I’m the only one that wants to roll the dice with the Heisman guy in Hurts? Sure he didn’t win because of Burrows record breaking season....but he wins the Heisman any other season for sure.

The question should not be what we would do but what the FO will do... different questions all together 

If we trade our franchise guy in Wentz foresee Howie and Lurie getting a new shiny toy in the top 10. Right now I’m sticking with Zach Wilson as that guy 

I think Wentz AND Hurts were in a tough spot this last season. I don’t think " Hurts was awesome!” I think he looked really fast escaping and running for his life. I don’t remember Wentz throwing for over 330 yards. Hurts did it in two of his three starts. (Because yes....I’m not holding Tank game against him)

All right my current mock draft assuming Wentz is traded(guessing 20th or 21st pick as of right now considering bears/Colts are the hot names)

#6- I got BYU QB Zach Wilson- not saying a completely agree with this move but it definitely feels like a Howie/Lurie play trade your franchise QB try and cover it up with the flashy high QB pick.

20/21- Rashad Bateman WR Minnesota strongly considering him here getting the QB and a partner and crime with back to back picks(subject to change this pick).

2nd round- Asante Samuel Jr.( think possibly Horn as well) but think of we stick with a heavy man team Asante is the better fit.

Wilson isn’t going to be there at six. Especially if we have traded Wentz.

But I’m assuming you are saying this is your prediction and not what you’d do? What would you do? 

I’m thinking the Jets trade 2 for a team to take Wilson. Seems to be a fairly accepted opinion by many.

I’d say put any of these college QBs up against Hurts. I don’t see any of them that blow him away. He did more than any of them. Went through serious adversity. Guy responded like a champ. Hurts is a warrior!

Even if Wentz is traded I don’t want a QB this year.  None of them scream franchise QB.  Give another year to get a better evaluation of Hurts before pulling the trigger on another. Your other picks are tremendous though ... I love both Bateman and Samuel Jr. and then maybe Parsons at 6 (I know I know no 1st rd LBs since Robinson in ‘79).  But I also still like Chase at 6 which would likely eliminate Bateman from consideration.

As for the QB I actually think few scream franchise guy. I completely understand the build the team take though. But my biggest thing is I can’t see Lurie/Howie not taking a QB sitting on the top 10 after we traded away Wentz. I’d love for them to shock me though

I mean the Bears are dumb enough to give us a good haul. You’d have to think Wentz would lose it if Foles is still there. Not sure anybody else would trade for Foles.

My understanding isFoles is 4 mil base salary and 4 mil roster bonus for the next two seasons. 2022 base isn’t guaranteed.

Considering they are saying the Bears are offering lot more then expected in reports for Wentz would indicate that its way more then Foles and a 1st...

1st rounder seems to be the minimum from reports I read for Wentz.

Not sure how much is Rosie playing things though. Trying to push for that extra something. Leaking through the media to see if anyone else will bite. My bar was a second round pick. So I’m giving Rosie props for anything over that.

Foles walks in the door the starter you’d have to think though

We are not sure of anything everything is speculation. For every report I seen that Wentz is being shopped I’ve seen just as many saying that’s false. Nobody knows what’s going on behind the scenes. Just a guessing game but if you believe that the bears offered something for Wentz then you have to believe they then offered significantly offer what was expected as well which was reported with it. 

Andy Reid’s son(KC LB coach)was just involved in a multi car crash that was likely his fault that has a five year old boy in critical condition.

Let’s try it: we brought back our SB MVP hero in exchange for Wentz. Many Eags fans would think him worth a solid return as part of the deal. We also drafted a QB with the second pick last year. But what we really need to do is use a top ten pick on a QB.

  Nah.....terrible optics. Pretty much sounds like Rosie failing on every end. Hurts, Wentz, Foles and the sixth pick.

Interesting thing on Foles and a 1st is we wouldn't be forced to take a QB in rd 1. We could win with Foles/Hurts.
