can do better than him blindfolded. SO, we have a nice BU QB, now we need to find our starter. If I don't make a deal Hurts is my QB and Wentz rides pine because his attitude tells me he doesn't deserve to play. I'm seriously sick of these overpaid athletes(in all sports) who make more a year than I make in a lifetime. How about some "monetary justice?" Should incorporate a pay scale with a max that each player can make with bonuses for tenure. Of course this will never happen because that would cause a cap freeze lol. Here's a new hastag    #NFLgreedyAF

lol, WENTZ MAKES MORE IN A MONTH THAN I MAKE IN A LIFETIME!

Yeah Wentz gave a shoutout to Nationwide (and the NFL) for supporting the WPMOY platform.  He could just be giving recognition to them for their work.

But he spoke ONLY of McLeod and how deserving he was of this award in the minute long video he posted (transcript below):

Quote

What’s up everybody, just wanted to give a special shoutout to my man Rodney McLeod on the nomination for Walter Payton Man of the Year. He is extremely deserving. He’s always been an amazing teammate, a great friend, and a great leader but what I love so much more about him is how he’s a leader — a leader in the community especially and how he is always striving to leave this world in a better place. He’s always so aware of the community and what the community needs and at the forefront of the fight for social injustice and where there is hurting and lack. Rodney and his wife, Erika, with their foundation — they do an amazing job of always trying to help meet the needs of people in the community, to improve lives, and I just have a lot of respect and love for Rod. I hope he wins this award. He’s very deserving. God bless you all. God bless you, Rodney, you deserve it man, and take care everybody.

#nationwideAd   - He gets paid for this when he labels the tweet. Sorry, but that is not just giving recognition my friend. If he was, that would not have been intentionally placed at the end of his tweet. Omit that one thing and he does not get paid. I would believe you only had this been done.

Idk maybe i think differently but if nationwide comes to me and like hey throw in #nationwidead and we give you a bonus after thanking Rodney I’d do it to. Think anyone would.

Now personally speaking since I was shouting out to Rodney and I made the money Wentz makes I’d probably gift to to Rodney and his family as a congrats. But that’s just me

I also try and stay on the fence on players as much as possible edon’t know the situations and what’s going on we hear story from the media from so called sources that won’t be named.

On a different topic listened to Siri talk to Dave in his 1 on 1. Sounded good want to see him back it up now.

But gotta love the talk about holding everyone accountable and really pushing the fundamentals. Actions speak louder though we shall see

At this point the only thing I am focusing on is how well he plays this upcoming season.  Can the new coaching staff get through and connect with him, can they get him to elevate his game.  That’s all that really matters ... not what he says or doesn’t say.

That is SELFISH!!! He makes enough as it is???? If someone you knew died and you sent condolences, would you plug the funeral home because you own stock in it?

Disagree. That is not the culture we try to have here. It should be about TEAM, not individuals and let's recall he has said NOTHING to the fans about ANYTHING for 50 days? I'm all with Stine on this one. It shows Wentz's BS attitude

BG93, Wentz has not spoken to anyone for 53 days. Not one word thanking Pederson for help in getting him a SB ring. Not one word to us fans who support him. No, he plugs in a tweet, which he gets paid for... You think this is OK? Seriously? Wow....

Seems most feel the same as you.  Listening to Joe and John on WIP and earlier Cuz on the Fanatic and all saying the exact same.
