5.  The quote from WIP with Garappalo was a week ago.  All this soap opera stuff that you feed into has already been played out here.  " Wentz is the worst human being to walk the planet, already explored and talked about 24/7.  Nothing new.

Like ASG said a couple days ago, "Pathetic!"

Don't understand about drafting bu's - you draft to improve the team. It's up to the team to coach and develop guys into starters. Between Howies' picks, lack of development and players going on to other teams and doing well, Howie and the coaches haven't been doing their jobs.

BU's should be late rounders, UDFA's DITRS maybe a FA or 3. We replaced about everyone, let's see if Howie can lose his ego a bit

The Wentz situation is strange. We took this young, religious, humble kid from a nothing school. He does well, says and does all the right things, he gets paid early. Then there's smoke in the locker room - players and coaches. We coddle him, give him buddy coaches and he whithers from competition? Thought you competed in football just as you do in life. Wentz is young, does he really think he's earned the type of recognition guys who have been in the league and earned respect have? Those guys have fought, competed, never backed down from a fight and do it ye in and yr out. They understand the business, that new players are there to compete for their jobs. They didn't get to where they are by whining and stamping their feet. Wentz needs a good dose of reality. He can still become the leader of this team, but only if he earns it - this and every year.

Mic drop

Pitts(STUD TE-see Kelce), Moehrig-starting S, Cox-starting LB, Weaver(edge) Could be a starter or could be soon, Grimes-WR, nice bookend for Reagor, should compete right away to start. Tough kid fights for the yards, Bynum-CB, could be a possible starter(too soon to know but the potential is there) Al Blades-CB, a WIP but HUGE upside. Those are my draft picks. Then grab Mack in FA to team with Sanders

I want Howie to give this board the keys to the war room HAHAHAHA

I'm liking the "other than WR" pick and Pitts is a good one. I don't see WR to be that big of a weakness and the draft is deep there. I said nearly a yr ago the 2020 season was going to have a big asterisk and it would be a good yr for developing players and a partial rebuild. We'd be further along if we'd done it then.

But why would he want to play here when he will have better teammates elsewhere?   He got beat up playing for this organization that didn't give him squat for help.   Why would he be want to stay so badly.  Look at how he is the villain here.   No brainer to want to go to Indy with that squad and coach as compared to this situation here.

Maybe you should focus in the organization making it an environment where players want to play here.  Because I agree with you in wanting that fron the player... but I believe it's the responsibility of the organization to make it that way. The Eagles need the old Wentz, he doesn't need the Eagles.

You are so off base. The problem is the owner and GM trumping the coaches .....leading to the coddled franchise QB. Didn’t give him squat? They gave him everything. His buddy as a coach. He went above the coaches heads straight to talk to the FO and owner. He got a mega contract...really paid. Not sure what else a team can do for one player?

IDK bud, can it get much worse? Anyone have Jjaw on a mock ANYWHERE??? Would we totally ignore the LB and CB positions? I mean for YEARS? Don't think we would allow that in here. Anyone here totally clammoring to get JP re-signed after his release? Anyone love Suds so much you want to keep him annually?

Should not be "either or", it should be all for one like it was in '17. Wentz let us down. Say all you want about the Oline and of course you would have a point. Sure that wasn't fun, then again as a 5 year pro you do NOT miss wide open receivers (you know those rare times when you have time to throw?). So,no top flight WR's,fact remains when they gave him windows, he failed too much for a 5 year vet and from what I have heard, he was changing the already pedestrian, sad play calls to even worse play calls at the LOS. We don't NEED Wentz, we NEED a coherent QB. If that is Wentz, fine, if that is not, then we go elsewhere and sorry, but he looked mostly incoherent all year. Can he get that mojo back? We don't know. I wanted Wentz pulled in week 4. Mostly new staff, let's see what they can do. Can't be worse than the last crew. All we can do is wait. Siri has not committed to a starter, good for him. He shouldn't have to be under pressure due to high salaries or FO pressure to play the golden boy. I HOPE he can be fixed, but that is on HIM,since he made no attempts to fix things during the season. ALL QB's have bad games, maybe a slump, but not 12 weeks worth. Let's see if Siri can work with him, but it has to work both ways. I "assume" those 2 have talked already as to the expectations.

Much worse? That remains to be seen. Then No, No, No & No!

Weird, not sure why that happened

So I’m still assuming we won’t go CB round 1 likely go O so WR possibly Pitts.

Think we have to go CB in two Samuels Jr., Horn, Kendrick that would be great starting opposite slay and possibly future #1 down the road.

NFL Mock Draft Roundup: 8 different options for the Eagles at pick No. 6 - Bleeding Green Nation

This article somewhat craps all over the idea of taking Pitts.

I am hoping we trade back, grab a corner at 9 or so, and get an extra third rounder. This draft appears to be really lacking top end talent but is super deep.

I will stand by my mock Pitts, S(Moehrig), LB(Cox). Trade Ertz for a pick. Interesting they had 2 QB's though. I read the top twitter comment about "Taking a TE in 1 is like taking a RB in 1" SO I want to ask this fool would you turn down a Barkley, Zeke or similar in round 1? Pitts will be a STUD. We can trade Ertz and even Goedert if we wanted to. We can see what Kelce contributes to the KC offense. Besides they are bulkier with less injuries which always seems an issue for us at WR. Does it really matter who gets 1k yards a TE or a WR? Deep WR class(not so deep TE class), I have NP taking a WR in round 5 even, so for me the rush to grab a WR is on the back burner. We'll add one,but this WR class is deeper than usual

Then I’d rather wait till round 2 for a CB not waste a top 10 pick on a guy just cuz. I’m not overly impressed with the top guys at CB and we don’t have a track record of drafting CBS in round 1 let alone the top 10.  I just don’t see us taking CB in the top 10 if we for some reason trade down to 15ish or back maybe in that spot. Otherwise I just have far to many other players rated higher over the CBs.

hell I see Parsons as more likely then CB in top 10

I’ve stated before I’d Parsons is available at 6 he should be the pick think he is top 3 player in the entire draft getting him at 6 is a steal and anchors our D for years to come.

Pitts reason I’d be ok with him is I think A. Siri would use two TE sets and B. Think Pitts can fit the bigger slot guy that Siri seems to favor. So even though he is listed TE i personally at least view him more as just a pass catcher.
