The "science" is only who's OPINION you believe.That is not science.I have stayed home also,the objective was to flatten the curve.We have done that,then the power grabbers move the goalposts because they are power hungry arseholes. Yes... this is the Eagle was of thinking for years.... why do we forget this.  They like depth at OT.  They have Peters, Dillard and Big V... losing Big V means if you lose Peters you are down 2 guys.   I don't think Dillard is as much of a concern as it is... the idea of ... Peters/Dillard ... vs Dillard/ ?   Is Peters better than Dillard in 2020?  IDK for sure?   Is Dillard better than ? at backup .... uhhh YEP!     

This is a team that drafted a 2nd string QB in round 2.  They value the positions they value... and they value those more so than the usual.   The mindset of depth at QB and OL is an Eagles thing.    Think back to Dream Team... look how they put depth at spots an paid for it.... OL/DL/Vince Young at QB ... CB ..etc.     Yet look at the scrubs at LB and S.   That's how they role.  

Rumors are the 2 players they considered at pick 53 were a S and a RB .... QB wins for the Eagles every time in that battle.    If they had a OL or DL as their top choice at 53, probably wouldn't have taken the QB there.

Oohhhhh  I hear that argument...seems like life of American citizens are worth a lot less than those in rest of the free world . I accept my opinion means diddly squat to the politicians. @mjkline1958 I believe in the science. The only thing that will show the error of our ways. The mountain of Dead Americans will continue to rise.  Maybe when that death count surpasses the amt of death due to auto accidents people might listen. I don't expect it though. I will pray for everyone. Most of my family work as First Responders and are told they're Critical people to their Hospitals and Corporations . Heroes they say....To me it just another word for Expendable. My family is NOT Expendable. I can see how my Military service has influenced their desire to be honorable and fight to help save lives. Agreed, from the start it has been about Money not Americans safety or welfare, what could have been,  or what should have been is not a conversation people want to have. Somehow Coronavirus has become a Political virus. There is a large segment of our population that wouldn't or couldn't shelter in place.  The ones that risk their lives to keep our grocery shelves stacked , our truck drivers and delivery people Still being paid Peanuts to risk their lives. No hazard pay for these folks.... We still won't pay them for their efforts. We call them our... heroes.Sounds like BS to me. I won't yell or scream anymore. Be careful what you ask for, you might get it. All I can hope for is a cure before any more of my family  members die from this Fake Virus.

Yeah,very tough as this is unprecidented,so there is no former protocol to follow.The regular flu also kills more annually,so why is this suddenly a "panic" situation?.Sorry,but I want to cancel my socialism trial membership.it does not work for me.What is the point of living if you are afraid to be alive?.Everyone 'assumes" there is a cure,that is not fact.Maybe we will never find it. Nope,I won;t be forced into a shot,nor will I have the govt trace my every move(they do enough of that now).I would expect this behavior in NK,but not here.Small biz shut down.Those are the people that could actually CONTROL their environments and stop the spread,but NO,NO Wal-Mart MUST be open!!! Totally backwards,it's the big box stores that should be shut down.They have the funds to weather this storm,small biz owners do not.BTW it is reported the virus can be picked up on clothes and shoes,so what do you do live in a  bubble suit? I never said the virus was fake.But we are learning now the people really at risk were in trouble already on some other issue.The elderly are certainly the most susceptible to dying from this,because normally they have more "issues" than young people.Now Calif.Wants LA to stay locked down for 3 more MONTHS.Do you think that is going to happen? While this is going on,we can see increases in suicides,domestic violence and a host of other issues that are causing deaths as well by being forced into staying in place.We cannot keep borrowing trillions of dollars,we didnt have those trillions to start with.At this rate,the national debt becomes unsustainable,which if not corrected(by opening the economy) will lead to total monetary collapse(see the Weimar Republic).Meat costs are already skyrocketing,TP/sanitizer is tough to find,what happens when you go grocery shopping and the shelves are ALL bare?(Hint-there will be alot of deaths).And so,people will die either way. Actually more will die unless we re-open our businesses.Once again,I am sorry for your loss,but don't let it cloud reality.More will die if we stay locked down,lawlessness will ensue,then you have a military state,and we become North Korea where the govt can tell you when you can piss and you must comply or,like China,you simply "disappear".Can't happen here? Now,back to football............................If we thought JP was usuable,even as a BU,why are we waiting? JP could be a useful BU elsewhere, or even start the season.I could see this for us if we feel Dillard is close,but not there yet.He has the unenviable position of replacing a pro bowler. Never easy.In fact Dillard doesn't need to be a pro bowler(although it would be nice),he just needs to be "adequate".We put the monkey on Dillard's back by releasing JP.I believe they are giving Dillard a chance to show he can take over before we re-sign JP(if we did).He should have shown us that already,but apparently the JP door is still ajar or we would not even be discussing this

BTW,yes your family members are heroic.Not all wars are fought with guns,so kudos to them and "risk pay" should be done ASAP as those are truly the essential workers,as are truckers and grocery personnel.We are finding out that sports figures are NON essential? I hope we are

We can agree on many of your points. I haven't taken a flu/vaccine shot of any kind since my military days. According to Dr Mikovitz there were many toxic additives in those Vaccines that Big pharmacy and govt officials made billions off of by getting Americans sick. Like you say everyone assumes there is a cure. There is just NOT enough money in a cure just yet. More need to die. Small businesses are purposely being destroyed. Small business of less than 50 employees destroyed, Shut down , because most our stimulus money went to Big Business, and Corporations.  Oversight efforts turned out to be BS ,as Big Business continue to profit Trillions of dollars for our future given to corporations and the wealthy.  There is No Trickle down effect in our society, just greed. I just got a cell phone for the first time in almost 5 years, because of my new grandson.  They want to use the Coronavirus, to create a tracking system that  we all know will threaten ALL our freedoms. We've seen that trick before. That is how they used the Patriot Act.  Our Democracy is being sold to the highest bidders right before our eyes while we as Americans are being manipulated with hate, lies and misinformation to keep us divided. United we stand Divided we fall.

Yeah,back to football lol. We have a decision to make.We still have Dillard on his rook contract,we could make him sit and take JP back. Or we can put the onus on him to produce.That is what the staff is weighing right now in my view.Getting JP back would be a snub to Dillard and a "you're not ready" vote(lack of confidence). If JP is willing to split time 50/50,I could see that happening,but we would have to not pay him full starter salary.I believe this is the issue at hand,the monetary side and "keeping the peace" in the locker room

I feel we should take JP back right away.Dillard will just have to understand the unknowns of the situation right now are the reason,not that we don't have faith in him.JP can wind down as the season wears on allowing JP to retire with dignity and Dillard understanding the decision we made was not a lack of confidence,merely the situation all teams are placed in. You go with the tried and true until Dillard has the time to show us he's got this once this "crisis" has passed.The question for me is,what would JP play for? If it's full price,I would have to pass.IF we paid him full price,basically that relegates Dillard to the bench,so that is another dilemma we have.I also do not know if we have the loot to pay him as of now. 

In Kelce's interview he said Dillard's fine but needs more power, others say he's not mean enough - kinda tough for an NFL player. Both good reasons to bring JP back with built in explanations. Also gives Dillard something to strive for within himself to improve upon without him feeling bad about himself or the team. After QB, blind side OT is arguably the most important position on the team, Dillard understands that.

JP is old,this is a difficult call.I believe we should bring JP back as you do.Dillard will just have to be the BU.We need to be 100% confident before we turn it over to him. Do we have the loot to pay JP even? I did not check
