what are these rumors?   Doug coming out and talking about the situation and just not completely saying that they are not going to sign Kaepernick?   I'd love to see some of the sources you guys see?

I must be on a different planet?   Live here near Philly, haven't seen rumors of any interest in Kaep?   Heard Doug on the radio give the standard Eagles answer about every player ...etc.   We have Wentz ... A guy we just drafted in round 2 and Sudfeld who they like.   The other thing is they have limited cap space... get it it ... limited Kaep space.    So whatever world any of you are living in that thinks because back in November a token rep was sent to a workout and coach just never denied being 100% out on him... I don't see that happening.  Come on ....  They made Rasul Douglas take a pay cut from $2 mil.... they ain't signing a vet QB.

This is not from November. But you are right in that the Media has lost its credibility lately, so you are probably right. Seems media prints whatever fits its agenda anymore and ignores truth.

So a giuy makes a list... puts the Eagles down as # 7 ... and " rumors are the Eagles are interested in Kaep?"    It's a guy making a list.   I can make a list myself ... doesn't mean anything in regards to what the Eagles want or can do.  

We haven't had sports in 3 months ... players in all the sports are catching the virus .... how is Kaep a story for any of us to worry about... dude hasn't played in 3 years and we have 3 QBs????

Would be my guess as we’ll losing brooks is tough though depth the OL is looking like a serious concern though....T depth already iffy have to hope someone steps up that we have been developing, moving Pryor up to starting G means he is no longer capable of being the backup G at either spot not sure who else we have Hebig maybe if he steps up opeta

Kind of hard to see the Eagles having interest in Kaep just strictly football we just invested in Hurts using a 2nd round pick and we brought back a QB that has What 3 years in our system...Of course Wentz is the starter. 
 

Vegas, Jags, Broncos, Chargers, Texans(as backup), NE, Miami, Seattle(said to have interest). All seem like more realistic options.

And also have to be think this is a guy who is what 32-33 years old hasn’t played professionally in 3 years not saying he can’t find success again but odds are it’s going to take time....This was also a player that relied heavily on his athleticism sure he is still a great athlete but he likely isn’t the same guy he was when he was 25 and he can surely become a better thrower but wasn’t a strong suit of his when he was in the league.

They were out the league for completely different reasons but Kaep situation is similar to that of Vick’s. Similar style players missed 2-3 years. Kaep likely way better off then Vick’s was coming back using personal trainers etc. but again still has not played football in 3 years no practice is going to replicate an actual game

Pryor didn't look bad when he wasn't false starting. That could have been rookie nerves. I guess we'll see soon enough.

I would like a lot of things ... salary cap will come into play.   Plus they kept a lot of linemen ... you would think for a reason.   A lot of penny pinching moves were made this offseason... I'm thinking they hold off on anything that is band aid for this year, that might cost us say.... medium $$$.

The cap situation is for next year.  They can fit whatever they want now, but ut takes away from the carryover of extra cap space that they will need next year.    The long term deal shouldn't be a concern because it should have the regular signing bonus to bring the cap hit down these first couple of years.  If you lock in a player long term, and you like the player, then you make the move.  However, they have added a lot of pieces to what you may consider a box type safety this off season.  Not sure they want to invest there.... but if they do, I wonder if people start realizing Mills will play the #2 outside CB ...  as his primary spot now, not just part time.   That's a nice secondary with Slay, Mills, McCloud and Adams... with the other guys now being pushed back into smaller roles where they can excel more.  

My guess... we probably have to throw in Ertz... that has been the talk on the local radio.

I just look at Adams as an very good borderline elite S guys like that don’t become free very often so I’d be all for him.... We can say we added Mills and Parker whoever else but come on they don’t compare to the caliber player Adams is. 
 

As for Mills going outside I fine with it especially if we move around pieces for matchups don’t think we have to lock mills at just S or just CB... Same with a guy like Maddox....I’m fine with us moving guys around to get the best matchups

 I heard someone already offered a first and a 2nd for him earlier this year and it was turned down. Maybe things are different now, but I am sure they want a first as a minimum. Ertz and a 3rd may work though. Ertz is a top TE no matter how you slice it. Sure he is 30 but still has plenty of good years ahead of him. That actually makes sense as far as cap space too...

  Do not forget about Jones. I know, he has not looked great to date. But he showed signs towards the end of last year. I heard it was all mental with him. He had issues getting over his ACL injury and just started trusting his knee late last year. Listen, if Jones plays like most thought, we would have a very solid backfield...

Asante Samuels was only in Philly for 4 years really wow thought he spent more time then that here.... Asante got a to of hate for his tackling but damn nobody can say they would love to see his coverage ability or turnover ability in other secondary now
