I think we should trade down. Some possible competition for QBs dropping. But this could also change based on QBs available in FA....

Smith won the Heisman. If he had durability issues, he would not even have been nominated. He's 3 pounds less than Djaz(WHEEEEE) and other the playing HERE, I think Djax had some nice seasons? Smith has some NFL polished amazing moves and Alshon is not SLIGHT but he's never on the field either

Just because he did not get injured in College, you think he won't in the NFL? Last WR to win the Heisman was Desmond Howard. He was a return specialist. No real WR stats to speak of. He had 15 total TD's in his career, 8 as a WR. Yes, he was awesome as a returner, but you don't draft a returner in the 1st round unless you don't need anything at all for your team.....

I am not drafting a lightweight WR at pick 6. saying that HR probably will. We already have Reagor. We want another small WR?

Have to laugh about all the Wentz talk, esp after Schefty's "bombshell" - lol! All he said was A) It's only what he thinks, and B) He doesn't have any facts. Yet so many are running with it. I haven't heard anything from Wentz, not from the Eagles either. I haven't spoken with either, for all I know Carson could be working on improving his craft.

Just goes to show it's people who create the drama.

Yes, but all hove no experience at their current positions. That scares me. At least if you have a DC with experience, he can delegate the positional coaches there approach for their new position. What we have now is a cluster f#@k. LB, CB and DC are all new at their jobs as are WR, RB and OC on the other side. On top of that we have a new HC to oversee these? YIKES!

Which of our coaches don’t have experience at there respective positions. Minus Siri first time HC and Gannon at DC??? Can make the case for the Lb coach but he was the asst. Lb coach so not exactly no experience there and he was helping coach two pretty good LBs

Reagor isn’t that small he is what a solid 200-210 at 6ft.... also like a 4.3 guy... Smith is 6’1 170ish(listed at 174 in college likely smaller)... also reports saying he likely isn’t going to run fast like a 4.5 guy

I must have been mis informed GB. I was told only the DL and OL coaches had experience at their respective positions.... If you are right I take back that comment

Our Cb coach is from the Jets... we have a 2nd guy I don’t know about... Pretty sure Moorehead is staying as WR coach.

We got the former Chargers OC as our OC was also a QB coach

QB coach Johnson coached QBs in college and then became Florida OC played a pretty big part in Trask was also Daks QB coach.

TE coach think GBFL posted has coached TEs QBs and been an OC.

Don’t think we have a new RB coach yet.
LB coach as I posted was the asst. LB coach for the Vikings so never been the position coach but worked with them.

I want a guy who can score TD's

Said before Wentz needs a presser, but after 5 years of fan support , he refuses to do it. What does the silence tell you?

You think Smith is the best WR in this draft? OK, I feel Chase is a better choice. 30 more pounds of muscle on his frame...

IDK Stine, I don't have n injury crystal ball. He's 3 pounds less than Djax, who has made a few bucks in the NFL?

I get that. Just worries me is all. NFL is a whole new deal for a WR. Hey, he may the right choice. I would rather we go Chase at 6. Heck, I really want Parsons but we all know that isn't going to happen lol

No not at all I’m just stating thing I have heard and read.... I really have not looked at WRs much. Only guy I do know some about is Bateman the WR from Minnesota I did quite enjoy watching him play but think he is a project late 1 early 2 guy.

We have invest so much at WR already I want to see what these youngster got first before we keep drafting the spot. I won’t be mad if we get a Chase or a Smith or whoever but personally speaking I’d draft elsewhere

I would be fine with either or Waddle. Not too worried about it anymore. Pitts is a playmaker and I am now good with WR's taken in later rounds. We don;t throw to ONE guy anyway,so we just need a WR for 4,5,6 plays a game. This isn't Manning/Harrison here

You are right MJK. All is speculation because that is all we have. My only point about Wentz has been he should have made some sort of statement the end of last year. Now it would probably be best he keep his mouth shut as that time has past. Anyway, this will be interesting to see how everything pans out. I hope it works out great! But as long as we have HR around to screw things up I don't faith.....

Side note. People that understand they are at a weight disadvantage, learn body control to avoid confrontations. So I suppose it goes either way. Smith is also very limber and flexible, you can see that in the plays he makes. Now while injuries cannot be predicted, that is a certain skill set of "contact avoiding" that I'm sure he's had to deal with his whole football life. he seems "NFL ready" to deal with that. So IDK I would be fine with all 3 or NONE. Pitts and a later WR would be fine by me(I love Grimes!!! he rocks!)

Love Grimes later. His counterpart Toney will go before him, but Grimes makes plays. He's not a "flashy" type, but he will nuts and bolts, blue collar get it done. He was a round 5 pick,I suppose now he will move into late 3's, early 4,so I may be forced to remove him from my mock 😞

Well, I agree with BG93 about going defense in the first round. I would like to go defense the first 2 rounds to be honest... Just grab me a play maker. Something to be positive about next year...

Still struggling with my 3 pick lol Cox at LB or Gainwell at RB

Not me Wentz needs confidence(if he is still here) and Hurts needs "outlets" as he learns his craft. Thus Pitts is my pick and Moehrig at S is my round 2 pick

round 3 Jabril Cox at LB or Gainwell RB. We could use both of them lol

I'm, finding nice CB's in much later rounds. I found 2 I would have NP with in rounds 6,7 even(and I posted them both). So for me no rush on WR or CB. I'm sure we will snag some of those. To have a confident defense, the O needs to score. These guys cannot play 40 minutes a game
