Btw you know we COULD take Pitts,then maybe a Trask or Mac Jones later in 1 right???? Pitts and Trask already played together and we have a coach from FL.Kills 3 birds with 2 picks lol

Wanted Samuel in the 2nd if we didn't go there in the 1st, which I didn't expect.

I do wonder w/ the new coaching staff if the board is made up by positions and the quality of player at those positions vs the others. Then again we need so much there are very few positions we couldn't go BPA at this yr.

Right now you are just being the typical emotional Philly sports fan, the anger towards Wentz, in why he couldn't take 2 dumpster fire teams to the playoffs.   But you know the real issue lies within the organization and not putting the guys ( Reid, Wentz) in the best position to succeed.

Do you foresee Jeff Lurie watching a future AFC championship game where Reid is coaching and Wentz is playing.. and the light bulb finally goes off?

IDK if we can't find a QB trading for Foles and taking Trask and having Hurts, we're in worse shape than I thought

Yeah but see, in your scenario we take Wilson to SIT him because we traded for Foles? between FOles and Wilson who are you sitting? My scenario doesn't waste a first on a QB that will sit

I'm fine taking Trask and letting him sit and get better behind Foles. I cannot sit my first pick QB at 6. It would be tough enough sitting a first round QB at 20 and BTW who is the guy we got from the Gators?

I think Foles is part of the trade mainly for Wentz. I think Foles will be the penciled in starter but will be open competition. But wouldn’t shock me to see a Wilson as the day 1 starter

Pick up Pitts and Trask,trade for Foles. Trade Ertz and Hurts for more picks

Can't see being angry at injuries - they'll happen and we just have to accept them. Can be angry at Howie for his bad drafts, who he passed over in those drafts, bad contracts, bad FA's. Very angry at Jeff for allowing it to happen, and not just once.

No offense to Foles but not like he was lighting it up why he was the backup in Chicago lol. Came in as the backup played then got benched again.  Definitely it your franchise QB but a hell of a backup

IDK sounds "iffy" IMO Can't say it won't happen, just saying thats not a good look to trade so we can "dump Wentz off"

Lost his job in Jax after one year signed in Chicago to be the backup... Became the starter for a few weeks then got benched again for Trubisky... I mean dudes a backup a damn good one. 
 

See it as a win all around for Philly Wentz is traded. Gain multiple picks get a top tier backup in Foles and can draft our QB of the future. 

Foles thrived in our old O, we know what to do to make things work for him again. What I like about him and Hurts is they weren't looking for "their guy" like Wentz did too often. They understand the play, process the D, go through their reads and act more quickly than Wentz does. Wentz quite often winds up holding on to the ball waiting for the play to develop. Coaches could have helped by going to the quick pass game and not abandoning the running game too early. Expect Siri to have our QB's getting the ball out fast to all the playmakers and keeping a decent balance w/ the RB's in both the run and pass.

I like Fitz too and not concerned about age.  What you’re looking for is nothing more than a short term fallback plan should Hurts completely crap the bed (in which case you draft a QB high in 2022).  If Hurts flourishes then the backup doesn’t see the field (unless due to injury).
