6) Camryn Bynum-Cal 7) Al blades-FL these 2 are on my mock(and before you say it's too long to wait, check them out lol) BLades will be more of a WIP,but he has a HUGE ceiling. Our initial goal was "to get Wentz weapons" so I'd like to finish what we started

If I add a "stud" S in Moehrig in 2 and add Bynum at Cb,I would feel ok that we have at least improved our secondary( a never ending fluid process)

Not me Wentz needs confidence(if he is still here) and Hurts needs "outlets" as he learns his craft. Thus Pitts is my pick and Moehrig at S is my round 2 pick

Maybe we can get a WR cheap in FA? There seems to be so many around the NFL anymore. We really do not know what some of our WR's can do yet. Reagor was hurt allot of last year. JJaw was misused. We have others also that will gain with a year's experience. GB had 2  WR's on their 2nd year playing last season and they did not draft any WR's. Granted they had Adams, but he was hurt to start the season. I just think WR is not a priority like many do on here. Of course I will not get upset if they draft one. Just feel we would be better served going Defense. LB or CB....

Yep, Last time I believe those radio people!  They are terrible!!

The issue everyone seems to have is the coaches are young in age.
Siri is what 39 I think but they don’t mention the fact he has been coaching for 16 years. We hired AR he was what 40-41 been coaching for 17 years.

Or our OC he is 35 but been coaching for 11-12 years spent 2-3 years as an OC... Riech coached for 11 years spent 2 years as an OC before we hired him.

Johnson 33 been coaching for 10 years though was also a college QB was pretty decent was even a cover athlete for NCAA video game

My daughter gave me a quote once. "There is no failure if you try, you either succeed or you LEARN" How true

My 2 cents is Jeff and Howie feel it will be easier to control a new HC and have him obey their commands than it would be to control an established HC.

That may very well be the case. I always thought Laurie was a good owner...of course the previous owners Braaman and Tose weren't the best comparisons. I may have to revisit that opinion. I get that Laurie prefers someone he trusts executing his wishes even with Howie recent lack of competence, Howie is the guy he trusts. It's disappointing his SuperBowl winning coach wasn't extend a similar courtesy.

See this is it. Siri not putting his 100% backing behind Carson IS telling. If Carson is the guy then why not just back him? Nobody is going to give Siri ish for that. Carson has been the franchise QB and is paid to be the franchise guy so most people would expect him to be the starter. The fact that he hasn't declared that is, to me, telling. It shows that this team is not behind Carson and there is a very good chance that he gets traded.

Yahoo sports reporting that Howie is listening to offers from interested teams about Wentz . I have read from 2 other outlets that Wentz does not want to play in Philly. Howie knows if Wentz comes out publicly and says he doesn't want to play he could lose value It the same playbook Howie has always used. Reports that Wentz has a10 million dollar bonus coming up in the next few months. If they find Takers...hell NC you might have to modify your projections at least two 1st round picks🤒.

Yeah I still have no clue what we do with Goodwin(remember him) and this WR is SUPER deep. I am find with a round 5(would prefer a 4 pick but we dont have one) WR. even guys late like nico Collins from Michigan. No rush for me to reach at WR

Maybe young is what we need...... I really don't know much about these coaches, so as I said before I will hold my judgment at least for 8 games or more to be played...

LOL I was the one who got all this BS started by asking if we would take a QB in round 1. I even mentioned TRASK first if we were able to trade Wentz for another 1 pick lol(Trask at asy 15). I DO agree though, wentz's silence makes me believe he is outta here. If so,let's see what deal we can get. The Rams sold the farm to buy a barn lol,so that insanity gives me HOPE. I'll send Wentz to the Jets for the 2 pick. Take Fields or Wilson and Pitts at 6 and I'm good

I'm expecting them to be ready GAME ONE. if you notice siri is rounding up young guys he KNOWS or understands that fit his coaching style. We totally cleaned out the house and bought all new furniture

Said before Wentz needs a presser, but after 5 years of fan support , he refuses to do it. What does the silence tell you?

