We keep adding late round CBs and keep wondering why we can’t ever have good CBs. Maybe new staff can get more out and are better scouting them but rather really invest at CB for once. Only guy we have is Slay and he is already 31.

Did you watch the 2 vids I posted???? Those should be late round CB's. We're not fixing all this with 1 draft. There are numerous viable CB's all through this draft,I see no need to take one at 1,just like I no longer see the need to take a WR at 1(see I CHANGED ALL BY MYSELF!!!)

How do you account for all the players that left but did well on other teams?

Staff, and we replaced most of them

Except you aren't going to give your QB any confidence with a D pick. He can't throw to Parsons and if we don;t get target openings for our QB(whom ever that is). And if we don't fix the QB to pass catcher problem,it won;t mean diddly because the defense will once again be on the field for 40 minutes. So,pick your poison lol. Our goal before was to :get Wentz weapons" We all agreed on that. SO let's finish what we started

Let Wentz go and get the best player. The goal should be to get the best players.  QB factory, a defense built to play with a lead, winning the salary cap bowl...  anything else that leads to not taking the best player is a mistake.

What talent we DID have was in the mash tents

Also won’t matter who is a pass catcher if the QB can’t hit an open target or if the D can’t stop anyone. So I stand pat on my pick of Parsons the best player available

Lmao everyone has a good highlight video go look at Maddox highlights or Jalen Mills highlights.

BTW 93, just to toss this out. I tend to choose players that will have an effect on the MOST snaps. How many times is a CB targeted per game? 4,5,6? And how many times does a S have to cover the middle or defend the run? SO for me,I choose the player that takes the most snaps(all talent being equal). For me that is S and LB over CB. I'm sure we will add to the CB position, but getting Moehrig for me at least is my best play and I know you have a differing op and who knows how long Slay will stay around here?

And I say it's Pitts, because Kelce's don;t come around often

Why are we drafting them?

Welp, that's fine, but is it possible to do this year? That we don;t know. After the Goff deal,My hopes rose 1000%

Great, stop the run and get burned deep. We saw that movie already

Ok lmao you act like I’m against him I think Parsons is better and if both are there I’d go Parsons that simple to me. If we get Pitts I’ll be happy as well.

Yeah, just saying there are useful LB's in 2,3. TE.noone comes close later as far as talent,so I would take the TE and get a usable LB later rather than take a stud LB and have a shaky TE pick especially if Ertz is heading out of town

Yea I seen a SB win with that method. And still going to get burned deep becuase we have no CBs lmao.  And get teams to run down our throat at the same time

There are useful TE later as well no one comes close to Parsons it goes both ways lmao. On top of that we have Geodart at TE we have who at Lb an alright Singleton

So picture a GRONK/ KELCE TE duo- indefensible In my view, the matchups would be a  nightmare for any team

As I said, there are good CB's later,S's not so much

I'm finishing what we started and completing the offensive puzzle, you do what you want

And there are good S on our team already in McLeod and Wallace not so much at CB where we have ....

Lmao been doing that from the start your the one who seems to have issues with my point of view. Don’t see me complaining about your option to take a Pitts over Parsons or S round 2.

Like the TE argument, however, all you need to do to beat the Eagles is pass. We can survive w/ a later TE, our secondary can't stop the local high school.

I have no issues, you fight just to fight,I am offering MY POINT of view just like you!!!

Good CB's later, no stud TE's later. BTW Moehrig was the Thorpe award winner. Who else was  in the finals? The SAFETY from UCF and Surtain. I'll take the Thorpe winner thanks

Isn't a S part of the secondary? Did I miss something?

Who did well?  Relative to the rest of the league?

And that adds to my point... players on this roster are not talented compared to the rest of the league.  We have a lot of work to do.  However you feel about Doug or Wentz...  Howie put both in position to fail by not getting them enough to work with.

In fairness ...we have some good local high school teams!

Another point I will make is,how many CB's have we either ruined or not been able to develop? I understand we have a new staff now and I hope that changes, but as of now I do not know. We seem to do ok with S's(IDK why this is???). So,my need to avoid taking a CB really high depends on this factor and as of now, noone has shown me that my pick wouldn't be wasted . I'm wondering if S is under the DC while the CB's are under the secondary coach? Thats the only explanation I can think of
