Really? The Chiefs offense didn't remind you of the Eagles this year.   I thought Matt Pryor was playing for them.   Even the best today seem to struggle when no time to throw at all.  This game today offensively for the Chiefs, was the Eagles 2020 season.

Similarity we can also take...from the Andy/ Doug style...  they don't like to help their OL much with extra blocking.  I think it was a key element from Tampa when they made that adjustment during the season having Gronk and others block more to help the OL, which pretty much gives that stud crew of WRs time to do their thing.  Can't run an offense having your QB run for his life... even if it's Mahomes.

Yet Doug and Wentz take the hit for this.  Lol

Chiefs usually get some pretty predictable looks out of the defense. Makes it fairly easy for Mahomes to read. Always have that high S on Hill’s side. We remember from our days of having DJax. You know back when he actually played. That’s what that speed weapon does for you. Simplifies everything. Opens up plenty of area for the TE and Rb. Really helps the screen game also.

AFC you have Jacksonville drafting one a #1 so they are not interested. That leaves you Colts, NE, Jets and Denver. Possible raiders. Ne would never pursue Watson as they would not give away that much. Jets may draft a QB or draft help for Darnold to see if that helps him. Either Bears or Colts will trade for Wentz, so that leaves 8 or so...

I am so glad I did not bet on this game. Perfect example of how Refs can determine the outcome of any game. Yes, most probably were fouls but so many other Offensive holding penalties against TB not called. That PI at the end of the half was total BS. Not only was that incidental contact, but the ball was like 10 yards over his head. How does that get called? There were PI calls ignored against TB. Would TB have won regardless? I have no idea. This game rides a great deal on emotion and momentum. I just would prefer the Refs stay out of the game when they can. Misconduct penalties only against KC when both were started by TB....most times those are ignored

I lost interest at halftime. I already knew the outcome by then....

Jones and Garrapolo don’t make anybody not desire Watson. Totally different ballparks.

Garrapolo has been injured most of the time. They can’t be satisfied with that. A top team that could be contending with a QB. Winning SBs with Watson. It would get scary!

  • Author

Jones threw 11 TDs vs 10interceptions this season.
Watson threw 33 TDs and 7 interceptions this season.

Well another not so superbowl has come and gone.

Time to start (continue) the off season speculation.

The performance of the Bucs linebackers may have helped Parsons a lot. They dominated the game, and I imagine the Dolphins may grab him at 3 if they don't trade back. If they don't, it will be interesting to see what the Eagles do if he is there.

I SAID "Need", not desire. 49ers feel they don't Need a QB. Neither does the Giants. Would they desire Watson, sure. What we think is not necessarily what they do.....

Wonder what it ends up being. We hear all kinds of rumors, but I don't know for sure what has been discussed. If they end up getting 2 first round picks, they at least will have capital should they need to draft another QB next year (or this year if they feel they need to). I really do not know about this QB class. Are any really worth it? Maybe it would be better to get help at a bunch of other positions this year and see if Hurts is the answer or not. Once they know for sure react accordingly...

This is exactly what I would do. Hurts has gotten better every year, and if they trade Wentz, there is no harm in starting him next season to see what he can do. If he struggles, just draft a qb in 2022.

That awful TB defense was in Mahomes face ALL night. And Brady did what I said he would be,brought CONSISTENCY to their offense as opposed to hot/cold Winston. Making the intelligent moves that WE can't like picking up Fournette, Brady and AB completed the team they needed

Except that "stud crew" of WR's played 2nd fiddle to 2 NICE TE's and that why I want Pitts/Geodert if Ertz is going away

I'd rather get it and take Hydro. My daughter(and her hubby) just got through this without Anything(roughly 2 weeks) and I'm not letting the same people who can't protect me from bagged lettuce, inject my body. Nope

That's another entire season wasted. That why I want a rook QB in here(or 2 as I have it),let them compete. At least you increase the odds of finding a QB. I don't see if we get a decent offer for Wentz how we AVOID taking a QB. You guys want all your eggs in one UNPROVEN basket Thats a recipe for another disaster year. I'm taking Wilson(if there) if not Pitts, then Trask, then shoring up the defense with Moehrig at S then Cox at LB,then adding Weaver to help our pass rush, then I may look at a guy like Grimes at WR(deep class no reason to reach for one).2 CB's with my last 2 picks, both should help us,then taking Mack at RB in FA. Then I will get Brady White(Memphis) as a UDFA QB. Now I have 3 rook QB's,let them compete for the job AND I have NO BIG QB contract for 3-4 years. I can buy alot of FA players with 34. million extra bucks a year for 3-4 years. If Hurts is the best of the 3,by all means start him,but I'm not just handing him the reins without a competition

The downside is that if Hurts is good, you just wasted a first round pick on a qb who is never going to play, and that weakens you at another spot.

Imagine we get to the NFC championship game and can't stop the other team because the safety, corner or LB we should have drafted in the first round is carrying a clipboard on the sideline.

I believe the 49ers think ALL they are missing is a QB. They are ready to make a run.

And BTW we still would need a BU for him anyway right?

Wonder why lol. After the SB guys wanted to come here too,but we made sure to kill that idea. Now noone wants to come here