After all we know about how brutal the Philly fans and press are, you really need to ask?

Know if it were me I'd be aware of what's being said, my focus would be on improving my game. Doesn't help the Eagles or Wentz to be saying anything right now no matter what's happening, even if it's nothing. It is the off season.

Reich had very high praise for Siri

True. The silence tells me though. if he was "team tough" he woulda been out there. After saying nothing for 50 days,it's too late now,so yep may as well keep your trap shut at this point. Offseason with SEVERE shake ups in the staff,so that's not "nothing"

The next 5-6 wks are normally some of the most boring, so the smoke - or lack of - gives us something to sniff around. We'll know a lot more when FA gets here, the league yr and contract due dates - that's when the fun begins.

I jumped on the Reddit train and am getting run over.... I have around 500 shares of AMC at average price of $10.73 and it is currently trading at $7.19!

At least I am doing well on my other stocks so am actually up today.... Not sure how that happened lol

Only matters if the QB actually runs that play

You don't think they run about 50 RPO Read option type plays with Hurts.   Gonna be exciting college offense to watch.

So how long does this go on until we put football guys in charge?

After Howie trades away his only pro bowl draft pick since 2013, that guy kills it playing with legit NFL players instead of the garbage Howie got him... then the owner will have no choice.    It's my main reason for wanting the trade..  we need to go in the tank , and Howie needs the egg on the face for the situation he created here.  A lesson you would figure the career of Donovan McNabb and the results or lack there of due to years of James Thrash, Todd Pinkston and that Reggie guy we took with the AJ Feeley trade...compared to 2004 and 2017... the years with TO and the other solid group.     " coddle"  a guy with teammates is the strategy that should be used...ie Tampa and KC.   You see Wilson and Rodgers can't even do it on their own.

Unless he has T Hill speed, I would not draft a small WR this early. He may work out terrific, but you really want to draft a 170-180 pound WR at #6? I would much rather go Chase in this scenario. If not Chase grab BPA. Pretty simple, no?

The scary part is I think we are talking 162 or something

I am not convinced we go QB round 1. Do all of you feel this QB class is that strong? Maybe we wait until we see if Hurts is the QB for the future before committing to another. We may have to see if Wentz is here or not. No guarantees that another team offers what HR is asking for. Just too many questions that need to be answered before we jump into the QB pool.....

I’m not round one either. Trask falls to the second round and we run to the podium I’m thinking.

Welp, I'm sure Howie is burning midnight oil figuring out the different scenarios(like we are). I was surprised so many teams went after Stafford and the insane deal the Rams gave up,so that renewed my sense of HOPE. I think the Lions got a 1 and another 1 next year? I would be thrilled for just a 1 this year for Wentz. I can't wait around to see if Hurts is good. In this scenario I will draft one and let them battle it out in camp. IF hurts is so good,he will win the job outright(or vice versa) but I'm tired of "waiting around" Let's be PRO active instead of RE active

Stafford garnered Goff, 2022 first, 2023 first and a third this draft

I wonder what we would be talking about had we drafted Jefferson round 1 and Chinn round 2 last year..... Wentz is in a better place. We are not talking about drafting a WR in round 1. Maybe we still have coaching changes or maybe not.  There was allot of damage done with the draft last year. Let's hope it does not continue in 2021....

Ham, you think Detroit did not want a 2021 1st round pick because of lack of film on college ball last year?

Have to laugh about all the Wentz talk, esp after Schefty's "bombshell" - lol! All he said was A) It's only what he thinks, and B) He doesn't have any facts. Yet so many are running with it. I haven't heard anything from Wentz, not from the Eagles either. I haven't spoken with either, for all I know Carson could be working on improving his craft.

Just goes to show it's people who create the drama.

But....in the past...he was the Welcome to Philly guy. Last we heard he isn’t happy here. Rumor that came from his camp. Listen to Siri. Best he could stammer out was a competition. Wentz isn’t coming back for a competition. I was sort of on the fence before. But now all signs point to Wentz moving out.
