I’m curious as to what happens with JP I know we are one of like 4-5 teams said to be interested in him and talking to him

If JP comes back it will tell you a lot about the Birds true impression of Dillard.

If JP comes back it will also let you know that the Eagles missed their opportunity to draft one of the upper echelon Offensive tackles in an Offensive Tackle Class that won't be this good again for a while. That's the thing I noticed before the draft. The WR and Offensive linemen  class were the strong suit this year in the draft but the WR position is going to be strong again next year and the Offensive linemen position isn't. I am not writing off the two kids they picked this year but they certainly weren't on my radar and Offensive linemen are usually on my radar.

That was my first thought but this team is lacking serious depth at T for the first time in a long time... At least on paper not sure how they feel internally on the guys we have been grooming and really none of us can say whether they will be good or bad because have not really seen them in action(not against PS guys)

Remember Dillard was rated the top LT in his class. He gave up 0 sacks his senior year and I believe he gave up either 0 or 1 his junior year.

I could be wrong though as i'm going from memory and I have CRS these days

Cant Remember crap. (SHEET)

I would be interested in LOT Greg Robinson that Cleveland let walk.He was a round 1,#2 overall pick in 2014.He is only 27.if we took Peters(38 years old),it would be a single year.I would rather lock up a guy for 3 years. He can BU or take the job outright from Dillard. IDC who it is, just give me the best guy to protect my franchise QB, and the other would be an adequate BU.The key to this would be getting Robinson at a good price, in the event he ends up as a BU.If he ends up starting,Dillard will just have to work harder.I view this as a no lose scenario(barring injury) if we can sign him somewhere between starter and BU pay.We could always do a 1 year "show me" although the man doesn't need to prove anything, then sign him to a longer contract(this may be the best move)

SOOOOO IDK what we are waitng for.Maybe he wants too much loot? Kind of surprised he is still out there. Should be coming into this prime unless there is some outside issue I am not aware of,I would be all over this. And BTW we picked up a ROT from Auburn,so there is a little "connection"

Stash and a little for his closest friends.

Hey, only the medical weed shops are open up here, they closed the walk in ones. Kept the liquor stores open, there would have been riots!

I will recognize your picks for who they were and are but I am always looking forward with the team for the next GM. That lets Walsh, Johnson and Belichick out of the equation.

And you won't know who that next GM is until it all plays out.  I think you might be looking for just the " draft"   To me that is a small part of the equation... the GM needs to do much much more than just draft players.  With the dude in Seattle... Russell Wilson erases a lot of mistakes.

As for Jason Peters/ Andre Dillard.....  I think a lot of you miss the boat on what could be going on.  Not so much about Dillard .. .not so much about passing up a player in a historic class... .it's about the specific man Peters.   The owner, coach, his fellow OL    They are having a hard time letting go.  I don't think it's about Greg Robinson or any other 2020 draft pick at OT.  I think it's specifically about letting Peters go.  About weighing the options of having him here in the locker room, on the field for one more year, as Dillard can watch him, and the rest of the vets continue to want him around.     However you want to look at it, it's not a normal situation where it's bout all avenues of filling a position.  I think it's Dillard now, or Dillard next year after Peters keeps the spot.  I doubt any other choice crossed their minds, and I think it's more about Peters than Dillard.    If anything a big factor could be their desire for depth.  They could look at it as Peters/ Dillard ... or Dillard/ nobody.   They love depth at OT.   They love developing their own there... adding Peters not only gives Dillard another year, but also these young OTs they drafted.

JP even now is better than Dillard right now, well the last time we saw them. Knowing when to let go is important, JP easily has another yr in him.

Have to ask, who would you have more trust in protecting Wentz?

Peters if he is at the same level but also realize can’t expect JP to play 16 games so Dillard would still be key....

Have to agree with Joe though that JP/Dillard pairing sounds way better then Dillard/ and ???? Whoever we got right now.

Getting a lot of work done around the house, nothing going on in Eagles world.

Pedey saying the O will be different - duh!

This sucks.

I’m actually pretty excited to see our new look offense and defense. It really feels like there will be some massive changes.

Yeah Ham, think all of us are. If things were normal, we'd be seeing clips of practice, getting updates, etc. This S*CKS! If leadership would only have acted early and people stayed home, we'd be seeing it all now.

I'm sure the Eagles and other teams have been in touch w/ JP. Believe he'll be back.

Here in Maryland Ganja stores stayed open, You could use their delivery service or walk in, as you have to wear masks in public. Ridiculous people still getting locked up for weed.

Yeah the whole country wasted on pot.Excellent!!! China(or anyone) can walk right in while we are all high. Medicinal I have NP with, but we don't need future leaders who are high all the time putting "extra" oils in them, with access to launch codes. Kumbaya 🙄

Just as ridiculous that people are getting locked up for not wearing a mask

I have conflicted feelings about wearing a mask.  I was buying into some of Dr Judy Mikovitz take on this pandemic and the views on why we should not wear masks she had very strong arguments IMO. In Maryland its the law. The element of lawlessness seems to be growing  in America. I am not worried, sometimes you have to give the the people what they want. 80.000 Americans dead, AND it's only Beginning,  so you see until it impacts you personally who cares, how many die. It ain't me or mine. Is the attitude. The FAKE Coronavirus don't care where you're from, how much money you got, or what color you are. The rest of the world is into the second wave of this virus. I wonder how many more Americans must die. So the wealthy can continue to profit.  I recently lost my x's mother to this virus in NO. Soo many needless loss of American lives.
