I don’t see Mack as a band-aid he could easily be part of the long term process if we want him to be. Think he is only what 25 maybe he could realistically be part of a 1-2 punch with Sanders for awhile. Those are the type of FAs I would aim for.

Bandaid to me would be Djax he was never a long term solution

IDK that Mack would be either(see Ajayi and Howard)

I said it possible he could be not that he would be. The real questions would be his health coming back from injury and of course contract if he balls out on a prove it deal he won’t be coming back of course.

If he plays decent and we can retain him for a reasonable price things are different. But the possibility of a young guy that could be more the a 1-2 year band aid is what I’d look for.

As for Ajayi if bad knees and injuries did t derail him we could have a a really nice 1-2 punch with him and Sanders

Every top 10 pick since Lurie owned the team.
2016: QB
Carson Wentz (R1 P2)
2013: RT Lane Johnson (R1 P4)
2000: DT Corey Simon (R1 P6)
1999: QB Donovan McNabb (R1 P2)
1995: DE Mike Mamula (R1 P7)

Will this be the year they change it up and draft something other an lineman or QB.  I don’t know I’ll believe when I see it though.

IDK if we pass on Pitts, I may end my fandom because I'm sure the Gnats or Dullaz would LOVE to use him against us and I hope we aren't that stupid

Once again disagree. After 2022 we will have to pay Sanders, so a 1-2 year band aid with Mack. Then go from there

The comp picks really pushed our round 5 picks back quite a bit. 2 extra 6ths may give us some depth additions

Lmao so you wouldn’t want to retain Mack if you can on the cheap even if he is working great with Sanders. Come on now if that’s the case I wouldn’t even sign Mack no point just draft a guy and ride with Sanders/Scott/ Rookie.

To me the Eagles should not sign any band-aids makes zero sense for them at this stage they need guys that can/could be part of the long term goals.

LMAO that's what a band aid is for lol. so you're gonna sign Mack to a 4 year deal? I wouldn't but whatever

Problem is you cannot expect this O-Line to remain healthy. It did not the past 3 years and is OLDER. We do not know what Hurts will do. We do not know what the WR's will do. We do not know who we will get in this draft. So..... Assuming the O-Line remains somewhat healthy (does not lose more than 1 for the entire season) and the WR's do good (not great but Good) and Hurts plays much better than we all think, we have a shot at 6 games. If HR drafts well we have a shot a 7 but that is our threshold my friend. Much more likely we end up with 4 wins plus or minus a game.

Oline is potentially in real good shape. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lane, Brooks and Kelce are pro bowlers. Developed the depth this past season. Two guys at LT to compete. Seumalo with Opeta backing up at LG is at least solid. Herbig showed well. Think he can play RG or LG and emergency C. Driscoll really impressed me. Think he can play RT or RG. Maybe even LG.

Eagles added two comp picks to our draft so got two extra 6th rounders to add to your mocks

They now have 10 draft picks:

1st round

2nd round

3rd round

3rd round (from Colts)

5th round

5th round (from Cowboys)

6th round

6th round (comp.)

6th round (comp.)

7th round

Nice. Thought we’d only get one

Depends on the FA in my eyes don’t want band aids but if we can get a guy that be part of the long term future

I’m definitely geared towards youth. But sure I’d be ok with a longer term afoordable-ish FA. Clearing cap dollars is crucial. Right now they are just taking money owed now into the future seasons. I’ve been preaching to clear the cap. Thinking we can maybe bring in a vet DB that can be worth while.

I’d think draft pick. RB is mostly a young man’s game. Need low tread. The rookie pay scale is a nice benefit also.

They made it so comp picks are trade-able now too. I use those to maneuver.

yeah I think we can do 7-10. 9-10 wins may win this lame division. I doubt that will be us lol

I think the optimistic point of view is....we could pull out a few wins early. Then the young players kick in at the end of the season to finish on a hot streak ....winning the final three...four games....win the division. Going into the playoffs with a young rebuilt team that’s hot ....with a home playoff game.

That's a little "glass 3/4 full" for me, but I love it. Hope your right!

Mack is 25/26. He's not exactly on a walker yet. I would sign him to a 2 year.He would be 27/28 then. Maybe we sign him again if he is on fire, maybe not. So far the "young mans" RB has not shown up to play although we sign old ones NOT to play(see Howard). Point is no young RB has shown up and it would be rough sledding if we were back to only Scott again since I seriously doubt we draft a RB in 1 or 2. Mack would give us that band aid as well as contribute in a RBBC

Yeah I see that also, but for the sake of mocks around the world, I wont count on it especially if we can get a 4th for Ertz. With the comp picks, those obviously pushed back the 5th round players I had. The extra 2 could be excellent for getting some DECENT BU depth in here

1-6- Pitts  2-37- CB of choice  3-70- Twyman-DL-Pitt   3-85-Tylan Wallace-WR-Ok st   5-151-Jaret Patterson-RB-Buffalo   5-157-Tony Fields-LB-WV  6-189- Davis Mills-QB-Stanford   6-224-Tariq Thompson-S-SD st.   6-225- Brendan Jaimes-OT-Nebraska    7-234-Kendrick Green-IOL OR st.

Jags have 2 4ths. I would be on the phone to them for an Ertz trade. Would be a nice outlet for the assumed starter Lawrence

Is Siri rolling with a featured back or RBBC? I'm assuming RBBC by your post. Haven't had time to check out news on him other than here.

IDK my thoughts are, if you aren't quite sure your o line can handle things, it would behoove you to get a basher back who can also lead blocker for your "star" especially on short yardages or at the GL. Just more options with  RBBC backfield

True bro, but he played last year too and that went to well he got benched. Led the league in picks and sacks and he did so even after he was pulled for 4 games (that takes real effort). Not too sure I wanted to see that BS again here. He was so bad, he should pay back his 2020 salary. He wasn't worth league minimum

How many games were you able to watch last year? Like really watch ?
