Yep, each season speaks for itself. And so does each roster. And who is ultimately in charge of putting each seasons roster together? If you are going to give the man credit for winning a Superbowl with 23 players injured during the course of the year, he also gets the criticism for going 9-7 with 23 players injured last year. His roster in both cases. Just the way I look at things, fan or not, but I come from a generation where the buck stops here. No excuses.

IDK,when you lose guys like Reich, they aren't so easy to replace

My talk was never about who got hurt and the impact but the fact it wasn’t just old guys that missed time lot of young guys missed time

My question on my original comment was " Who was the one who brought in all the old guys". No where did I say that only old guys were getting hurt. That is a figment of your imagination.

Who's job is it to find his replacement?

We had so many injuries last year we just couldn't compete but who brought the old men in here to begin with?

No how could I mistake this comment for you saying the old men are the reason why we are hurt lmao

Lynch is the best... SF about to go on historic run.  Ham called it first.  I can back him up.

You are entitled to your opinion but if I had my choice for GM it would be John Schneider of the Seahawks. He has been with the Seahawks as a GM since 2010 and has won one Super Bowl, lost another and made the playoffs many times plus more importantly, he has beaten the Eagles all 7 times his teams have played them. Six times with Russel Wilson at the helm and one time without him. Got to admire a GM like that.

Okay guys, here is another stock tip from the club. DDOG  which is Datadog on the Nasdaq. These tips are not coming from me but an acquaintance who was an investor for 30 years before he retired and belongs to an investment comment board just like the one we use every day for the Eagles. It would be boring for me however these guys were all investors for a living and they sit around an comment on companies that are ready to take off. Last month he gave me CRWD Crowd Strike holdings INC and I purchased some shares on April 16th. Today they are up 18.3 percent. Yesterday they gave me DDOG and I purchased some shares and today they are up 22.06 percent in one day.  These old codgers are something. Anyway, I thought I would share these two stocks with any of you that are looking to jump on board. Feel free to do what you want. From one  Eagles fan to another. I'm not Warren Buffett and not trying to be either.

CRWD spied on the president. I don't invest in companies that hurt my country.Glad you are up,but not gonna do it for moral reasons

LOL well everyone was shocked we won the SB,then didn't repeat.Howie did not fire Reich,he was lured away as most are.A SB is a mix of everyone at every spot, when that is disrupted, you cannot expect the same outcome when the players and staff have changed

Isn’t your standard for a GM 5 years to win a SB he is well past that line.... Also terrible at drafting the lines of his team why you seen Seattle spend a 1st on Clowney why they traded for Max Unger plenty of failed OT picks.

The one thing I will say about the Super Bowl and winning more of them is that the Gold Standard or template actually resides in New England. I am no fan of New England however I will give Belichick is due. He understands psychology very well. Most football players want that ONE Super Bowl victory in their careers as a crowning achievement to their careers and will jump through any hoops required to win it. Now getting them to jump through the same hoops to win Super Bowl number TWO isn't as easy as their minds now turn to the large paydays and making as much money as they can until their careers are up. Oh sure there are a few players in the league that are worried about their legacies but not as many as you might believe, Belichick understands this and that is why he keeps those few players that will work just as hard for their second ,third and fourth Super Bowls and jettisons the rest as quickly as he can for new hungry players.

I make exceptions for those GM's that have an undefeated record against my team.

John Schiender 10 years

8 winning seasons 8 playoff appearances

10-7 in the playoffs

1-1 in the SB

Howie Roseman 9 years(excluded 2015 wasn’t in charge)

10-14

3 winning seasons 3 playoff berths

0 wins playoffs

16-19

3 winning seasons 3 playoff berths

4-2 playoffs

1-0 SB wins

Overall 6 playoffs in 9 years

4-5 playoff record

1 SB won

So is John a better GM maybe slightly do I see it as drastic nah not really do I think there are far better GMs then both guys yea

I didn't know that GB. This is what I had on them.

In May 2014, CrowdStrike's reports assisted the United States Department of Justice in charging five Chinese military hackers for economic cyber espionage against United States corporations.[11] CrowdStrike also uncovered the activities of Energetic Bear, a group connected to the Russian Federation that conducted intelligence operations against global targets, primarily in the energy sector.[12]

After the Sony Pictures hack, CrowdStrike uncovered evidence implicating the government of North Korea and demonstrated how the attack was carried out.[13] In 2014, CrowdStrike played a major role in identifying members of Putter Panda, the state-sponsored Chinese group of hackers also known as PLA Unit 61486

If that was the case then why did Roseman hire Jim Schwartz?

I would take Belicheck.   Prior to that... Jimmy Johnson... Prior to that Bill Walsh.    I'll go with the guy with the most titles in each era.

Doug Hired on Jan 18th 2016 ... Schwartz hired on Jan 19, 2016.

To be honest.... if we are just talking drafts and players.... I think Buddy Ryan was pretty good for us.  Lets be honest, we sucked when he took over.  There was no free agency ( I think a lot of people forget that)  You had to do everything via draft ... which if you have ever heard that Seth Joyner story, Buddy was going to select Erik Williams instead of trading up for Antone Davis.   Could have been a major difference in how everything turned out.  Larry Allen started out at OT, he was a turnstile at the beginning... getting Williams probably allowed him to move to G.  Imagine Williams here instead of being like the only guy who gave Reggie trouble.  Who knows what else could have changed.    But that time was different.  Between no free agency and the NFC East being an all time great division... blows away the NFC West or anything else we have seen recently. I think strictly drafting or GM, Buddy did pretty well.... much different ownership too... can you imagine Lurie making the player pay for their own socks????

Wasn’t part of the inner workings of that hire nor was anyone on this board all speculation... For all we know Doug could have told Howie who he wanted as his DC if he hired and Howie made the move happen. Could have been Howie or could have even been Lurie....

But 2016 was 2016 and now is now and fact is Doug hired his staff for better or worse...Sith maybe the exception of the D side where I’m sure he listened mostly to Schwartz

(see Ukraine). And I am not being political here.I would feel the same no matter who the pres was,and although I like a good profit like anyone, morals stop me,because IMO my principles won't be sacrificed for a buck. And as of yet, none of the Ukraine stuff has been proven yet,but it casts enough doubt that I would not invest in it.Just personal opinion

Curious that you didn't name them though. I have Schneider currently rated as the second best GM in the NFL right behind Belichick. Not just because of his record although he was one play away from winning two Super Bowls. He, is good at drafting talent in the later rounds.

I will recognize your picks for who they were and are but I am always looking forward with the team for the next GM. That lets Walsh, Johnson and Belichick out of the equation.

I mean Belicheat was the main guy I was referring to as way better... Case be made for Veach in KC as well GM in 17 has probably the best QB in football and a SB ring. Personally more impressed with NO Loomis and Peyton over Seattle especially what they have done over a longer body of work

Really the thing I don’t get is the praise for one guy when he is vastly similar to our current guy.... And you just excuse the 5 year window you have for all other GM to win a SB for him lol

I’m curious as to what happens with JP I know we are one of like 4-5 teams said to be interested in him and talking to him
