That’s what they call....a coordinator. HC’s job is to speak for the franchise. Or are we expecting Lurie to come out ahead of him to speak every time?

First presser as HC. Can we cut him some slack and not expect perfection on day one????

I think that would be a great situation to be in. You can either trade him and roll with Hurts plus the draft picks, or keep him and try to win around him.

But I think the worst strategy is make him a backup, or trade him for a second round draft pick this year just because he wants out. If they keep him, go into the season with the mindset that he is the #1 guy, and draft a guy at #6 who will make him look better.

Yeah,I have no clue what we do, or what's going on or where we are going, or if we have a plan. We are "evaluating"

I’ll take a terrible presser all day everyday as long as he can coach only thing that matters to me.

how does he prep the team, game plan vs opponents, adjust in games, CLOCK MANAGEMENT!!!! Etc.

I’ve been thinking it an I’ve seen articles on it but any else kind of excited to see what Siri can do with JJaw or is it just me???

Sure. We’ll just train a bunch of coaches for years. Maybe when we get done with that we can work on the players.

Only matters if the QB actually runs that play

At least we are staying under the coach salary cap. Hate to waste a bunch of money on the staff.

Man you seem to be a real negative Nancy right now lol 😂.... Why not idk see what the coaches/staff does first.

I mean hell AR, Doug weren’t the best pressers either one last how many years and the other won a SB... so yea maybe not the most important trait in a coach

Siri been coaching since 2004 that what 16 years as a coach before he become a HC

Doug Pederson started coaching in 05(first 3 years as a High school coach)became our HC after 11 years as a coach

AR started coaching in 82 never was a coordinator became our HC after 17 years of coaching. Was what 40-41 years old.

Ok well let’s review: Lurie and Rosie are running everything into the ground. They hired a puppet for a HC. So we should assume this gets our franchise QB to run the playcall instead of whining to the FO?

Frank Riech started to coach in 2008 became our OC after 8 years as a coach was an OC for two years

Steichen started coaching in 2010 has two years as an OC became our OC after 11 years as a coach

Ken Flajole started coaching in 1979. His LB coach replacement coached as an assistant for three years. But who needs experience? Let’s draft Parsons at six for all the wisdom developed from our LB coach. Nothing could possibly go wrong!

Lmao wow love the pure speculation on a coach you have seen nothing on yet.

Total speculation on my part to think this is centered on Lurie and Rosie being in control. Where could I have come up with these ideas?

So you think a college coach is an upgrade over an NFL exCoordinator becoming a position coach? Interesting.

Want to also talk about the Rams staff that had an avg. age of 38 and think still the youngest  head coach in the nfl in Mcvay he must have been a puppet the whole staff

Our Dline ranked where in getting pressure on the QB last season? Oh yeah third. That coach was a bum. Probably why they are interviewing him for a DC position right now in Green Bay.

You mean rocker the guy who also coached the Titans DL for 3 years. Yea I think he is a serious upgrade over a guy who ran a crap D and never coached DL before

My 2 cents is Jeff and Howie feel it will be easier to control a new HC and have him obey their commands than it would be to control an established HC.

So how long does this go on until we put football guys in charge?

Till Lurie replaces Howie or sells the team

Nah it starts with the play called. Like drafting Reagor to stay home and block, totally useless lol
