Foles being the SB hero with a statue out front. Wentz can’t handle the city. Hurts is better going forward than Foles.  All bad ideas rolled together on that thought.

Right now you are just being the typical emotional Philly sports fan, the anger towards Wentz, in why he couldn't take 2 dumpster fire teams to the playoffs.   But you know the real issue lies within the organization and not putting the guys ( Reid, Wentz) in the best position to succeed.

Do you foresee Jeff Lurie watching a future AFC championship game where Reid is coaching and Wentz is playing.. and the light bulb finally goes off? 

I’m not real emotional about it at all. Not sure why you don’t see that Wentz was definitely a part of the problem. He just kept forcing the ball to Ertz regardless. Just wasn’t going to develop any of these receivers. Agholor wasn’t terrible. But he got in a Wentz dog house with drops ...so he wasn’t going back. Wentz was holding on to the ball while the film shows wide open guys. That’s not on coaching. That’s not on the FO. Him throwing inaccurate passes to open guys isn’t on coaching or the FO either. Who’s fault is it that Wentz has not been accepting coaching? Is it the coach because he can’t get Wentz to accept any blame or suggestions/instruction? Or is it the FO because they let Wentz go around the coach to ****? Or is there a point we actually point to the player at fault? Does the right character guy making franchise money need to be a leader? Should he lift others around him up? Or is it all just be talented and uncoachable? Only wearing the C so guys know not to mess with him. Why did his game pick up in 2019 once it became no name receivers? Is it because they hadn’t had a chance to get in his doghouse yet? That he didn’t hold the ball thinking about how he wouldn’t throw the ball towards two certain receivers regardless. He just went through his reads and slung it. What happened to him this season? Nicest version is he added weight and that threw off his touch....Oline fell apart from injury. But we saw a rookie come in and throw fit more yards than him in two games. Hard to blame lack of receiving talent when the rook comes in and throws for over 330 yards two out of three times.

 I can blame everybody for their roles. Wentz deserves his share.

IDK Ham Pitts/Trask and a coach who knows them both sounds fairly interesting to me. AT least it's one small detail done with the train load of issues we have

I would be fine if the team were going to use the picks to build around Hurts. If we are just going to trade up to draft another qb, then everyone in the front office should be fired. You don't get to captain the next ship out of the dock after you drive the Titanic right into the iceberg.

I get Foles,Trask and Hurts,you can bet they compete in camp. If hurts is the best,so be it but I'm NOT annointing him Automatically

I like the upside with Cox. I think he comes in right away as a starter but has plenty of room to develop to the NFL level. I know you hate the labels but....LSU LBs are on point. They pump them out!

I’ve been thinking similarly. Feel better if it’s taking Trask in the second. Really have no problem going with Hurts though. Gotta coach that’s known Hurts since he was four also.

I love the idea of competition. Kind of need guys to get out there in a game though. We saw how Singleton responded when he actually got in a game. Some guys are gamers. Some aren’t. When the lights are on and the crowd is roaring some guys thrive...some fold. Don’t see all that in practice. Ask Allen Iverson LOL QB is a position where one guy gets on the field. Other positions you can switch it up and get guys in there. QB only room for one. We aren’t winning the SB in 2021. Let’s see what the second round pick has got. Guy was pretty huge in college. Played in huge games. The NFL and situations aren’t too big for him. I feel confident he’s starter quality. His ceiling is the only real question for me.
