Right. I think Wilson is the clear number two. So de facto ....you’d take Fields at six.

OK, yuo don't want to answer a direct question about Lurie/ Howie and the organization... keep talking about Wentz, a guy who won't be here.   you justify your favorite coach leaving, with all the off the field stuff  .... I say that if the team had a roster like KC has now, back in 2012 ... I don't think Andy leaves that situation.   I also say that if the roster this past year was the roster we had in 2017, no shot Doug gets fired or Wentz leaving.     I'm talking about the organization's responsibility... how much success do people that Lurie hold in high  esteem have to have elsewhere, for Lurie to ask himself ... what are we doing wrong here?   What is OUR part in all of these situations.   Please, no more mention of Wentz or Andy... strictly the Eagles looking in the mirror.

Eagles have enough to look in the mirror and think Rosie and Lurie are/have been screwing up. They are still here. Still acting the same. Still believe they are always the smartest in the room. Fired three coaches already. Hired the biggest puppet HC they could sell to everybody. Still in charge. Do I need to become an infomercial...but wait...there’s more!

I’d take Fields any day over Hurts and the other guys

It Wilson will be available at 6 so won’t matter

We can do a poll if you want. Who thinks Fields goes before Wilson?

Lurie is just as much the problem...if not more. They were demanding Pedey’s staff. No way Wentz gets that contract without Lurie’s approval. Half of Rosie’s job is...voice of Lurie.

Which half picks the players?

So everything you are seeing tells you the second best QB will be there at six? Hmmm not sure how I could try to convince you otherwise if everything you’ve been seeing hasn’t convinced you that the second QB won’t last that long.

New HC. All new staff. All new ideas. All new strengths and weaknesses of said staff= Shiny new QB and as many shiny new players you can get around him. Out with the old, in with the new. As many as is possible your first year. The is a fairly common biz practice or when a biz goes through a buyout, they replace the bought out company with their own people. This includes top management(DONE), middle management(DONE) and those people there SHOULD be the ones to choose the new worker workforce. In the Eagles case,it remains to be seen if Howie lets this happen, but it's how it SHOULD be done. So if I am Lurie,I am telling Howie, HANDS OFF year ONE. Frankly he needs to keep his hands off FOREVER, but thats Jeff's call

I think we’ve been illuminated to the fact that Lurie is much more meddling than we believed previously. We made fun of Snyder and Jones and such....it appears our situation isnt all that different.

For the record my favorite coach is Don Shula

Matter of opinion cuz I have Lawerence then Sewell.... But if Wilson gone you still have Fields at 6

Fields by most is consider the 2nd best QB in the class lot saying he is 1B to Lawerence

No it's an OSU QB, we're not allowed to even consider them

Listening to a player speak right now about how games had a scrimmage vibe this season

Yes, other than AR leaving who else had major success elsewhere ... a person that Lurie really thought highly of?   A few assistant coaches, but that is the natural progression of the promotions.   You should never have a head coach leave, if it's the guy you really like... you kept him there 14 years, one SB appearance ZERO wins.... last 8 years here he made the playoffs 4 times, won playoff games in only 2 of those years.... way better success in KC.  Gotta ask yourself why, especially when articles come out specifically saying people need to leave your organization?  It's different than Rasul Douglas or something minor like that.

So you see MOST as having Fields number two? I’m seeing Wilson from BYU.

LeSean MCCoy was almost MVP

But them hiring bad choices isn’t a rousing endorsement for them either. You say it’s worse if your boy Chipper was very successful elsewhere. I think him sucking means it was a bad hire. That’s on Rosie and Lurie. Nobody else. Probably Lurie even more since he stripped some of Rosie’s power for him.

