I didn't know EVERY QB talked to the press?  Including backups like Wentz?

OK, Joe. Whatever you say. I am done discussing this. Have a nice day Joe...

Why are you so condescending? Why not just say what you feel without trying to put others down?

We have grown men focused on a hashtag, missing the big picture of the good Rodney McCloud and others from around the league have done... and how the league wants to promote that. worrying about a guy coming out to publicly lie or say he wants out, only lowering his trade value.    Don't you think that is a little condescending?

Perfect, we can get back to discussing actual football stuff.  Not hashtags,  ads, press conferences or jersey sales... which it seems like had become more important than the actual game itself lately.  There is a lot of work to do with this team, lots of player moves and things that need to be done. The off the field crap silly stuff shouldn't be a focus.

Why does he have to trash the organisation? Why can't he just say enough that leaves things open ended or commits to the team? Or says he wants to move on and seek a new challenge without trashing the team? There is a middle ground here you know.

Because it should be obvious he would prefer to move to a better situation.  Why does he need to say it and lower his trade value? Doesn't help the Eagles or us fans.  Ertz was basically in tears, not going to change the situation that the Eagles want and are going to get rid of him. Why go through the charade?   Thank everyone after the trade is complete and be genuine about it without the BS.

Yeah, looks classy to them if he pulls a Watson and starts trashing the organization publicly.

I never ever said this!!! You can't come to a mic and say, "due to MY issues and lack of performance, I think it' best for the fans and organization if we went our separate ways" Now how is that "trashing" the org????

GBFL, Are you up to the Reddit scheme? I bought some AMC shares. Hopping it takes off. We will see. Nothing to lose lol

Used to be a "player", now I just "set it and forget it" and reap in the divvys lol. I take some if I want to buy something and re-invest some and the divvys keep growing. When I pass, this will be for my GK's education and maybe a little left so my daughter can start this process over again

I have been thinking Wentz not speaking might be do to helping a trade possibly materialize. His agent, you would think, has his pulse on the situation. Got to know this situation is extremely difficult...with Wentz coming off a terrible year and the Eagles investment commitments in him.

The Ertz situation could get complicated also. After crying about leaving....what if the organization states we still have you here for one more season under contract?

Or we throw both in on the same trade.....one thing we always know....there will be drama.

Does Wentz already have his Thank You to the city speech ready?

We have been watching this all go down with the coaches. Especially the classier moves. These guys know the lowdown we aren’t privy to. They got interviews setup. We hear the interest in Staley as a coach in Chi-town. Wait what? Staley is still our RB coach. That’s why I always look between the lines as much as possible. It seemed fairly obvious when Staley wasn’t rewarded the HC job he was leaving. I could have seen him sticking it out a year. But the signs were there. Many players can take a lesson from how the coaches handle things.

You are saying Ertz wasn't being genuine? I think that showed a guy who desperately wants to be here and I think Wentz silence speaks volumes. The guy needs to go. He wants to go, the team should move him on and I think more and more fans now want him gone. It is just best for all parties at this point.

Siri’s press conference....🤕🙁 ....uninspiring would be the best I could say about it. The worst I can remember to open a job in this league. Absolutely fumbled his way through the whole thing.

Siri’s presser was so bad....Lurie had to come out and put the fires out by assuring everyone about the extensive process they went through on the coaching search. That way we all clearly understood all the qualifications of our new HC.

Is the hiring of all these young coaches a sign they expect significant Zoom coaching again this next season?

It's a total fiasco lol

Wonderful, but this is a new job for him,so it's hard to get the "ropes" down,He still is learning llike Ped was. And IDC how a HC handles the press. Some can work them, other can't. I will let his coaching speak for him

As an OC you don't really have the pressers to deal with. This is all new stuff for him,so cut him some slack. He will tow the company line in time lol

IDK-Ertz. Tears up cause he wants to stay, but presses for more money. If he wants to stay THAT bad, he will take whatever we offer him. Seems like he wants the big payday, which he is probably entitled to. But that won't be here I don't believe

The lack of success last year really hurt alot of peoples value(like Ertz). with an all new shiny staff,my thoughts are Ertz should "lay low" and see how this next season goes and go from there. Then we also have to consider the option of Pitts in round 1 which would be a business decision, not a personal one

My friend Bob, who used to be a regular on here 15 years ago, told me his father-in-law sold all of his GME stock the end of last year. Had he not done so, he would have made over 2 million.... Yikes!

Speaking of divvys, off to the bank to cash some checks lol

Well, Reid and Pederson were not all that great on the podium either. I will take the wait and see attitude for Siri. I could care less how he handles the press if he coaches the players well. Get them to perform better as the season goes regardless of records....

Washington supposedly offered more immediate help for Stafford’s services. Very interesting to speculate who these players were they offered.
