Yep, becoming the laughing stock of the NFL again. Current Browns are better than the Beagles now.

I’m the complete opposite of bring him back as a S because I was impressed with him at S was lack luster again when asked to play CB.

Get Mills an actual off-season as well to be a S think he will take off

Mills plays CB very well inside the red zone where he doesn't bite on the double moves.

Other than a few linemen from the days of yore, and Sanders, our team now consists of BU's other than at TE. I hope the new staff can bring in some STARTERS

How does the colts cap look after Wentx image around 11th ish now...

Jets and Jags are prime candidates to be worst to first teams.

Still 4th according to this:

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/02/20/colts-still-near-the-top-of-the-nfl-in-salary-cap-space-after-adding-carson-wentz/

Reading an article where Wentz and Pederson hadn't even talked for 9 weeks during the season, and that Wentz was skipping meetings. That would put the onus of the blame more on Wentz, but Pederson should have manned up and dropped in on him. Idk, maybe he did.

What is the love affair with Mills? Very average player...CB or S. Tries hard. Not overly talented at either position.

Joemas, I REALLY wish I could be a part of the local media you hear/read. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt until I see Results. You know I despised Chipper, whose teams got worse each year and loved AR. DOUG brought the team the lone Super Bowl so I will always be grateful for that. As for Howie, how can he have SOOOO much power? If I owned this team, there is no way in hell i would have let that trade go down. To me it is/will be the 2nd worst trade in NFL history, behind only the Hershel Walker trade that handed the cowpies their last 3 rings and ahead of the Aints trade for ALL of their draft picks for pot smoking Ricky Williams.

I respect your opinions and would be interested in hearing your thoughts on Jalen Hurts. I am not a fan. I think he is a career backup....maybe a good backup, but not a QB that can make enough difference to carry a team in and through the playoffs consistently.

Look, Wentz sucked last year, but the OLine was worse than horrible. The WRs were non-existent....AGAIN! Hurts was 1-3 as the starter. Yes, the team played well vs a Bree-less Saints team, but the other games he did not impress. I’m just discouraged with the direction and do NOT want to go back to that 20 year barely competitive streak. Yeah, there were a year here and there that the defense was awesome but they had no offense, but they didnt win a single playoff game for almost 20 years. Dont want to go back to that....sigh.

Reading anything to be " leaked"  .... DeSean is in a gang.  This is what was the topic today on the radio.   Eagles are great at the PR of trashing people on their way out.

The team has 1 Superbowl.  The one coach and QB who led them that year.. then 2 years later to the crap roster to the playoffs...  anything you read now is all to take your mind off of the brutal job Howie has done with the roster,  the medical staff and whatever else you want to add.

The people take to the soap opera stuff today like sheep...  the same people who would answer correctly if asked why the Buddy Ryan teams never advanced in the playoffs.... because the OL stunk.  Now it's every excuse except the obvious.  Howie is a smart man.

Come on now... they won a few playoff games in the 90s.... I think 92 after Jerome passed away... was only like a 12 year gap from the SB team.  Then won again with Rhodes.  I wouldn't say 20 years... but I can easily see the other 3 teams in the division being ahead of us for a few years.  Shame for the new coach,  but will be interesting in 3 years who gets fired... and how the spin will be off of In Howie.. but that is why I think it's imperative that Indy does really well.  Gotta really make Howie look like an idiot.

Sen Wentz no longer wanted to play here. Sure you could force him to play, but do you think his heart would be in it? Just best to part ways, although Like you said, the deal was crap. AFter the Stafford deal, Howie thought he could get similar. After waiting it out awhile,he saw there was no demand for Wentz. SO, The Colts took a chance that Wentz won't have another garbage season and that was good enough for Howie. Noone else would give up more and we COULD get a round 1 pick in 2022

Kind of a precarious position here at 6. Pitts,Smith/Chase one of those 3 should be there. If we want a QB we will need to either move UP for Wilson/Fields, or trade back and pick up Trask. Since Howie may look like a hot mess if Wentz rocks it in Indy, and knowing how much he loves his attention, I think he moves for Wilson/Fields because he loves those "splash" moves. he reminds me of that little kid on the playground who has to make a fool of himself because he craves all the attention. I suppose the SMART move would be to see what Hurts has if we can get some people around him. If he fails that's another strike on Howie. Lurie seems unaffected by the strike count. Maybe at some point he will wake up

Me three! Where's it at Joe? LOL

Based on trade vaule cg

Based on trade value charts to move up to 2(4 spaces  would basically cost the farm of our early round pics. I hope he doesn't do it.T make the most of this draft,I think the move back to 9 makes the most sense.Moving back 3 should give us pick 68 in round 3,plus the round 3 85 pick for Wentz. So that would be 1-9, 2-38, 3-68, 3-70, 3-85, 5-134, 5-140- 6-165,-7-`198. At 9 I doubt Pitts would be there,Smith and Chase could also be gone.At 9 we could probably take Waddle at WR and IMP that's a nice "consoltion" prize for ADDING another 3 pick.Or if there is a QB at 9 I would look

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2021/consensus-big-board-2021       Now, going by this COMPOSITE board Pitts would be there at 9. If this is true I will go apechitbananasbonkers to get him at 9 knowing I also picked up pick 68(that would give us 3 round 3's).Going to look now to see where the QB's fall to in that scenario

Not sure if this works but if not.... google  Birds of broad street Facebook videos   Its from Feb 15 video on Hurts.      Check out the 2nd to last throw, that was the one that should have been the pick 6 for the Saints on the weak throw on the out pattern towards the bottom of the screen.

Do a mock draft for the first 11 picks ... curious as to what additions would look like for Dallas and NYG?   If Pitts were to fall, I think both could use him.  Other than that, curious if there could be a WR or CB that falls to the Giants... or if a CB or DL could fall to Dallas?

This is a really good article about Zach Wilson.

Why Zach Wilson Isn't 'Perfect' Fit In Wide Zone Offense | The Draft Network

In a nutshell, it says that Wilson wasn't an elite prospect until BYU changed its scheme. And that a lot of pretty average qbs have been able to put up pretty good numbers at the NFL level using that same scheme. He used Tannehill, Goff, Cousins and Garappolo as examples. So basically guys who are considered to be pretty good, but far from elite.

Here is a key quote from the article.

"You’ll notice that the wide zone rushing attack is seemingly making a lot of middling quarterbacks better, and an already great quarterback an MVP-caliber player. This brings us to Wilson. If he’s a perfect fit for this system, which has yet to find a quarterback who it doesn’t help, how good of a prospect is he really?"

It will be interesting to see what happens if he falls in the draft.

In terms of prospects, after Lawrence there seems to be a lot of uncertainty about the next three guys. I would not be surprised to see the Eagles take Lance if he is available, as he seems to be the prospect with the highest ceiling behind Lawrence. Sit him for a year (which is going to be a trainwreck anyway due to our cap situation) and then use our two number ones in 2022 (hopefully) plus the oodles of cap space we will have, plus another high pick if Hurts plays well, to build around him.

If you liked that video, here's one of Josh Allen making really bad throws his first two years. How did that work out?

I say anything that lets Zach Wilson fall to us lol.... Watching Tanney,Cousins,Goff they didn’t have the same caliber arm as Wlison. That what I’m looking at the arm talent that Wilson has.

Josh Allen has accuracy issue but also one of the best arms In football