IDK are we standing at 6? If either guys goes  at 2, do we move up for the #3 guy? And you know "mocks" are only opinions Maybe someone else thinks Trask is underrated. IDK we all know  mocks are  "perceptions" and opinions and I want guys that FIT no matter where they are on a 'rank" list. Watch film on the COLTS offense and see what they look for in a QB. Obviously they like the traits Rivers had. I think Wentz has those traits, but now he is tarnished goods,so look for the Rivers type QB( that would tend to lead me to Wilson). After that does Fields fit that mold? personally I don't think he is that type. So I guess now we all need to step back and redefine "fit" because this was a complete overhaul of coaches,so we don't even know who "fits" right now because the past 4 years just got wiped clean

They forced McDermott firing on AR. Everybody thinks he’s one of the best coaches in league now...universally. Forced Groh firing on Pedey. Offense went straight down hill.
What else  you need to know the non football guys are screwing this up? You’re acting like if we just had a little more evidence....there’ll be a change. I say hogwash! They proved they’ll fire everybody else and continue to point fingers in the other direction.

Yea don’t think they forced AR to fire McDermott that was his call 100% just like it was his call to keep Marty as OC and hire Juan his OL coach as DC... All AR moves

Shula would have had to leave here to have success too then.      So you think Lurie picks the players?    so then who was responsible for spreading the BS about DeSean being in a gang...

Like do we blame Chip and only Chip for the failures of that time... but then blame Howie/Lurie for how they mess it up for Doug?     I think they have had a hand in everything... including Howie drafting Marcus Smith.     This is what to me is the biggest issue with the organization.  It gets more frustrating because of how they finally made a good situation, and then messed it up.   Like teaching your 5 year old to swim, then the next day he needs the floating again?    Whatever analogy you want to use, it has to be with a little kid, it's what it feels like we are dealing with.

One of the local radio hosts.... " Jeffrey Lurie lives in a fantasy world. Never had a job or any accountability, his parents had money and he bought a football team ... the Eagles are his toy. "

John Harbaugh would be the biggest name of guys Lurie could look back at. He’s won a game or two

Don’t agree. Just like they still are doing...they gave an ultimatum to fire McDermott. AR is a very loyal guy. You see it everywhere. He knew McDermott was a stud. They gave an ultimatum to fire Juan. They gave an ultimatum to fire Groh. The pattern is consistent. They are in charge...

Agree totally. Said many times he is a figure head. He falsely believes Howie knows what he's doing and even the fans can see that's not the case. Lurie needs to hire a REAL GM

Lmao 😂 yea Fire McDermott or your fired AR don’t see it happening like that at all. Damn you love the conspiracy theories way to much lol.

And it’s obvious they wouldn’t even hire Shula...because they’d have to give up control

No.. I would say its worse if Doug or Wentz succeed elsewhere.... Chip was not that big of an investment, and the team stunk when he took over.... same as if this new guy comes and goes without much success.  But we all know Andy was a good coach, the question was could he win the big game.  His team in KC has been way more consistent than his last 8 years here.   Then we could talk about his first 6 years and how they refused to give him any weapons when they had the QB in place.    Organizational philosophy type stuff.

Now you fire a head coach after this ridiculous hand he was dealt with Covid and all these inexperienced players... I believe if we check, EVERY position on offense had a player that took his first ever NFL snap (that's Kelce coming out for that other dude for a few snaps which completed the whole 11)    You throw that at a coach who cant have camp and needs to do weekly meetings on Zoom?  If that guy succeeds elsewhere along with the QB who was dealt the same hand... but even worse as you basically paid him so his next team won't have the big cap hit... record dead money... that's pretty bad.

Exactly it’s all just in my mind. Totally makes since when Pedey says he’s keeping Groh....only to immediately fire him after a meeting upstairs. As soon as Pedey slept on it he knew he had to fire Groh. All just his decisions. He really wanted MM involved in HIS offense. He really preferred Wentz going upstairs instead of accepting his leadership. I just enjoy creating a drama based fiction. Love this has been going on. I will admit to before Dime if these details coming out...I was confused about done of what was going on. Didn’t add up. I was against Alshon at first. Just heard him dogging the QB. Then you see what Wentz is doing over a longer period of time after questioning. And it adds up that he’s right. You also see that he came to a new commitment with the Eagles....then Rosie turned around and tried to ship him out right after.
But it’s all conspiracy....that just so happens completely fits and explains exactly what’s been happening. I believe there is much more. But you got to read between the lines. These guys think your mindless lemming that believe everything.
