If Bateman is there in 2 you bet I pull that trigger. I was planning on him being gone, but who knows? I consider him a round 1 talent, so it's not impossible he falls to 37 because this class is so deep. In most drafts he would be a sure fire round 1

Wentz had to be traded.... they got 2 picks and the contract off the books.   What's the point in keeping him ... the team stinks and he didn't want to be here.  Why keep that contract on the books... when a championship is not in reach anyway?

I would have thought most teams already knew we were not going QB round 1, so not a real surprise. Eagles most likely want either Chase or Pitts and know one of them is going to be there at 6. Either one is a pro bowl talent so not too huge of a deal.

True bro, but he played last year too and that went to well he got benched. Led the league in picks and sacks and he did so even after he was pulled for 4 games (that takes real effort).Not too sure I wanted to see that BS again here. He was so bad, he should pay back his 2020 salary. He wasn't worth league minimum

You KNOW I agree with this, but lets also recall our last round 1 pick has yet to do ANYTHING of consequence. No guarantees. I think Pitts would transition pretty easily,IDK about the new WR we get. The guy they reco at least has not been injured at any time. His only knock is who he had to sit behind, so what is his ceiling, if he wasn't behind those 2? IDK,if he's is cheap I'll bring him in and MAKE the young guys beat him out

Reagor is an assumed starter. Other than him we have?? WHO locked in??? You could argue Fulgham maybe, Ward is "OK", the rest are WIP'S, so I could understand a FA pick-up. Look at our recent WR pick's AG was ok one year(of 5), Hollins was a waste of resources, Jjaw has shown little, Reagor has shown me zero reason he was a round 1 pick and the few other guys sans a few"bright spot" plays have not shown me they are sustainable. I guess you guys are satisfied with mediocre lol

For this season……considering cost (if able to hit on some picks) yes mediocre is fine lol.

That's what you get then. My goals are set higher

This season I'll be content with a substantial amount of improvement at every position. If we have money to spend then yes, I'll taken some proven FA's. 

Here's a prospect I like in the late rounds.

He played outside corner in college, but to me he is pretty clearly a safety. He's a solid tackler and seems to be able to quickly diagnose what's happening in front of him. If I were the Eagles I would target someone like him in the sixth or seventh round, namely an undersized guy who may have been used incorrectly in college.

Really hard to tell can’t believe anything with this team. Honest would not shock me either way they go if they are 100% honestly and Hurts is the guy or if this is a smokescreen because we want a QB. 

If Hurts is the guy trading back seems more likely teams should be calling to move up for a QB and we should be in a favorable spot for them. Though just taking the best player at 6 should have plenty of appeal as well.

I mean FA TE market is decent got Ruldolph, Smith(Titans), Henry(Chargers) maybe they are not Ertz but also don’t cost you picks.
